Your mom woke up earlier than usual on her day off. She had a weird feeling in her stomach and decided to get up. She tried falling back asleep to no avail.

She walked around the house and went downstairs to your room. She found it empty. Her heart started beating rapidly and then went back to normal when she remembered your message from last night.

‘I’m sleeping at Tae’s; don’t know when I’ll go back.’

 She looked around your room and then went back upstairs to the kitchen.

A while later; Hyorin entered the kitchen still wearing her PJs and with sleepy eyes. She approached Bora and kissed her head.

“Why are you up so early?” Hyorin asked, sitting beside her. Bora smiled.

“I couldn’t sleep.” Bora held her hand as she rested her head on her shoulder.

“Something on your mind?” Hyorin snuggled to her. Bora nodded. “Let’s go back to bed and talk about it.” Hyorin stood up, holding Bora’s hand and dragging her to the bedroom.

A few hours later, Bora and Hyorin were making lunch.

“Does ___ like beef?” Hyorin asked while searching for meat in the fridge. “I don’t think we’ve ever cooked beef here with her.”

“She does, she likes everything, especially when she’s hungry.” Your mom told her and they chuckled.

“I should make my famous secret beef dish.” Hyorin took out a few ingredients and closed the fridge.

“How is it famous and at the same time secret?” Your mom asked her.

“Because you can eat it but you can’t watch me cook it,” Hyorin explained, opening the fridge once more and taking out a can of soda. “Now, here’s your refreshment and there’s the door to the living room.”

“Oh really?” Your mom smirked and Hyorin glared at her playfully.

“Out!” Your mom made a salute.

“Yes, ma’am!”

Your mom took the can and her phone and went to the living room. She made herself comfortable and decided to call you to let you know that lunch would be ready soon.

Seeing that your phone was turned off she decided to call Taeyeon.
