The next morning, Jiyong woke up super early, at 4 am, excited and nervous for his morning breakfast with Dara.  He decided to go for a run.  He washed up and changed into his gym clothes, with a long sweat pants and a nike T-shirt.  Jiyong snuck out of the room quietly so he don’t wake the boys up.  When he got out the apartment building, he notice Dara standing to the side stretching. 

“Baby girl!”

“Ji-ah!  Good morning!”  Dara greet him with a huge smile on her face.

He smiles back and head over to her, “Going for a run?”

“Yup, you?”

“Me too.  Let’s go together?”  Jiyong blurted out without thinking before blushing.

“See if you can keep up baby boy~”  Dara stuck her tongue out and started jogging away from him.

Jiyong shook his head at her immature yet cute tatics, “Yah!  You’ll be begging me for a piggy back ride soon enough!”  He shout after her and started running.

“Ah, young love” an elderly lady sitting on a nearby bench smile fondly at the scene while she knits.

They jog in silence, completely at peace with each other. They don’t need to talk because the silence is not uncomfortable, they don’t need to fill the awkwardness.  After a while, they come to a park with a hill. 

“Ji, can you see the sunrise from the hill with all these trees around?”

“Yeah, there’s a little area on top cleared of trees.  You want to go?”

“Race ya!”

Dara dash ahead, laughing while Jiyong pretends to be mad at her for cheating.

“wait!  This is –gasp- a steep hill! Be – gasp- careful!”  Jiyong tries to warn her but he’s so tired from the running that she can barely hear him.

“Come on baby boy!  Weren’t you going to make me beg for a piggy back ride?”

“That was before – gasp-“

Upon reaching the top, Jiyong huffed and sat down on the grass, breathing heavily.

“Yah, don’t sit, walk around, and breathe.” 

Jiyong groans so Dara went over and grab is arms and pulls him up.

“I just want to lay down…”  He whines but got up nonetheless.

“Come one, we still have to run back.”

“Nooooooooo.  How can you do this??  This is too much running.”

“I trained for a marathon.”

“Really?”

Dara plops down and stretch herself out.

“Yeah, I want to run a marathon.”

“I guess I’ll have to start making signs, and calling people so I can have the best seat at the finish line.”

Dara sat up and pointed at the rising sun, “It’s rising! Come here Ji!”

Jiyong came and sat down next to her.  He places his arm around her shoulder and pulled her in, her head resting against his shoulder.

They both quietly watches the sun rise, and how it illuminate everything around.
