The next morning Kris was awake before the kids carefully reading a recipe trying to make his kids breakfast. The soup was bubbling and the rice cooker was working so he sat to read through the now washed sheets his wife had left for him as instructions for the day. Today he needed to take the children to the hospital to get Shots for Yue and Ye needed to have his ears looked at.

    He had the table set and his bag packed for taking them out when he went into the bedroom, Yue was sitting up her wispy hair was defying gravity atop her head as she looked around noticing Kris she held her hands up expecting to be picked up. Kris grinned some and walked over kissing her cheek “ go wash your face” he told her as she rubbed her face into his shoulder sighing tiredly. Ye was deeply asleep, spread eagle mouth open and snoring just a little bit and Kris shook his head reaching over he gripped his son's foot shaking slightly “ Ye” he called “ good morning” he added as the boy whined stretching and starting to wake up.

    Kris picked up the toddler and walked towards the bathroom Yue was messily washing her face. He started to help Ye as well as yue brushed her teeth. She sang to herself in chinese which made Kris grin, singing along to the children's song. Once they were washed and dressed he settled ye into his highchair and Yue took her seat clamboring up as he buckled her in “ Baba good!” she smiled giving him a thumbs up and kris grinned “ Thank you yue eat a lot we have to go out today” he said passing her a bowl and sitting down to give ye his food, once they were both done eating Kris set them up to play and went to get dressed himself checking his bag he got his car keys and walked out towards the kids. Getting two toddlers into a car took him awhile and once he was driving Yue shouted “ BABA MUSIC” flicking her wrist like it was a cue and Kris laughed some pressing a button music filled the car and Yue squealed “Zico Oppa!” she clapped her hands doing her best to rap with him as Kris groaned “ Appa’s music?” he tried to persuade her to switch it and she ignored him.

    Once they reached the hospital Kris checked in holding Yue’s hand and carrying Ye in the waiting room they played quietly and while they were lead back Yue didn't think anything of it, it was when she was suddenly on an exam table that she started to whine and reach for kris who held Ye with one hand and held Yue with the other “ its fine” he assured as the doctor readied needles 

“ Shots is something Luna cant do” he laughed some “ i always take the kids” he nodded “ or my wife gets upset” he explained 

 Yue was crying as she clung to her dad who was patting her back while Ye was crying as a nurse held him looking into his ears which once they were done they handed him back. The doctor was a kind looking elderly man who said “ Ye will have to come back we’re concerned about some scarring in his ears” he explained to Kris who looked concerned “ will it affect his hearing?” he asked and the doctor shook his head “ we don't think it will but just to be safe we should watch it” he said. Kris scheduled the next appointment and walked back to the car with two upset kids `` Yue-ah '' he called to his still crying daughter “ Appa thinks we should have ice cream. Do you want that?” he asked. Yue through tears nodded furiously wiping her face while ye shrieked “ Me!” shaking his legs wanting some too and Kris nodded “y
