After dinner, Seok Jin-hyung offers to drive me home.

"It's fine really. I'm not that far from home. I can walk."

"If you don't want Jin-hyung to take you in his car I can walk you," Tae Hyung suggests.

"Uhm...okay."

"I don't know if I should be offended that you chose him over me," Jin-hyung says jokingly.

"Of course he's going to choose Tae over you. It's his boyfriend," Yoon Gi-hyung comments.

"Nobody has ever rejected THE Kim Seok Jin."

"Yeah well Jung Kook just did," Ji Min says.

 It earns him a smack to the back of his head.

My phone starts ringing.

"Hello mom."

"Are you on your way home?"

"Yes."

"Who's bringing you?"

"Tae Hyung."

"Okay. Be careful."

"Yeah."

"See you when you get home."

"Bye."

I put my phone back in my pocket.

"She wants to know how you're getting home?"

I turn to look at Tae Hyung.

"Yeah."

"Alright guys Jung Kook has to go. I'll be back later."

"Good night everyone."

They wave goodbye.

Our fingers are intertwined as we walk.

The silence begins to get awkward.

"Jung Kook."

"Yes?"

"Would you....like ever consider becoming my boyfriend?"

"Tae Hyung I-"

"I-I'm not asking you out or anything I just wanna know."

"It's wrong Tae."

He stops walking. I look at him.

"Can you just forget about all that Jesus stuff for a minute. Just put that aside and answer my question."

I look down at my shoes.

"Would I consider being your boyfriend? I wouldn't even think about it."

I look at him and he looks away.

"...O-Okay."

"I wouldn't think about it because I don't have to. Without a second thought I would say yes."

His head snaps up.

"What? R-Really?"

"Yes really."

Next thing I know my back is against a tree and Tae Hyung is kissing me like his life depended on it.

He bites my bottom lip and a whimper slips out.

I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer. My hand moves down to the hem of his shirt but he grabs my hand and stops me. He steps back. 

"Let's get you home. It's late."

We continue walking to my house.

"I'm not your boyfriend, right?"

"Not yet."

"Ever."

"...."

"What exactly do boyfriends do?"

"Uh well they kiss each other, go out on dates, they argue sometimes but then make up, joke around- stuff like that."

"Kind of like we do now."

"Except for the arguing part."

"Yeah."

The rest of the walk is quiet.

"Alright well I'll see you tomorrow."

"Good night Tae."

"Sweet dreams babe."

He gives me a quick kiss and walks away.

I look at his retreating back for a couple seconds.

"He's so cute," I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn around.

"M-Mom how long have you been looking at us?"

"The entire time."

"I'm tired so I'll just go wash up and head to bed. Good night."

" 'Sweet dreams babe.' "

"MOM!"

"Alright alright good night sweetie."

I go take a long, hot shower and go straight to bed after.

Thursday morning I wake up in a very good mood.

I remember what happened yesterday.

It brings a smile to my face without me even realizing it.

I continue to get ready for school.

Maybe becoming his boyfriend would be a good thing...

*Knock Knock*

"Come in."

"Are you ready for school yet sweetie? Your friends are downstairs," my mom says.

"Yeah I'm ready."
