"I want to take Seulgi's part."

Jimin declared as she pointed at the lyric sheet in front of her and Minjeong. Since assigning the teams, they didn't waste any time and began planning in the studio. The earlier, the better.

The song that was assigned to them was "Naughty" by Seulgi and Irene from Red Velvet. Because it was only the two of them, deciding on the parts was easy as pie.

Because Jimin wanted Seulgi's part, Minjeong didn't have a choice and settled with Irene's. Well, Jimin's the most suited for Seulgi's part, anyway.

Although Minjeong was a bit worried about her dancing skills, Jimin was there to cheer her up and assure her that she would be perfect. So she agreed to go along with her idea. And then they got started.

It took them a while to find the right beats to make it work, but eventually, both girls found a rhythm, and it worked perfectly.

After they finished their final run-through, both of their breathing became labored. Their bodies were covered in sweat, and they were still working out a little until Minjeong decided to lie on the floor as soon as the music stopped.

"No... more..." Minjeong said between breaths, "Tired."

"You've been exercising to raise your stamina, and that's it?"

"Yah, you can't blame me for having no experience in the first place. You guys were well-trained."

Looking at her girlfriend fondly, Jimin picked up a face towel to throw onto her face. "Haha, hang on. We're still going to fix many things and record tomorrow."

"Ahh... I wanna eat bingsu again." Minjeong stared at the ceiling blankly, "But I'm going to get fat."

Jimin laughed.

It wasn't long before Jimin joined her on the ground, taking out her phone and resting it on her stomach.

"We still have a few minutes before it's Team 5's turn... I know you didn't get much sleep yesterday. You can sleep, and I'll wake you up."

Minjeong smiled tiredly at that sight before closing her eyes and relaxing, allowing herself to drift off into sleep. The instant her girlfriend was asleep, Jimin stood up and waved at the blinking camera in the corner of the room.

She approached it before glancing at Minjeong and whispering, "I'll let her sleep for a bit. Isn't she cute?"

"Hey, gu-"

A voice was suddenly heard, though it was cut as they covered their mouth the second they saw Minjeong asleep. When Jimin turned around, she saw that it was Aeri and her team. Sleeping on the floor peacefully, Minjeong looked like a golden baby retriever. One of them had a camera on hand, thus, directing the camera at the scene.

"...Wow. Who knew her sleeping on the floor could look so cute?" Yizhuo said with disbelief in her words as she walked toward them, "We have a puppy of our own too. Isn't that right, Yujin?"

Yujin chuckled, "If that's how you guys look at me."

Closing her left eye, Wonyoung created a frame with her fingers to direct at Yujin. "Considering your height and long brown hair, you kind of look like an Irish setter, Yujin."

Walking next to Jimin to greet the camera, Chaeryeong crossed her arms. "They're about to turn the whole room into a pet store."

With that, everyone laughed in silence. Yujin then quickly crouched down next to Minjeong and began filming. And speaking of Yujin, this was the first time Jimin saw Team 5 as a whole since yesterday. They have a strong standing, definitely something to look out for.

After a few minutes, Jimin shook Minjeong awake. "Hey, baby. It's time to go... it's Team 5's turn to use the studio," she whispered, an affectionate tone evident.

Slowly opening one eye, Minjeong looked at where she was, only to see all of her friends surrounding her with Yujin's camera lenses aimed at her. Minjeong almost forgot that she was in the middle of filming when her vision caught Jimin's figure, seated next to her while gazing at her with gentle eyes.

"...Good afternoon?"

"Geez, you guys gotta stop scaring the poor thing." Aeri laughed.

Mumbling something incomprehensible under her breath, Minjeong sat up and looked around drowsily, her body slowly coming back to life. As she rubbed the sleep away, she stretched her arms out, stretching her long legs and yawning loudly, waking herself up even further.

"You guys are the last ones to practice before whatever surprise the show will throw at us again, right?"

They all nodded, and Minjeong told them good luck before getting ready to leave. When she finally exited the studio, Jimin walked to her side, pacing her steps. They walked through the hallways in silence, clearly tired from all the practice and planning.

When they passed by one of the doors, which they both hadn't noticed was open, Heejin emerged from behind it, holding her clipboard. She looked very much tired, as if she had not slept the night before. Heejin didn't notice that they were already outside, so when she did, she greeted them and looked at Minjeong with relief.

"Minjeongie! Good timing, I was just about to go and look for you."

Minjeong scratched her cheek, feeling somewhat ominous. "You're going to look for me?" she asked, trying to sound nonchalant.

"Yeah, I want to talk with you privately." Heejin looks at Jimin with a smile, "Is that alright, Jiminie?"

Jimin nodded, understanding that it was not her business to interfere in what Minjeong and Heejin were about to discuss. Maybe something related to the system? That was all Jimin could think of since Heejin didn't want her in with the talking. After all, she was not a player, to begin
