Jimin was sitting up, eyes immensely focused on the screen— gripping tightly onto Minjeong's hand as nervousness took over.

Minjeong couldn't do anything but solely laugh the suffocation off, smiling away the pain whilst patting the taller's back in comfort.

"Oh, that wasn't long... but you still got screentime unlike the three of us! Way to go!" Aeri noticed her best friend's nervous expression and complimented her in assurance.

Watching the tv, Jimin's screentime on the audition round finally ended. She sighed and dropped her back against the couch's backrest in relief, then quickly apologized to Minjeong for gripping tightly onto her hand.

The shorter didn't mind and shrugged it off.

「Kim Minjeong. Please come forward!」

As soon as the MC announced her name, everyone in the room had their interests piqued.

"Oh, this is going to be good!" Somi chuckled.

Aeri sat up properly, "This I gotta see!"

"Baby."

Jimin called and Minjeong shifted to look at her. When letting go of her hand, she giggled and playfully nudged the latter next to her.

"Banana cha cha~ Banana cha cha~" she danced her arms teasingly.

"Oh god, no..." Minjeong instantly felt embarrassed and facepalmed which earned her a few chuckles from everyone.

The atmosphere continued on like that and everyone proceeded to focus on Minjeong's screentime. Yujin predicted how this scene would appear longer due to how unique Minjeong's choice of songs was as well as how fun it looked— she wasn't wrong about that.

Surely, it became one of episode one's highlights the moment Banana Cha Cha started playing. Huge subtitles of "!!!" were put below the shocked faces of the judges and contestants.

Immediately after that subtitle appeared, just right when Minjeong was about to dance, a commercial break appeared. Causing everyone in the room except Minjeong to groan in displeasure.

"Why do they always gotta do a commercial break every freaking time a good part appears?" Aeri whined whilst munching on her bowl of chips.

"TV shows, you know?" Yujin snickered.

Commenting here and there, instead of listening to her whole team's disappointment, Minjeong landed her eyes on her phone's screen to read the live chat.

Minjeong was getting a lot of mixed reactions and she wasn't sure what to do with it.

Still, it was certainly a good sign as it'll do her good exposure. Even if it meant getting a lot of hate. She concluded that as long as gains a lot of attention in the show, UNet would consider her as a valuable contestant that would raise their ratings.

The power of editing would be one of her chances to earn her a spot on the debuting team. Then there's UNet's favoritism, another option. However, that's unlikely so Minjeong threw that idea away and focused on her possible chances of winning.

A few minutes later, the commercial break was finally over and everyone pulled their eyes away from their phones, then back to the tv screen.

When the subtitle faded away from the screen, the camera directed at Minjeong who struck a pose and showed a serious, confident expression. Everyone present on the set erupted in cheers and laughter.

The editing made her performance look cute. In all honestly, Minjeong wore a serious face so the viewers would think that she was sincerely trying even if she was terrible at dancing.

And UNet just edited her cutely, which isn't bad.

She expected the editing team would edit her as this terrible talentless dancer that would up the chances of her getting eliminated in the upcoming second episode.

She wasn't expecting her screentime to be this good.

Seeing herself dance to the song, Minjeong grabbed one of the pillows and covered her face in embarrassment. She didn't spare a glance to look at her teasing friends and waited for the song to finish.

 The moment she did, she uncovered her face and looked back at the tv where the scene of her singing beautifully was shown. Minjeong's teammates got quiet at this part and solely clapped their hands in amusement.

So far so good.

Her screentime for the audition round ended in two minutes, the most compared to her teammates. Soon after, the screen showed the experiences of the other contestants and all of it ended within thirty-five minutes.

At the end of the round where everyone had their ranks assigned, the camera focused on the high rankers who were cheering happily for being able to ride in a limousine on their way to their dorms.
