“Let’s go slow, shall we?”

Yoona took Seohyun’s right hand and caressed it slowly, drawing circles on her palm with her thumb.

This was going to be slow going, Yoona thought, but for Seohyun baby steps were necessary.

“This okay?” Yoona asked and Seohyun nodded. Of course, Yoona thought, we’ve been holding hands for as long as I can remember. This won’t be new to her.

Yoona then drew Seohyun’s hand to her and cupped it on her cheek. Seohyun’s palm was cool against her face, and she could sense how nervous Seohyun was. 

“That okay?” Again, Seohyun nodded.

She moved closer to Seohyun so that their knees were touching and cupped her left hand to her other cheek. With the small distance between their faces Yoona could see Seohyun’s eyes wavering, but it was also visible that she was trying to keep them steady. Yoona beamed inwardly.

Now Yoona let go of Seohyun’s hands, and put her arms around her neck.

Seohyun’s eyes widened and she stuttered, “Yoona, wha—“

Yoona placed a finger on her lips to shush her, and whispered, “Be still,” as she traced a finger from Seohyun’s nape to her neck. She paused at Seohyun’s throat for a second—Seohyun can’t help but gulp out of nervousness—and then continued downward, Yoona’s fingers lightly skimming over her collarbones and going even further downward.

Seohyun felt goosebumps on her arms as Yoona’s finger stopped at the place where her heart should be.

Yoona could feel Seohyun quivering—out of what, she had no idea—so she asked, “Nervous? We could stop this,” but Seohyun violently shook her head, took Yoona’s hand and placed it above her heart.

“You can feel it right? My heart… it’s beating so fast. So fast.” It was true, Yoona could feel Seohyun’s heart dancing around in her chest, like putting your ear to the ground and feeling it vibrate wildly from the hooves of running horses. Seohyun looked at Yoona’s eyes and continued, “And I don’t know why. Am I nervous? Am I… excited?” Seohyun paused, took a deep breath and continued, “I want to know why.”

Yoona nodded. She removed her hand from Seohyun’s heart and started tracing again with her finger, this time on her arms.

Right shoulder, from the shoulder blade to her elbow, down to her arm and to her wrist, to the palm and to each of her fingers.

Left shoulder, from the shoulder blade to her elbow, down to her arm and to her wrist, to the palm and to each of her fingers.

As Yoona’s finger skimmed through her Seohyun felt the heat from Yoona’s nails leave a trace on her skin, making her hair stand on end. On every area Yoona touched, goosebumps emerged.

When Yoona's fingers left her skin Seohyun was left wanting more--Yoona's touches ignited something deep inside her, something she had no idea existed. As if reading Seohyun's mind, Yoona went back to Seohyun's shoulders, this time with her lips.

She kissed Seohyun's shoulder first, retracing the path her fingers made with her lips. Slowly and softly, she kissed from her shoulders down to her palms, then to each of her fingers. Every time Yoona leaned in to plant a kiss on her skin, the ends of her hair would tickle Seohyun's skin, adding to the little sensations that was now jumbling Seohyun's mind and body into one hot, needy mess.

Throughout this time Yoona’s other hand was placed on Seohyun’s nape, keeping her head in place so that she won’t look down or hide her eyes from Yoona. I need to see how you look, while I touch you like this.

Without warning, Yoona suddenly leaned in to Seohyun and stopped short of placing her lips on her. Yoona’s sudden motion made Seohyun close her eyes, but when she realized that Yoona was not doing anything she opened her eyes to take a peek.

“Don’t close your eyes”, Yoona whispered, “and look at me.”

Yoona’s whisper sent shivers all over Seohyun’s body, but her body tingled all the more when suddenly, Yoona leaned in and placed her lips on Seohyun’s neck.

Seohyun gasped—Yoona has never done anything like this before—as Yoona planted butterfly kisses on the crook of her neck, following a straight line up to her ear. Seohyun couldn’t help but close her eyes to engulf herself in this new sensation. I never knew it felt this good.

Yoona continued to plant kisses on Seohyun’s neck, and as reached Seohyun’s throat the latter leaned back further to give Yoona better access, planting her hands on her sides for her to lean back better and support herself. Seohyun felt Yoona smiling into and she couldn’t help but gasp, for the smiling movement of Yoona’s mouth send shivers up her spine. Yoona then continued on to the other side of her neck, still planting soft, soft kisses on Seohyun’s already heated skin.

Yoona then leaned back to look at Seohyun, her eyes shining. She had no qualms doing what she did to Seohyun because it was clear to her that it was fine for Seohyun, and while she looked nervous she seemed excited at the same time. The kind of nervous excitement when you’re experiencing something for the first time and you don’t know how to react, or are too shy to explicitly react.

Seohyun slowly opened her eyes and saw Yoona looking at her.

She murmured, just loud enough for Yoona to hear. “Yoona?”

“Hm?”

Seohyun blushed and lowered her eyes, so Yoona placed a finger under her chin and tilted her head up.

Yoona could sense that Seohyun was holding back because she was shy, so she asked, “Do you want me to do something?”

Seohyun averted her gaze from Yoona, but as Yoona was holding her face up she couldn’t hide her eyes, so she just bit her lip and nodded.

“What is it? Tell me.”

Silence, where the only thing they could hear was the constant thrumming of the air conditioning in Seohyun’s room, when suddenly—

The sound of sheets rustling as Seohyun suddenly leaned forward, placed her hands on Yoona's nape and pulled her close to whisper:

“Kiss me.”
