A knock on the door caught their attention and Gayoon leaned her head over on to Kikwang's shoulders, sobbing loudly when she realized who had entered the room. Kikwang patted her lightly as tears continued streaming down his face. 

Doojoon had resignedly sank into the sofa at the corner of the room, his hands covering his face but the tears escaping from his fingers was evident of the sorrow that was swallowing him up.    Yoseob's mother sat up from the bed and slightly bowed to the doctor whose presence in the room served no comfort but brought more pain to those in the room.  She could barely choked out her words of thanks for the doctor's efforts before she joined Doojoon on the sofa, grieving and dissolving in tears into his shoulders.    Junhyung was still hugging Yoseob tightly, unwilling to let go because he knew that by letting go, it finalizes the goodbye.      And he wasn't ready for that.     For the last goodbye.      "Sir, I'm really sorry but I would have to do a quick and thorough check on the patient," the doctor urged gently.   Junhyung continued weeping into the pillow, his head beside Yoseob's, face down and eyes tightly shut. This was a reality that he did not want to accept, a reality that he did not want to materialize.  Saying his words of goodbye was apparently not the hardest as he thought it would be.  It was facing the future without Yoseob beside him that killed him.  The cutting anguish that was tearing him apart slashed him over and over again as he tried to cope with the loss.    The doctor sighed and shook Junhyung on the shoulders, "I really have to check on him right now, Sir. If you could just open your eyes and look at him."   Junhyung shook his head, rejecting it all.  He didn't want to open his eyes to face the truth. He didn't want to stop hugging Yoseob whose face might be cold from the cool room but whose body was still radiating a comforting warmth.  He didn't want to let the doctor do his final check and to give the final judgement call.    All he wanted was for Yoseob to be fine and well, beside him.    "Ya..stop being a brat and let the doctor check on me...."   The voice.. It was weak, it was soft but oh how much had he been waiting and hoping to hear the voice.  Junhyung jerked upwards and sat up immediately, staring at Yoseob who was smiling tenderly at him with eyes slightly open.   Kikwang and Gayoon gasped while Doojoon and Yoseob's mother immediately stood up and ran to his side.    Junhyung reached for Yoseob's face with trembling fingers and him gently, afraid that this was all a dream, afraid that everything was going to come to an end soon.   Yoseob's smile broadened and he gave a little laugh, "I'm real, I'm awake."   A sob escaped from his throat as he lunged towards Yoseob, gathering in his arms.  "Pabo ya! How could you make me wait!"   Yoseob's eyes crinkled at the pouting man, smiling into the luscious bed of hair, "to quote you...by 5 minutes only, no biggie~"   Junhyung laughed, the first time he had in days, and propped himself up slightly before leaning in for a kiss.    Yoseob sighed at the contact as he felt the fireworks exploding in him once again.  Oh how he had missed it so much.  Oh how different it was from the kiss with Woohyun.  Oh how magical this was...   "Ahem, I love watching this but I think the doctor really has to check on Seobie to make sure he's completely fine."   "Mum!!!!"   "Yes son, I'm awake. We will catch up later okay? Let the doctor do his check on you. You're deathly pale and no, Junhyung's kiss is not good enough a medicine. You're not sleeping beauty."   Yoseob and Junhyung snickered as they reluctantly parted and the doctor moved in to do his relevant checks.   As everyone exited the room, Junhyung turned his head and his eyes met Yoseob's. They both smiled and as he left the room, he realized how much lighter he felt and that probably nothing else in this world can make him feel so lucky and so grateful.      ---------   After the doctor's check, Yoseob had a long talk with his mother before she was advised to return to her ward to rest.    Doojoon, Gayoon and Kikwang all sat by Yoseob's bed and stared accusingly at him.   "Ya! Was it fun to listen to us cry and go wild while you're sleeping?" Doojoon poked Yosoeb's head softly.   "Well.. I wasn't really aware of what was going on so you can't blame me~" Yoseob teased in a sing song voice.   "Oppa! We really thought you were never going to wake up you know! How could someone sleep for so long and wake up 5 minutes right after the end of the countdown all fine and happy!
