(Tao's perspective)

I couldn't even get more than two steps out of chemistry class without being harassed by Baekhyun and his idiotic followers. By the time he yanked onto my hair I knew I was already doomed. I could feel that uncomfortable lump building in my throat signaling that I was going to cry like the baby I probably was, but I decided not to give them that satisfaction to hold over me. I defended myself as best I could as they spit on me and called me homophobic slurs, boy? Really? Byun Baekhyun might be a strait A student but he needs to come up with better insults. After enduring a couple more seconds of abuse I decided to make a run for it, only to fall again on my face dammit Zitao, you deserve everything you get from them.

I tried my best to swallow my tears but I felt my tear ducts overflow as I heard the infuriating cackles that could only belong to that ignoramus and his equally stupid companions. I quickly pushed my way through the crowd of hungry highschoolers to the nearest boys restroom, I locked myself into the stall and let myself become unwound, I let out all of the pent up sadness and anger I had through ugly sobs, not caring about who could hear. After a couple of minutes, I quickly regrouped myself, wiping my tears and straitening my school uniform. I looked in the mirror to make sure I had erased any clues that I had been crying and quickly made my way to meet my friends, Chen and Xiumin.

I made my way to the usual spot my two friends and I ate lunch at (outside at the wooden picnic table at the very edge of the school grounds). We had sat here to eat lunch since the second day of 9th grade, when we discovered we were safe here from the tyrants we faced during class hours.
