My heart lurched when Mr. Wu ordered us to find our project partners. I stared down at my hands until I was met by and obviously embarrassed Baekhyun. His face was so red he looked like a tomato,

"Tao I just wanted to say that I'm sor-" I shook my head, he was doing it, he was bringing up the subject that I was trying so desperately to forget,

"Lets just forget about that whole situation, okay?" I looked into his eyes, trying to get my point across, but it only partially worked because as soon as I said that Baekhyun replied with an,

"Alright, panda!" Wait what? Where did that come from? I smacked his arm

"What are you talking about?" 

"Your under eye circles, you look like a panda!" He giggled, I covered my face with my hands, suddenly self-consious.

I was relieved to see that we hardly had any work left because we had gotten a lot of work done at Baekhyun's(even though something unspeakable happened). We ended up sitting with nothing to do so naturally Baekhyun started up a conversation. We talked for the whole class period and it turned out that Baekhyun and I had a pretty good amount in common. We laughed about the stupid things we did together as children and even shared some of our personal interests. I was taken aback when Baekhyun shared that he was actually a huge fan of the group Girls Generation, and I thought I was weird for reading Sailor moon. I even recommended some animes for him to watch, though I highly doubted he would actually watch any of them, but it was fun to try.

After class ended I made my way to sit with Chen and Xiumin, when I got there they were acting so couple-y, I had to resist the urge to gag,

"Come on guys really? Why do you have to kiss in front of me? You can do that type of stuff when you are alone," I griped, pulling out my lunch box,

"Ah, I'm so sorry Tao we'll try not to do that around you," Xiumin apologized very sincerely, but Chen was not so considerate, Instead of apologizing he eyed my lunch,

"Hey is that rice cake? Yumm," Chen gabbed a rice cake from my lunch, not even bothering to ask,

"Hey get your own," I swatted him away as he reached for another.

"Please Tao?" Chen begged, trying to convince me by acting cute,

"Are you seriously trying to do aegyo?" I questioned him jokingly,

"Is it working, hyung?" He batted his eyelashes, I gave him another, not because I fell for his aegyo, but because it was such a funny sight,

"You are hilarious sometimes, Chen," I chuckled,

"Why are you acting so bubbly today? Did something happen?" Chen cocked an eyebrow at me,

"Not really, I guess I'm in a better mood because I'm pretty much finished with that chemistry project Mr. Wu assigned,"

"Oh really how is Baekhyun acting towards you? Is he making you do it  alone?" Xiumin inquired,

"No, actually he's stopped taunting me and he's been really helpful, I don't really know what's gotten into him, but I'm so glad he's not being mean to me anymore," I decided not to bring up the unspeakable event, I was probably only going to tell my mom about it, maybe not even her.

"Oh wow that's good, I wonder what's up with him," Xiumin responded.

The rest of the day I could barely pay attention because I kept thinking about Baekhyun and how we talked this morning. It was as if we'd never really stopped being friends, there wasn't ever an awkward silence during the full conversation, I wonder if I was right? Maybe Baekhyun really does like me. Do I like him back?

When Chen dove me home after school I sat in the back of his KIA, I didn't mind having to squeeze into the back seat this time, I just let him and Xiumin talk as I drowned in my thoughts. When I walked into my house I slipped off my shoes and went to my mom who was sitting in the dining room, reading a magazine,

"Umma? Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Oh Zitao your home, yes of course. What about?"

"Uh so I think I already told you about how Baekhyun has started being kind to me," I looked to her and she nodded as confirmation, "Okay, so when I went to his house to work on the project," I paused and I saw the look of pure fear on my mother's face, God what did she think I was going to tell her? I continued, "So, after we were finished with everything Baekhyun asked me why I had been so sad lately, wait have I been acting sad lately?" I asked her,

"Not really, that is just your personality is, but can see why he would think you've been acting sad," She answered,

"Okay, well after that he started mumbling to himself and he started to get frustrated and he," I swallowed, nervous to continue, "Baekhyun, he kissed me-" Just as I uttered those words Luhan came barging through the front door, 

"Hey umma?" He froze when he realized we were talking, what a moron, "Should I come back later?" My mom just nodded, and Luhan dashed upstairs to his room, once the coast was clear my mom spoke up,

"What?! What did you do? Are you alright?" She sounded urgent,

"Yes I am fine, umma, but today when we worked in chemistry we talked about some stuff and we found out we like a lot of the same things, umma I think he might have a crush on me,"

"Well do you feel the same way?" She asked, eyes widening,

"That's what I am confused about, I really enjoyed talking to him and I keep thinking about the kiss, but he was so mean to me, how could I love him after knowing how ugly he can be?"

"You have a good point, I can't really choose for you, but I think that you should think through everything and then decide quickly so that you don't cause yourself or Baekhyun any more stress," 

"You're right umma, I will," I smiled and kissed her on the cheek and went up to my room I sprawled out onto my bed, smelling my scent on the pillow. I realized how exhausted I was, probably from the lack of sleep from the night before, even though it was only around 4:00 and my parents hadn't even started dinner yet I let my eyes flutter shut.

"Hello Tao," Baekhyun mumbled sweetly, he was sitting next to me on my bed, my hair, "I was waiting for you to wake up, sleepy head!" he said, kissing my forehead. I sat there unblinking, my stomach turning and my mind racing, "Are you okay Taozi? You look confused,"

"No I-I'm fine, still a little sleepy I guess," I reassured him,

"Okay well you can go back to sleep if you are too tired," He smiled at me,

"No I think I will just lay in bed for a little bit longer," I answered

"Well can I lay with you?" He looked down at me, I just scooted over in response. It was as if I wasn't in control of my actions, my body felt numb, but my senses came alive as he slipped under the covers and pressed his body against mine, he woke up nerve endings that I hadn't even known existed on my body, I felt amazing as he nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, I held his cute frame against m
