Tiffany's mouth opened by itself. What? Her mind was scrambling right now. Wait...is it really this easy? Just like this, and then the bet's over for me? Wow...

 

On the other hand, Taeyeon stood in front of Tiffany nervously. Was it too quick to ask her out?

 

"Y-yes! I'll go out with you!" Tiffany said with a high pitched voice.

 

Taeyeon pretended to stumble back in shock. "R-really?"

 

Tiffany nodded. 

 

"Asa! Tiffany said yes! She said yes!"

 

Tiffany couldn't help but to chuckle at her cuteness. "If you want to go out for dates or something, I'm really sorry. I'm really busy right now, and I don't have much time on my hands." she lied.

 

Taeyeon could see right through the lie, but didn't mind. She didn't want to spend time with Tiffany either. "Oh, that's fine. I'm just happy you agreed to date me!" she beamed.

 

Jessica smiled at the sight. "You're really cute." she remarked.

 

A red color quickly filled Taeyeon's cheeks. "O- oh, thank you." she managed to say.

 

"Ha, no problem. Anyways, sorry for taking your girlfriend away, but we don't have much time to be here." she said apologetically.

 

"It's fine! There's always next time, right?"

 

"Yeah. See you around Taeyeonie!" Tiffany said as she was being dragged by Jessica.

 

"Bye.." Taeyeon waved half heartedly. Now that she was officially dating Tiffany, she could just wait for a few weeks for Tiffany to cut it off. All was going well. 

 

Group chat:

Taeyeon: She said yes!

Yoonggiee: Of course..

Yul: Well..congrats. ur first gf

Soo: nu uh. She's just a fake gf. So no, tae hasn't had a gf yet ok

Yul: .....sure....

Hyo: we shuld go out to an arcade or smtng tonite and celebrate the house faires first gf

Taeyeon: tf hyo?

Seob: language, taeyeon

Taeyeon: but i didnt do anything?

Seob: u implied it.

Taeyeon: ok mom

Hyo: arcade...tonight at 7

Taeyeon: sure

soo: ok, but ur picking us up

Yoonggiee: yeah

Hyo: >.< why are yall so high mantainence?

Yul: hey ur the one that wants to go

Hyo: ok ok ok ok..ill pick all of u up from taes house

Seob: Sounds good *thumbs up emoji*

Soo: "*thumbs up emoji*" tf?

Seob: I can't find it..so i just typed it ok

Taeyeon: Yahh...why didn't you call soo out for language? u hav favorites now?

Seob: oohh..thanks for reminding me. sooyoung...no foul language ok?

Soo: damn it tae

Seob: LANGUAGE!

Taeyeon: *Inserts evil laugh*

Yul: u dont have a evil laugh tho

Taeyeon: So? its called IMAGiNATION

Taeyeon: That was the bell. see u

Yoonggiee: *sob* byeee

 

Taeyeon stiffled a laugh and walked to her next class, vocal training. She was secretly dreading this calss, because from now on, she would have to sing badly on purpose. A sigh escaped her lips. One month to go, and then she'll be free to do as she pleases.

 

"No.1, huh? I guess God has to give everybody something..." A random student remarked.

 

As usual Taeyeon gave no reaction. She simply lowered her head even more and briskly headed toward her seat located at the back corner of the classroom, where no one would disturb her.

 

"Good afternoon." The teacher said.

 

"Good afternoon.." The class droned back.

 

Ignoring her student's lack of enthusiasm, the teacher started passing out some sheet music to everyone. "This is the first piece we'll be singing at the winter concert. You may have noticed this already, but there's a solo part."

 

"Solo?"

 

"Who's going to get it?"

 

"Are there any other solo parts?"

 

"Wow..wish it could be me.."

 

The teacher sushed everyone up an continued. "Now, I would usually pick the solo based on the class ranking, but this year, I'll be holding a blind audition after school, a week from now. Anyone interested in the solo should come. Now, I'll give you this class period to practice the music by yourselves, and tommorrow, we'll start working on it."

 

Taeyeon's mind started spinning it's gears. Why did the teacher suddenly change the way solo's would be picked? It could just be a simple reason, like she wanted a change, but Taeyeon could sense it was something else. Suddenly, it dawned on her. The teacher obviously wouldn't want a student like her to have the spotlight and be the main person of the concert when the audience was going to have some recruiters from different entertainment agencies, rich students, and just people in general that want something aesthetically pleasing to watch.

 

She gritted her teeth. She was already sick of the shallowness some people could have. Even the teachers. Right at that moment, Kim Taeyeon decided that she was going to show the whole school how pathetic they were when she revealed herself with a bang. That's right. Kim Taeyeon didn't lose her temper often, but when she does, it's not something anyone would want to face.

 

"Hello? Earth to Taeyeon?" Taeyeon quickly looked up. She had been lost in her own little world for too long.

 

"So..I was wondering if you wanted to practice together right now?" Tiffany asked as she sat right next to Taeyeon, shoulders touching. Taeyeon felt a little uncomfortable and looked up. No wonder, the whole class was looking at them.

 

Tiffany shifted uncomfortably when Taeyeon wasn't answering. "You know..since we're dating and all.."

 

At that sentence, the class was driven into a frenzy of whispers that Taeyeon could hear. What's with people and not being able to lower their freaking voices?

 

"What."

 

"Is she kidding?"

 

"This isn't real."

 

"Is she a witch or something? First she's working with the Queens, and now she's dating a princess?"

 

"She needs to learn a lesson now.."

 

Suddenly an all too familiar voice spoke up. It was Hyoyeon. "So what if they're dating? Mind you're own business. You're just jealous you're not better than that loser, aren't you?" And then she sat down as if nothing had happened, chatting with her friends.

 

The class fell silent. The Queen had spoken, and they were back to acting as if nothing had happened. Tiffany gave a sorry smile to Taeyeon. "Sorry" she whispered.

 

"It's alright" she replied. "Let's just get back to practicing, alright?"

 

"Sure!" Tiffany said, showing her eyesmile. Taeyeon couldn't help but stare.

"Where the heck are they??" Yuri asked, pacing back and forth in Taeyeon's living room. Hyoyeon said she was going to pick them up by 7, and she was already 30 minutes late.

 

"Seohyun isn't here either" Yoona commented "And she's never late."

 

"We're here!" Hyoyeon called, panting hard with Seohyun following her.

 

"...why are you so late?" Sooyoung asked impaciently. "Do you know how long we've waited?"

 

"Hey hey hey" Hyoyeon defended, raising her hands. "Don't blame me, it's Seohyun's fault!"

 

"Right. Hey, did you know? The sun rose from the west today too."

 

"Really!" Hyoyeon protested. "My car ran out of gas so I walked to Seohyun's and she was still at her house, so we walked here together. BUT, when we were walking, we passed by this creek, and Seohyun really liked the sound of the water and the birds chirping along with it, so she started recording it for like 20 minutes, and then after she was satisfied, we walked here."

 

"You know you can just download it from youtube.."

 

"Yeah, but it's illegal.."

 

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

 

"Ahem..you can use my car then Hyo" Taeyeon said, breaking the silence.

 

"I was going to anyways."

 

"...ok then. Let's go."

 

"Are you just going to bring the cough mask? And you also have makeup on?" Hyoyeon asked, confused.

 

"Yeah. Nobody really knows me with my makeup anyways."

 

"Ok, makes sense." Hyoyeon said as the group was boarding Taeyeon's car.

 

"Hey guys. Can I drive instead?" Sooyoung asked suddenly.

 

"NO!" Everyone exclaimed at the same time.

 

"Why? It's not like I'm that bad, right?" Sooyoung whined.

 

"Yes you are." Taeyeon whispered.

 

"No I'm not."

 

"Yes you are."

 

"Am not."

 

Taeyeon gave up. She didn't have the energy to convince Sooyoung that her driving was absolutely horrible. "You know what, next time we go on a road trip, or just to have fun, you drive, and see how much money we loose to the police again."

 

Sooyoung, oblivious to the sarcasm, agreed. The rest of the car's occupants could only tremble in fear at the prospect of Sooyoung driving for a few hours.

 

"...anndd we're here." Hyoyeon said as they pulled into the parking lot of an arcade. "What to y'all wanna play first?"

 

"Soccer!" Yoona yelled as she ran toward to soccer machines.

 

"Sure. We'll play two on two, using these three machines. Tournament style." Yuri responded.

 

After round one, Taeyeon, Sooyoung, and Yoona were eliminated. The three remaining players played rock paper scissors to see who got a free pass. Yuri won, and advanced to the finals.

 

"Seohyun's going to win." Sooyoung predicted.

 

"What? No way." Yuri protested. "I'm the most athletic out of everyone in this tournament."

 

"So?" Sooyoung argued "This is about tatical stuff and planning and all that. Seohyun's good at that." 

 

True to Sooyoung's prediction, Seohyun won the soccor match. "Let's go to a fighting game!" Taeyeon suggested. "Same tournament style."

 

"Sure." Yuri agreed. "I'm going to win this time. For sure."

 

"Wanna bet on that?" Sooyoung asked teasingly.

 

"Fine. No, I'm not." Yuri said, pouting slightly. "How is Seohyun so good at these?"

 

"I could call Sunny here and have her leave us all in the dust." Taeyeon suggested.

 

"But she's like a pro gamer by now. It's not fair..." Seohyun said.

 

"She's not that good..."

 

"Yeah? Have you shared a room with her before?" .Taeyeon challenged. "That girl makes 'pew pew pew' sounds in her sleep! Video game noises! Do you know how creepy it actually sounds?"

 

"No, but okay. Let's start!" Yoona said eagerly. Seohyun won again, to nobody's suprise. The girls went to various games for the next two hours, enjoying the childish activity.

 

"We've been here for over two hours by now." Yoona whispered to Taeyeon. "Want to ditch?"

 

"And go where?" Taeyeon asked, amused.

 

Yoona shrugged. "Anywhere. We can just walk along the streets and go eat at food stalls and all that stuff,"

 

Taeyeon took a look at the others. They were all too engrossed with their games. "Alright." she consented. "Let's go wander the streets of Seoul for street food."

 

Yoona smiled childishly and linked her arms with Taeyeon. "You don't go out and eat a lot right?"

 

"Yeah."

 

"There's this really cool meat stall that gives you free food if you perform something." Yoona said, obviously wanting to go there.

 

"And you want me to sing, don't you, you rich brat."

 

"Uhh...if you don't want to sing, dance?" Yoona asked hopefully.

 

"Only if you do it with me."

 

"What?!" Yoona asked, shocked. "I-I can't dance anymore."

 

"Don't be silly. We can perform that old routine you choreographed before." After a pause, Taeyeon added "You still remember it, right?"

 

"Of course! I'm just...shy. Yeah. That's it."

 

"Ok, well free food is better than being shy about an awesome performance right?"

 

"You know what, let's just buy the food like normal people."

 

"Nope." Taeyeon said with a twinkle in her eye. "You already said it, you can't take it back!"

 

Yoona glared at Taeyeon. "Fine. But you're going to have to pay me back somehow."

 

"Fine with me." Taeyeon said. "As long as you dance."

 

Yoona didn't respond to that and pulled Taeyeon over to a pretty big area considereing it was a food stall. "Excuse me but do you stilll offer that performance discount thing?" She asked the owner.

 

"Yes, we do. You get free food here depending on how well you perform."

 

"Ok. Can we use your sound system by any chance?" 

 

"Of course, just come over here" He said leading the two girls to a small stage at the middle of the stall area. "What'll you guys be performing?"

 

"Oh just a little dance routine." Taeyeon answered.

 

"Alright. Let me announce it to our customers." He cleared his throat and picked up a microphone. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, we have two performers here tonight to perform a dance number. Please cheer them on!"

 

The few customers clapped, not expecting much. The music started, and Taeyeon and Yoona started dancing to the familiar routine. The bartender and few customers looked at them in awe. They didn't expect such a high class performance in a street stall. Pretty soon, a small crowd started forming, watching the two girls dance in perfect synchronization. Once they were done, a thunderous applause greeted them. Some people were even taking fancams.

 

"Thank you!" The girls repeated over and over again, bowing to the crowd.

 

"So do we get our free food now?" Yoona asked jokingly.

 

"Of course! Order whatever you like! That was amazing, by the way." The owner gushed.

 

Taeyeon and Yoona bowed at him. "Thank you."

 

"No problem. Enjoy your night!" He said, sliding themt the food.

 

"We will. Thanks!" Taeyeon said. Turning back to Yoona, she asked "Now that wasn't too bad, was it?"

 

"No, not at all." Yoona responded with a smile. "We should do this again."

 

"We should. Maybe Hyoyeon and Yuri can join us next time."

 

"Ooh good idea! It'll be fun."

 

"Yeah. Do you think they noticed yet?"

 

"Noticed what?" Yoona asked, head tilted to the side.

 

"That we ditched."

 

"Probably." She answered, and they both laughed.

 

 

On the other hand...

 

"Did they seriously ditch us?" Hyoyeon grumbled.

 

"What?" Seohyun, Sooyoung and Yuri asked, playing against each other on a game.

 

"Yoontae ditched us."

 

"That's cool."

 

"..."

 

"Good, Hyo."

 

"You guys aren't even listening are you?"

Update no. 1 before my leave. Didn't study for my math test for this update lol...it's 1 am now..so writing might also be affected. At least for the last part.

I'll be editing the previous chapters a bit too, since they were written 1-2 years ago, and my writing has gotton better since then (hopefully..)
