When both you and Jimin were cleaned up Namjoon finally told you what you would be doing that day

“For now you’ll be helping and learning with Hoseok, then later you’ll be going in the club with Jin.”

You nodded and followed Hoseok out the door while everyone left to do their own errands.

“My work is probably the most dangerous out of everyone’s. So you’re going to have to be extra careful.” Hoseok explained with a smile as he led you into a room two doors down from the main room

“Alright.” You breathed out, still tired from the previous brawl

The room was more different than you expected. There were shelves and shelves of different chemicals, solutions and boxes. Each had a label and there were locks on some of them as well.

“Well. Welcome to my humble abode. It’s only dangerous never!” Hoseok laughed as he sat down at the desk

“We’re together for the next couple of hours. You’ll be watching me work and getting me things when I need and occasionally help me mix.” He instructed as he began to pick up things around his desk

“I’m fine with that.” You went closer to his desk

Hoseok looked up at you in surprise, “Oh no no no no. You aren’t standing here with no protection.”

He put his mask back on and grabbed a chair that was leaning on the wall and placed it about 5 meters away from his desk.

“You sit here. If anything explodes you can say goodbye if you’re sitting that close.”

Your eyes widened as you sat down, “What about you? All you have is a mask?”

Hoseok laughed, “This is made of material to protect me. I’m fine. But now, I have to get one made for you. Don’t worry I’ll get that done so you can help me properly.”

You made a sound of agreement as Hoseok picked up a few things and went back to the desk and started working

Sitting quietly while Hoseok worked made you feel extremely useless and bored. You were grateful, however, for actually being able to sit down

“___, can you go to the shelf on my extreme right and grab the bottle that says Iodine on it.”

“Okay.” You got up and walked to the shelf he mentioned. After scanning it for a couple of seconds you finally found it. There was a problem though.

It was too high up. You looked back at Hoseok who was focused in his work, then looked around you to find a stepping stool for some height. You couldn’t find it so you went back and picked up your chair bringing it to the stop and carefully stepping on

The bottle was closer now so you reached out to get it

“What are you doing ___?” You heard Hoseok’s voice right behind you making you jump

You turned too fast and lost your footing making you fall and drop the bottle

“___!” You felt Hoseok catch you

You looked up at him, “S-sorry.”

The mask on Hoseok’s face pretty much covered his entire face so you couldn’t tell what his expression was, but his eyes were definitely unimpressed

“Be careful.” Was all he said as he put you down.

You almost breathed a sigh of relief then realized you weren’t holding the bottle

“The bottle!” You looked all around you but didn’t see it

“Right here.” You looked at Hoseok who was already at his desk with the bottle in his hand

“Phew.” You picked up your chair and went back to the spot from before. Hoseok was definitely different when he worked you noticed. His usual happy and mischievous self was nowhere to be seen and was replaced by a focused and cold person.

“The stepping stool is beside my desk.” You looked up at him, “For the future.” He finished and you heard a small chuckle

You laughed with him as you sat down. The next hour or so was spent in mutual silence as Hoseok worked on whatever it was he was working on. There were some points he told you and what he was doing but that was it

“Can I ask you some questions?” You finally said after being quiet for too long

“Depends. What kind of questions?” Hoseok answered

You thought for a moment, “About you? You and the others?”

Hoseok paused his work and looked at you, “What do you want to know?”

You smiled, “Tell me about yourself. What you like. Dislike. How you became a part of this gang. Stuff like that. If I’m stuck here, I should at least know who I’m working with right?”

“Those are easy questions. Well you know my name. Hoseok, I’m 22. I like my job, working with chemicals, my team and a good one night stand sometimes. Dislike? When people interfere with my work, get my team injured, a girl saying no to a one night stand.” Hoseok answered your questions with an innocent smile

You laughed at his answers and let him continue

“I joined the gang, well made it, with Namjoon. We’re early high school friends. After us, we added in the other guys one by one. Only Taehyung and Jimin came together. Anything else?”

“What about the others? How did they join?” You asked on leaning forward

Hoseok smiled, “Well we got Jin when we came to Triptych to have fun, me and Namjoon, he joined fairly easily. I think he just wanted something different. Yoongi came next. Me and Jin were out when we saw him in a fight and decided to help him. He also joined easily. Getting the last three boys, also the three youngest, was harder. Taehyung and Jimin had a difficult time in their past, which I won’t talk about, so they wouldn’t trust us so easily. Jungkook was the same and he was last. Recent too.”

You listened to Hoseok talking, thinking about each boy as he mentioned them. You couldn’t believe Taehyung had a hard time, he was too happy. But then again, so did you and you covered it up too

When Hoseok finished another question popped up in your head

“How old is everyone?”

Hoseok thought for a moment, “Jin’s the oldest, he’s 24. Then Yoongi, 23. Namjoon and I are 22, then Jimin and Taehyung who are 21.”

“And Jungkook?” You asked when he stopped talking

“17.” He finally answered

Your eyes widened in shock, “He’s so young! And was even younger when he joined I’m sure!”

Hoseok rubbed his head, “Yeah, it’s shocking. He’s talented though and very dedicated.”

You closed your eyes as you thought of him, “He’s so distant and quiet.”

“He’s always been like that. He’s close to Jin, Jimin and Taehyung the most.”

You opened your eyes and looked at Hoseok, “His past?”

He shook his head, “Not my place to tell you. You’ll have to ask him, but only when you have his trust. Which can take very, very long. Took me 2 years.”

You gasped quietly

“Jimin’s the same. His past made him quiet and distant. He’s only close to Taehyung and Jungkook though. The rest of us he just listens to.”

You opened your mouth to say something but the door opened to Jungkook

“Boss says it’s time to switch to Jin.” He relayed his message and stood there

“Wow it’s been that long?” Hoseok got up and checked the time, “I thought it had only been an hour!”

You laughed and got up too. Hoseok walked over to you and patted your back with one hand as he took of his mask with his other, “It was nice having you in here, even though you almost messed up.”

You smiled, “It was fun, even though I didn’t do anything particularly useful.”

Hoseok laughed as you walked to Jungkook with the smile still on your face, “Lets go?”

He nodded as you followed him out

On your way up you wanted to make a conversation with Jungkook but you just couldn’t. The feeling that he gave off made you keep your mouth shut. You thought about what both Namjoon and Hoseok said about him

You ended up watching his back the entire time you two walked.

Jungkook led you upstairs and into another hallway beside the room you were first interrogated in yesterday. This new hallway was dark with neon lights and sparked your interest

“Are we going to the club?” You voiced your thoughts

You saw Jungkook nod his head

“Okay.” You answered, a bright smile on your face

You two turned into another hallway and then came up to a door. Jungkook opened it and all you saw was light. Different coloured light and people

“Ah, ___!” You turned your head to the right as you walked in

You saw Jin walking up to you with a smile on his face, “Took you long enough.”

You smiled back at him and noticed Jimin behind him

“Well then, we have work to do today so I’m going to need you to doll yourself up. Jimin.”

You raised your eyebrow when Jimin came forward, a box in his hold

“There’s a bathroom that way. Change and comeback. I have a mission for you.” You looked at Jin’s smiling face and nodded

In the bathroom you gasped when you opened the box

The dress was golden and way too revealing. You held it up to inspect it

There was no back. Actually, there was barely any material

You sighed and put it on, “This is a club, a damn high class club. Might as well go for it.” You mumbled as you fit your bum through and fixed it

You slapped your forehead when you looked in the mirror. The dress had no back and the only thing covering your s was a bunch of cloth connected from the skirt and looped around your neck. Everything except your bum, womanhood and s was showing.

Shaking your head you looked back into the box to find some makeup and a comb. You applied the makeup and combed your hair, fixing it up to match the dress then put the shoes on from the box and walked out

As much as you didn’t want to admit it, you were embarrassed.

Whoever you passed whistled at you and tried to get your attention but you ignored them

When you got back to Jin you hit him on the head with as much force as you could

“You didn’t find anything more revealing!? You should have just told me to come in my undergarments!”

Jin turned around and started laughing, “You look hot! This is perfectly fine!”

You humphed and crossed your arms, “I’ll get you back. So what are we doing?” You spoke as you looked around.

“Well. The person that ordered the men who attacked Taehyung the other night is here today. He thinks we’re going to negotiate with him, but we’re actually going to kill him.”

You looked back at Jin not too surprised, “And what do you want me to do?”

Jin looked at you and smirked, “Lure him in.”
