You woke up to a cool breeze making your skin jump in goosebumps

“Good morning.”

You opened your eyes and saw a smiling Taehyung

“Good morning.” You smiled as you sat up, “Why is the window open?”

Taehyung got out of bed and shut the window, “You kicked off the blankets at night, so I thought opening the window would help.”

You bit your lip to hide your growing smile

“Jin’s making breakfast, wash up and come out.” Taehyung kissed your head and left the room

You watched the door close and let out a shaky breath. It had been two weeks since Taehyung came back and everyone was walking on eggshells around him.

He was better and all the other boys agreed too

“___! Breakfast!” Jimin’s loud voice broke your thoughts and you jumped out of bed

“I’m thinking of heading back to the club.” Namjoon spoke up a couple of days later

“It has been a while.” Yoongi smiled as he looked around room

“Are we all ready to go back?” Jin asked pointing his gaze at Jimin and Taehyung

Both boys nodded

“I guess that’s it then. We’re going back.” Hoseok laughed

“No work for the time being until everything is properly looked after.” Namjoon confirmed and stood up

“Let’s pack up whatever we have and go back when we’re done.” You nodded at everyone and walked into your room with Taehyung right behind you

“You okay?” You asked him as you pulled out a duffel bag

“Yeah.” You heard him answer slowly

“Tae…” You walked over to him and put your arms around his waist

“I’m fine. Or at least I will be.” He sighed and put his hands on top of yours, “I know what I do, and I know that I can’t run away from it.”

You nodded into his back, “And you also know that we’re all here for you.”

Taehyung chuckled and rubbed your hand, “Don’t you have packing to do?”

“Not really, Jin bought me an entire closet remember. The stuff I have here is nothing compared to those brand name outfits.”

“True. Jin does have a small habit of spoiling us with the club money. I mean what else can he do with it.”

You thought for a moment, “I just realized something. You guys sell illegal drugs and other substances worth so much, yet I’ve never seen any of you use them.”

Taehyung laughed, “Its funny, but none of us like it. Yoongi has of course used them, a lot too, but he doesn’t like them either. Other than him, I think only Hoseok and Namjoon have used them on rare occasions.”

“Interesting.”

“We prefer getting pissed drunk to lost in the clouds.”

You stuffed Taehyung’s clothes into the bag and laughed, “At least you don’t like shooting people’s heads off to have fun. Most gangs do that instead of either of those.”

Taehyung laughed too, “Or all three.”

“Namjoon’s got the car ready downstairs.” Jungkook popped his head into the room

You nodded, “We’re done.”

Taehyung picked up the duffel bag and the two of you left the room

“Everyone have everything?” Jin asked by the door

There were a series of agreements and everyone filed out the door

You locked the door and followed behind

I’m sitting beside ___.” Jungkook grabbed your arm

“So am I!” Hoseok grabbed your other arm before anyone else could

“Heyyyy.” You heard Taehyung whine from behind you

You laughed and let the two of them drag you to the car.

The ride back to the club was full of chatter and you smiled to yourself at the warmth in the car. You felt at home with the boys. A home you never had since you were a child.

You laughed to yourself at the thought of the boys being family

“What are you smiling at?” Hoseok poked your cheek

You laughed out loud, “The thought of you guys as a family.”

“What do you mean by that? We’re not that bad.” Jungkook pouted at you

You smiled towards the front, “No, not in a bad way. I was just thinking about how motherly Jin is, how fatherly Namjoon is. Everyone has a role. Jungkook is the rebel son, Hoseok is the brother that always annoys everyone because he’s always too happy, Yoongi is the brother that keeps everyone in check and acts like he’s bored but still loves everyone, Jimin and Taehyung are the two troublemakers, as well as my brother and boyfriend. It’s just funny because it’s almost normal.”

You finished talking and left the car in silence

“I am not motherly.” Jin accused after the moment of silence causing the car to break out in laughter

“Well that’s as normal as we can get.” Namjoon agreed and focused back on driving

You smiled and leaned your head on Jungkook’s shoulder

“I am not a rebel son, thank you very much.” You heard Jungkook whisper into your ear before you fell asleep

“Wow it needs to be cleaned in here.” Jin threw his bag down and coughed

“How about we start by opening the windows.” Hoseok walked in after him with his face covered

You walked to your room and aired it out by opening the window

You stared into the forest behind the club while thinking about your situation

“Whatchu thinking about?” You heard someone ask from behind you

“Nothing.” You smiled and leaned against the window

“I can hear you thinking from my room.”

You smiled at Jimin as he walked up beside you

“Just, everything. As weird as it is, I like how everything is.”

“Me too.”

“I don’t have anything to do in my room, you need any help?” You pushed off the window and closed it

“Not really, but I think we should get the hallways and rooms downstairs cleaned up.”

You hummed in agreement before following Jimin out of your room

The gang spent the next couple of hours cleaning up the club and back rooms while you jumped from different jobs to help everyone

“When do you plan on opening up again?” You asked Namjoon as you finished up dusting the table in the meeting room

“I was thinking within the next two days. I have to make sure that we’re one hundred percent out of someone’s target. I’m not letting the boys get hurt like that again.”

You nodded and turned to walk out of the room

“Hey ___.”

“Yeah?” You looked over your shoulder

Namjoon smiled shyly, “Thank you.”

You raised an eyebrow

He rubbed the back of his head, “For everything.”

You smiled, “No… Thank you Namjoon.”

He raised his eyebrows as well and you chuckled, “For giving me a family.”

“This place hasn’t ever looked this good.” Yoongi nodded proudly as he sat down at the kitchen table

“Because we’ve never actually cleaned it.” Jin laughed as he put down a plate of food in the middle

“I’m so hungry. I don’t think I’ve ever been so hungry.” Jungkook groaned as he put a spoonful of rice into his mouth

You looked around the table and nodded as you followed his action

“So, I’ve been checking and making some calls and it seems that we’re in the clear. No one’s making plans to wipe us out.” Namjoon laughed under his breath, “At the moment at least.”

“So I can open the club?” Jin’s eyes shone

Namjoon nodded and Jin’s smile grew

“We’re back in business.” Hoseok laughed

Everyone nodded along and you gathered the dishes

“What do you plan on doing?” You felt arms wrap around your waist as you scrubbed leftovers off the plates

“Mmmm, I was thinking about taking a nap and then working out for a bit.” You sighed and leaned back

“Can I join you?”

You smiled, “Nope.”

There was a small gasp behind you and you laughed

“I’m waiting.” You heard faintly as Taehyung walked out of the kitchen

You quickly finished all the dishes some minutes later and walked to your room

“We can’t Joon, you know that.” You heard Jin’s voice and paused outside the meeting room

“I know, I know, but it’s for the best Jin.”

“You should also know that there won’t be an agreement.”

You raised your eyebrow and stood beside the door out of sight

“I’m going to try.” You heard Namjoon let out a frustrated sigh

“I’m going to be with you.” Jin spoke up after a moment of slience

“What? No, you can’t.”

“If I can’t talk you out of it, I’m going along.”

“Jin.”

“Namjoon.”

Another minute of silence

‘What’s going on?’  You bit your lip

“Fine.” Namjoon sighed again

“If this doesn’t go according to how you want, just know that I’m going to shoot someone’s head off.” Jin finished in a dangerous tone and you took it as a sign to scram

“What took you so long?” Taehyung smiled as you walked through the door

He was already comfortably snuggled inside your bed

You laughed at him and slid inside, “One of the plates wasn’t cooperating.”

“It was probably Jungkook’s.” Taehyung yawned and you saw a tired tear slide down his face

“I think it was yours.” You turned toward him and wrapped your arm along his stomach and snuggled your face on his shoulder

“Couldn’t be, I’m not a dirty eater.” He yawned again and his voice drifted off

You nodded instead of talking and closed your eyes
