You were on your way back to the club when your phone rang

“___! Where are you!? Are you okay? What about Taehyung?” You pulled the phone away when Yoongi screamed into it

“I’m almost home and I’m fine. Taehyung is…” You left the sentence hanging as you peeked over at the unconscious boy

“Taehyung is?” You heard Jimin’s voice

You sighed, “He’s alive.”

You heard multiple sighs of reliefs and smiled to yourself

“Anyway I’m almost back. Hoseok get your supplies ready, he’s bleeding heavily.”

“How bad are his wounds?” You heard Hoseok’s voice this time

“Bad enough that I can’t see any of them because of the blood.”

“Oh my God.”

You hummed into the phone as the club came into sight

“I’m here, someone come help me bring him in.”

You hung up and parked the car

When you got out you saw Jungkook waiting by the door

You waved him over

“Here grab his legs, I’m going to climb in and get his arms.”

Jungkook nodded and followed your instructions

You climbed into the car, ignored the squishing sounds because of the blood and squatted near Taehyung’s head

“Alright, one two three lift.” You called out

You picked up Taehyung’s arms when you felt Jungkook lift his legs

The two of you brought Taehyung in and set him down in Hoseok’s work room, all the boys crowding around

“ he’s hurt really bad, I don’t I can get him fixed in time.” Hoseok bit his lip as he stared at Taehyung’s body

“You did it once before, you can do it again.” Jimin walked closer

You moved back to give the boys room

“Hoseok.” Namjoon called out

Hoseok looked at Namjoon.

You caught the look in Namjoon’s eyes

“Hoseok you have to try your best.” Jungkook spoke up

Hoseok closed his eyes and put his head up

“I-I’ll try, but I’m going to be here a while and I need you all to leave.”

“Okay, we’ll leave. I’m going to come in tomorrow.” Namjoon said as he walked up to Hoseok and patted his shoulder, “You can do this. If anyone can it’s you.”

You watched the interaction then followed the boys out of the room and paused at the door and turned back to Hoseok

“If you can make me walk again in two weeks, I’m sure you can work a miracle here too Hoseok. I believe in you and so does everyone else. I’m sure Taehyung does too.” You smiled at him and left

You walked out of the room and saw all the boys staring at you

“How could you just run and do that?” Jin spoke up first

“I-“ You put your hands up

“What if you got hurt too? Who would help then?” Yoongi spoke next

“What?” You stared at him

“After you left Jungkook came running in caused a commotion.” Namjoon rolled his eyes

“So, I had to tell them what happened.” He continued and shrugged

You nodded your head

“That was brave of you ___.” You turned your head to Jimin

He was smiling softly, “Thank you.”

You flushed at his words and sputtered out a ‘you’re welcome’

“That was Taehyung calling when you ran out of practice wasn’t it?”

You nodded

“Thank you anyway ___. Rest up it’s only going to get worse now.” Yoongi spoke up a sad smile on his face

“Yeah.” You sighed

The boys patted you on the back and went their own way

“___ a word?” Namjoon called you and walked to his room

You followed him quietly

“That was some confidence ___.” Namjoon spoke up when you were situated in the meeting room

“I had to do it.”

Namjoon smiled fondly, “How did you not cry when you saw him?”

“I guess it was adrenaline. But honestly I didn’t have time since all I could think of was getting home before we both died.” You stared into his eyes

“I’m proud of you ___. I didn’t think you could be a part of this gang emotionally.”

“Huh?” You aked him dumbly

Namjoon chuckled, “I’m saying that you did a good job. I was testing you.”

You continued staring at him dumbly

Namjoon shook his head

“When I talked to you earlier in the week about being with Taehyung, I was testing you. I knew you had the remote and that Taehyung would ask you to press it. He told me himself. I wanted to test you to see if you should be an able girl for him.”

You blushed at his words

Namjoon smiled, “When you came to my room and told me you were going to get Taehyung instead of asking I knew that not only were you ready to be Taehyung’s but also an important part of the gang. So congratulations.”

Your eyes widened

“Go get some rest. I’m sure you got caught there and now the fight is only coming closer. You know this gang is Taehyung and Jimin’s past gang so they aren’t going to be easy.”

You nodded and stood up

“Thank you Namjoon.” You smiled at him and walked back to your room

After showering and getting into your bed you stared at the ceiling

You thought about what you did. It was an impulse, you wanted to save Taehyung and you ran out without even thinking twice

You bit your lip when you thought back to Taehyung’s wounds.

“Is this what it means to truly care about someone?” You asked no one in particular

You didn’t have anyone to care about your entire childhood. Your brother was the only one but he was gone.

You sat up when you remembered something.

You grabbed your locked and the lights

The pictures inside shined and you stared at your brother

His features making you confused more and more

“Why are you so familiar?” You asked him

After staring at the pictures with nothing coming to mind you gave up and lay down again

“Soon J. As soon as this fight is over I’m dedicating myself to finding you. I know you’re alive somewhere.”

When you woke up next it was the middle of the next day

You sat up and looked at the time. It was sometime after two pm

You shot out of bed and ran out the room all the way down to Hoseok’s.

Jungkook and Jimin were sitting outside and you walked up to them

“Hey.” You called out

The two looked up with weary smiles

“It’s almost three, good morning sleepy head.” Jungkook patted the area between him and Jimin

You sat down, gave Jungkook a playful nudge then looked at Jimin

“How’s he?”

Jimin shook his head, “Still out, and Hoseok’s still fixing him up. He was up all night.”

You bit your lip, “Can I go in?”

Jimin shrugged, “He told me and Jungkook to sit here and wait, but you can ask.”

You stood up and knocked

“I told you two to wait!” You heard Hoseok’s voice

“Uhm, no, it’s me ___.”

“Oh. Sorry ___, you can’t see him yet.”

You sighed and sat down again

“Do you know whose gang it was?” You asked Jimin cautiously

“Our old one. Namjoon told me.” He answered quietly

“You don’t seem angry?” Jungkook asked

Jimin laughed bitterly, “I am extremely angry right now. Probably my angriest in a long time, I’m just holding it in for the fight.”

Your eyes widened and you looked at Jungkook who seemed equally as shocked as you

You patted Jimin’s back lightly and closed your mouth until Hoseok called you guys in

Hoseok calling you guys happened some hours later after the three of you dozed off

“You didn’t have to actually wait in front of my room, I would have come and got you.” You opened your eyes to see an amused Hoseok standing at the doorway with Namjoon by his side

You stood up faster than your brain processed and jumped at him

“How is he?”

Hoseok smiled, “Fine. A little scarred here and there, but back to normal.”

Your eyes widened and you breathed a sigh of relief

“Is he awake?” You heard Jimin ask from behind you

Hoseok shook his head, “He’ll only wake up once the poison he injected wears off.”

“And how long do you think that’ll take?” Jungkook asked this time

“About a day, maybe two more?”

You sighed and leaned against the wall while closing your eyes

“Can we see him?” You heard Jungkook ask

“Yeah, you can see him now.”

You opened your eyes and saw Hoseok looking at Namjoon

“Hoseok and I are going to talk with some people for a bit.” Namjoon spoke

“Don’t destroy anything while I’m gone please.” Hoseok laughed as he walked off with Namjoon

You looked at Jimin and Jungkook then opened the door and walked in

You went near Taehyung’s head and looked at his sleeping face

“Thank God.” Jimin breathed out and sat down

You looked up to see him holding his head in his hands and Jungkook walking over to you

“He looks a lot better.”

You nodded and looked back at Taehyung, “Way better.”

“Hey you three.” Jin waved as he walked into the room and you smiled back at him

“How’s the trouble maker?”

“Doing fine.” Jungkook answered

Jin laughed, “That’s good. Namjoon texted me that you three should practice. The other gang is starting to move and we need to be prepared.”

“They’re already on the move? It hasn’t even been twenty-four hours yet!”

You looked at Jungkook whose expression was dark

Jin nodded, “They didn’t like ___ coming on their territory and getting out alive.”

You shivered

“I suggest you three go and get ready, I’ll stay with Taehyung.”

You nodded and walked out, Jimin and Jungkook right behind you

“Let’s practice with my weapons then.” Jungkook spoke up as he unlocked his door

Once inside, Jungkook looked through his guns, deciding which ones to give you and Jimin

“Here. It’s light and silent, something that would suit your fighting style.” Jungkook explained as he handed you a small and feathery light gun

You nodded

“Jimin, I’m giving you something bigger and bulkier, I know you like noisy and powerful guns.”

You looked up to see Jimin smiling knowingly at Jungkook as he was handed a very large gun

You three spent the next hours practicing with the guns Jungkook chose as well as others as back up. Jungkook had also showed you how to use some of his personal guns in case of a surprise attack

“I’m bummed. I didn’t know using guns like that was so hard.” You breathed out as you sat down in the kitchen with a glass of water

“Gang’s aren’t easy.” Jimin spoke from the other side of the table

You laughed and finished the water in one gulp, “I’m going to sleep. How about you?”

“I’m going to sit with Taehyung for a while.”

You smiled at Jimin, “Okay. I’ll see you in the morning then. Don’t forget to sleep a bit!”

Jimin smiled back, “I can’t lose to Taehyung of course I’m going to sleep.”
