"Kim Jihyun." Called one of the directors of the audition. 

Jinhyun's head shot out of her hands to look at the director, making her slightly dizzy. She slowly stood up and took a moment to straighten her uniform skirt. She had snuck out of school just to come here. She couldn't just let this opportunity slide by without even trying. She swiftly ran her hand through her pixie cut hair and took one last deep breath before heading into the audition room.

She stood there taking a moment to look at the JYP Entertainment representatives that sat before her. Of course, JYP himself wasn't there, the small city they were in wasn't near important enough for that. Jihyun took one more deep breath before bowing deeply. "Hello, my name is Kim Jihyun." She let out in a quick breath. The judges behind the table each gave her smiles, surprisingly nice and not as intimidating as Jihyun had expected.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Kim. I'm Lee Mina, this is Park Youngsuk," she motioned to the man on her right, "and Lee Junhae." She motioned to the man on her left. "Are you ready to show us your talents?" The female representative asked. Jihyun nodded her head before backing up a bit. First was singing. This was the part that Jihyun would probably be the worst at. She cleared and waited for the music to start. Lie by Big Bang flowed through the speakers and Jihyun began to sing. She wasn't a great singer but she believed she did pretty good with this one. She also had a chance to show a bit of rap with this song and that was her goal. To show her rap skills.

After singing she waited as the judges deliberated. After a minute or two they motioned for her to continue to the next part, dancing. The music began playing and Jihyun started her own choreography to Super Junior's Mr. Simple. When she finished she saw the judges nodding and writing things down in their notes, every now and then whispering to one another. They nodded together before turning back to her. "Continue on, Miss Kim. Next is rap, correct? If I remember right, this is the area you're most comfortable in, is it not?" One of the male judges, she recognized as Park Youngsuk, asked her with a kind look on his face, soothing Jihyun's nerves a bit. She nodded and gulped. "Yes, sir. I've been rapping since I was eight." She told him. The judge smiled and nodded, motioning for her to carry on. Jihyun took a deep breath and prepared herself. Jihyun had chosen a lesser-known song by an underrated rapper but this was one of her favorites so she knew she had to do it. The familiar tune of Love is War by Gilme ft. Outsider began playing through the speakers and Jihyun was taken as the words flowed from , just like when she practiced.

By the time she finished, she had nearly forgotten where she was. As she opened her eyes, not realizing she had even closed them in the first place, she saw the judges simply staring at her. Her face heated up and she could feel herself blushing. The judges sat for a moment before snapping out of it and began taking notes and talking just as they did with the other two parts.

After a minute that seemed to last forever, Park Youngsuk spoke up. "Thank you, Miss Kim. We are going to see a few more people, deliberate, and we will contact you within a week to let you know if you made it or not." He said with a smile. Jihyun bowed and thanked them before exiting the room.

~~1 week later~~

Jihyun paced her room. "They should have called by now. They said within the week. Does this mean I didn't make it? Wait, they said they would contact me either way. Did they forget about me?" She rambled to herself. Suddenly her phone started ringing on her bed. Jihyun's head whipped around to look at it. Only a moment later she jumped to grab it and answer it. "Hello?" She answered, trying to keep her voice from wavering. "Yes, Kim Jihyun?" A female voice answered. "Yes, this is she. Can I help you?" She asked even though she knew full and well why this person was calling. "I have the results of you're audition to deliver to you. We would like to say that your rap style is phenomenal and is much to be desired but we can't place you in JYP." Jihyun's heart dropped. All that work. Getting detention for skipping school to go to the audition. This was what it lead up to? "But," the woman on the other line continued. Jihyun's breath hitched when she heard that word. "There is a spot in JYP's sub-company, BigHit. It's a smaller company but we believe it's the perfect fit for you." Jihyun nearly let out a scream from excitement. Are-are you serious?" She asked, her voice shaky but a huge grin placed on her face. "One hundred percent serious. Welcome to BigHit, Miss Kim."

Hey guys! I stopped writting this story a while ago because I was just not very happy with it but due to the fact that people continued to subscribe, I've decided to continue and do my best to make it better. At the beginning I used many random romanized Korean words. I was in no way trying to appropriate and I'm sorry if it offends any of you. I hope you won't see me as a Koreaboo or anything, I was just trying to seem more authentic back then but now I realize that wasn't the way to go about it. I've stopped doing that and I have gone back to the chapters to change that and just use English (I will be keeping some of the times Jihyun calls the boys oppa, but only if it adds to the story, usually in humor). Again, sorry if this weirded any of you out or upset you in any way, that was not my intention! Thank you for the support!
