“Eun Ju… Eun Ju ah. Wake up.”

“Eun Ju…”

She heard it, but it sounded so small compared to the average level. Her eyelids wouldn’t open up. When she tried, the pain pulled it back down. Why was it so hard? Just waking up caused so many problems.

He put his hand on her forehead slightly, examined if she had a fever or not. It was normal but in this case, he inferred out it was because of the wound on her head. It would have been different if he noticed her absence sooner. It would have been different if he was always with her. Gosh, but then Sunggyu hyung. This wasn’t something he expected.

“Hoya hyung, dinner is ready.” Sungjong walked near the worried man next to the fainting girl on his bed. “I’m not hungry.” Hoya gave out a light sigh, but it was loud enough for Sungjong to notice. Sungjong knew that Hoya was worried, but he couldn’t do anything good if he just sitting around like that and look at her. “Hyung, Eun Ju noona will be fine. I ensure that, now you need to eat and talk about this problem about the people there. Everybody is in the kitchen.” Sungjong placed in Hoya’s mind an end about the anxiety that was overcome Hoya. He sighed, but then he knew that talking about the problem could help her to escape from those people. It was better than just sitting there.

His presence drew the other’s attention to his direction. The sinister smile wouldn’t get off his face. The two people there, completely messed. It seemed like the ‘INFINITE’ team had a potential power of ruin things. It made the game even better.

“Take care of that well In Sung hyung.” The smirk was still visible on his face. That smirk never pleased anybody before and it could never please anybody in the future. He swept his feet to the chair that was seated a nerd. His eyes went through the cameras, none of them got her appearance. “Smart, know how to took off the cameras before heading away. I’ve underestimated you Zoey. I have underestimated you.” His voice got the sarcasm and the anger inside. He was angry, of course because he was not just losing the memories card but also the experiment as well. He walked out but the aura he wore was completely different. It weighted with hatred, anger and annoyance. Taeyeon knew for the best that she should sit still at a corner and let him walk by rather than speaking. He paused at her place suddenly, it came unexpectedly. She stared in his brown orbs, only sensed the fear of her and the anger of him.

“Oh, poor you noona. Look at what they have done to you.” He placed his hand on her face, showing that he cared for her but everybody there knew that he didn’t. Taeyeon felt the warmth from his hand on her face. It comforted her in some way. He smiled, a genuine one. She smiled back but then regretted immediately. His eyes filled with darkness and anger that was about to explode.

“You all think that I’m easy to be pleased, that I’m naïve. Shamed of you.” He put his hand down, and this just made the girl next to him scared even more. “She’s the mission I give you and I haven’t seen her anywhere in this place. And I’m not pleased with that.” His voice changed, more and more demanding it sounded like, and more angry it seemed to be. In Sung rose from his seat and came to the male at the center of the room. “You should know that she made them weapons. Like what she has made for us. We weren’t armed for a fight because Woohyun wasn’t there. They had the advantages.”

“Wow, hyung. It has to be ‘they HAVE the advantages’.” The more his eyes cleared, the darker it clouded back. “As long as she’s with them, I don’t have my crucial card. Find her and bring her back. I want to finish the tests on her.” He said one last time before facing away. Even if his eyes weren’t looking at them, they could feel the hard cold ice in there. “And one more thing. If you find that Sunggyu guy, bring him back as well. The serum was made by his blood test.” After this, his shadow disappeared from the room. In Sung sighed out heavily, Taeyeon was still scared of that gaze, the workers were still freezing because of their boss’ ice voice. They were all messed, because of her.

Hoya settled his place amongst the people in there. The atmosphere was so down, it ruined all of his moods. Imagine when they fell from bad to the worst. Sunggyu seated at the center, no sign of Woohyun. “Okay, we’ll start with the easiest question. How many of you knew about the people there?” Sunggyu sounded really stupid then. It made them doubted his once sharpened senses.

“We all know about the organization hyung. It’s not hard to find out.” L had his voice in there. The coldness was still gripping on him. “She made you weapons since then? All the times sneaking outside was for making weapons and trained her skills?” Sunggyu couldn’t hide from the weariness and the anxiety, both were ab
