Sunggyu kept texting him, thousands of calls and messages showed on his screen, but Hoya stayed firm, he didn’t even read the message. He didn’t actually take her there so she was still fine and it was all thanks to him.

It was his old practice room, his small hiding place when he was young. It was just an old small house for him only. Nobody had gone to this place with him except for Eun Ju and his uncle. His uncle introduced him this place, she was just somebody that he wanted to be alone with in here, but definitely not in this kind of circumstance.

Looking at the shining screen, Hoya followed his instinct and passed the messages, calling Woohyun instead. The first call, he didn’t pick up. Hoya didn’t expect him to but he still kept his patience and called the second time. This time, luckily, Woohyun answered.

Convo:

Woohyun: Hoya! Are you there, if you’re there then you should leave right now, he’s heading there.

Hoya: No I’m not. I’m at somewhere else. I’m…

Woohyun: Whatever you do just don’t leave that place. I’m having a little problem here so… I gotta hang up. Don’t leave there till dawn k?

Hoya: I’m… Woohyun ah it’s…

Disconnected

“It’s kinda short.” A voice rang up behind him, startled the young man. It happened to be someone else, instead of Eun Ju. She startled him more than she thought, Hoya wasn’t like the old boy she knew. He got affected by emotional stuff, too much of something isn’t good. And there was too much emotion inside him, he couldn’t contain all of those since he had just learned to feel for a few days.

Hoya, he stood still, stiffened his face while his eyes glued to hers. No word was said by both side and neither of them had given in to say a thing the minutes later. It was like the time stayed still to the order of them two even though it just wanted to past this moment in life, in order to make both of them better mentally. She gave in since patience wasn’t one of her virtues and having to look at his face like that in return would only make her more vexatious.

“You will be in it this time, won’t you?” Anxiety was so clear in her voice like she wanted it to audible to him, literally. “Once you’re in there’s no way out. And we’re already trapped in it Taeyeon.” Still stiffened his face, those orbs like the mirror reflected everything, every kind of emotions she had had within her. Fear, harassment, anxiety and a mixture of all of those with some more emotion that he might be unable to read well.

“I don’t want the same thing to happen to you and her.” The water blurred her eyes, sending her view to an opaque sight. Hoya then, and only then when he saw no threat in her did he smoothened his face muscles so it would work like normal and showed out some expression that he had learnt how to express. Sympathy was very appropriate and luckily that the boy knew his way to make sure she saw his sympathizing eyes.

“They got him?” There was no answer from Taeyeon but just by her eyes, he could infer the answer on his own. Just within a day and everything had gone to another level. He got her safe with him but Taeyeon lost her boy who used to be safe with her. Through that he knew that they had prepared for everything and they seemed to know about everything they were doing. Right at that moment, the only thing occurred his mind was the girl in his bedroom.

“I don’t want you to think this as a begging for help but apparently it is, please Hoya, if you can, please get him out of there. He knew nothing about them, about what they can do and… I think… I think I’ll die if he dies.”

As his ear caught the word ‘die’ he glanced up at her face which was ruined by the tears. Slowly, he approached her like he once did to Eun Ju, the difference was that, he hesitated to embrace Taeyeon. Yet, once their skin touched each other he knew that she needed such things like this and as he had done it she was grateful to him.

“Sun has risen, and so has your girl.” She cooed to his ear but to her surprise, he stood still, hand wrapping pr
