    Today was a big day for me. It was the day that Miyoung, Yoongi, our circle of friends and I all graduated. Miyoung is my best friend. We met when we were toddlers, when our mothers brought us to the same ballet class. Ever since then, we were inseparable. We told each other everything, went everywhere together, even shared all the same interests. After several years, Miyoung stayed in ballet, while I branched out in dance and began taking hip-hop. Despite being in drastically different dance classes, Miyoung and I were closer than ever. As for Yoongi, he’s my boyfriend of nearly two years. Yoongi and I met our sophomore year. Funny story, actually. Somebody set Miyoung up on a blind date, who happened to be Yoongi. It didn’t work out very well, though, so Miyoung arranged for Yoongi to meet me instead. It was insane how quickly Yoongi and I fell for each other. I was captured by his warm brown eyes and perfect, irresistible lips. The way his red-orange hair swooped a bit to one side made him look extra adorable. Through Yoongi, I met my other friends. There was Namjoon: the destructive one with a poetic side, Seokjin: the oldest, who was always considerate of others, but tended to follow along in whatever craziness the younger boys got into. There was also Hoseok: the always-happy-always-smiling one with crazy dance skills who also happened to be Miyoung’s boyfriend. Taehyung and Jimin: the two weird ones who were always getting into trouble by being too loud or rough. Finally, there was Jungkook: the one who excelled in everything with a sweet voice, but also had a goofy side. And me, my name is Park Jieun. I’d love to share some interesting facts about myself, but there isn’t much to tell. Basically I dance and hang out with my amazing group of friends.

    The nine of us stood amongst a crowd of students clad in their blue graduation gowns, and we all threw our caps in the air. The caps all rained down upon us as couples kissed, friends hugged, and relatives cried. Yoongi and I held hands as we walked around and congratulated our fellow graduates. I felt extremely proud of everyone, especially Yoongi, who was never very fond of school. Neither was I, but I tolerated it better than he did.
