Jongin

I couldn’t help but to keep staring at him shocked; I knew I was getting a lot of attention.

“Jongin, what are you doing?” Chanyeol yelled at me and passed him some tissues, “I’m so sorry about him, he doesn’t know to behave around other people,” he said as he glared at me sideways. 

I quickly sat down and ignored the stares from them. “S - Sorry, I was just shocked,” I excused myself, embarrassed over my actions. 

He wiped himself with the tissue Chanyeol handed him whilst glaring at me. “I don’t care if you were stunned or not. Was it really necessary to spray all over me?” he spat and I glared at him.

“Come on Kyungsoo, forgive him. He didn’t mean it,” Baekhyun said and held on his shoulder, “sorry.” He glanced at me and smiled, which I just nodded back to. 

“Still, it’s pretty rude.” I couldn’t help but to snort at him as I crossed my arms over my chest.

“Did it look like I did it on purpose? And you’re the rude one!” I yelled back, receiving a nudge from Chanyeol with his foot under the table.

“You’re the rude one,” he whispered. 

I rolled my eyes. “No, he is! I’ve met him before, and every time we’ve met, he’s being the cocky rude one who doesn’t even say thank you when I helped him from a tall bully who probably would’ve beaten him up if I didn't make it in time!” I yelled, already feeling myself getting way too heated up. I really did have a short temper, and I sometimes couldn’t control it. Not if I’ve already snapped.

“Please, calm down Jongin," Baekhyun said softly, "there’s a reason for that." 

I glared back at him. “No, I won’t ing calm down! I’m out of here,” I snapped and threw my jacket over my left shoulder as I stood up to leave. 

“You said you were starving!" Chanyeol yelled after me, "Jongin, come back!” 

I didn't bother to look behind as I responded, “I lost my appetite.” 

I walked out of the restaurant and went home. It was true: I was indeed starving, but I didn’t want to be any near that rude , and rather bought some ramen in a grocery on the way. 

“I thought you were coming home late from a double date, dear?” my mom asked as she spotted me stumping up the stairs. 

“Chanyeol said that, not me,” I grunted, closing my door to my room. I just wanted to be alone.

Why did it have to be him? Out of all the people here, it had to be that rude who was Baekhyun’s friend? He must've went to the same class as he or something, since I had never noticed him until the entrance when we became trainees. I also didn’t know his name, but I didn’t care. I didn’t care about him - at all. 

But I was annoyed that he was the friend of my best friend's possible boyfriend. 

As I lay down on my bed, I got a text message appearing on my phone. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Chanyeol. He probably wanted me to come back and apologise for being the rude one. 

‘I’m sorry I got you into this Jongin, but can you please come back? I want this to work out.’ Well, I was close. I didn’t really bother to reply and just tossed my phone beside me on the bed.

Just seconds later I got another message, but I knew him too well to know what else he had to say. He would just keep on nagging me until he got what he wanted. I had one word to describe him perfectly: annoying. 

My phone kept on beeping, and he even tried to call. That’s when I snapped.

“What is it Chanyeol?” I asked annoyed as I picked up the call, ready to end it already.

“Please hear me out Jongin,” he started. I sighed, but allowed him to continue. “I know it didn’t go well, and I’m willing to listen to you later, but please come back. I need you to stay beside me here mate. You promised.” 

I hated it when he did that. Saying that I already promised to do something, using that against me whenever there’s stuff I didn’t want to do. He liked to push me around.

“If you’re willing to listen to me, you won’t be forcing me to go back. I’ll go to sleep, so good night. I hope your date will be fantastic." 

The last sentence was sarcastic and I didn’t even know why. I didn’t know why I was on the edge to snap whenever there was a talk about him or his date. Or that he was dating someone. It just made me mad for some reason. I didn’t like it. It’s not that it had anything to do with me, or affected me in any way, and it just made me wonder why I was so much against it. Maybe I’m just tired, and probably gone mad. Maybe I’ve already gone mad a long time ago.
