[Jieun’s POV]

     I closed my eyes, trying to relieve myself from the immense guilt I felt right now. But it was impossible, with the victim right beside me, acting as though nothing much happened.

     His life must have been so tough.

     And I was the cause of it.

     And he still liked me.

     Would he still… After he knew?

     “Jieun-yah, don’t be so sad,” Wooyoung smiled and said casually, but his words were laced with pain and hurt. “It’s my life anyway.”

     “What was your family name? I mean… the one you had before you were adopted.” Please don’t let it be Choi…

     “If you really must know…” Wooyoung took a deep breath.

     “I was Choi Wooyoung.”

[Wooyoung’s POV]

     The first few drops of rain fell. But Jieun’s eyes were locked at something far away…

     “I need to get back now,” Jieun said nervously, her eyes refusing to meet with mine. “Jiyeon’s looking for me.”

     And with that, she left immediately, not caring about the rain pelting down on her.

[Jiyeon’s POV]

     “Ottoke? AHHHHHHHHHH!”

     Jaejin didn’t only just look like a girl, he acted like one too. A cicada (really huge one) decided to rest on his arm and he immediately started wailing like a baby. And screaming like a girl.

     “Get it off Jiyeon-yah, I beg you! AHHHHHHHHHHH! It’s walking up!”

     At that moment the cicada flew away and Jaejin heaved a huge sigh of relief.

     Then it was back.

     “Ooooooh ottoke? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Jaejin wailed. Now passersby were starting to stare at us.

     “Jaejin… Stop making me feel like your eomma.”

     “THEN GET IT OFF ME!” Jaejin screamed in mild desperation a he shook his arm wildly, but the cicada held tight.

     “Jaejin, this is getting embarrassing.” But somehow I couldn’t help thinking how cute he was, and a smile cracked on my face.

     “IT’S NOT FUNNY JIYEON-YAAHHHH… I BEG YOU, GET IT OFF ME NOW!”

     “That’s more of an order than begging, you know.”

     “Jebal…” Jaejin’s screams stopped to a frightened whisper as he stared eye-to-eye with the advancing cicada. “Get it off me, jebal…” He grabbed my arm.

     “You know, the nuna should always help the dongsaeng,” I heard a passerby comment.

     “Yeah Jiyeon nuna, don’t torture Jaejin dongsaengie…” The puppy eyes that Jaejin shot at me was so powerful that he could go have competition with Jieun. I’m all soft when I see puppy eyes directed at me. I sighed, and using one hand, pulled the cicada off Jaejin, let it go and kicked it far away.

     “Jeongmal kamsahabnida Jiyeon nuna,” Jaejin broke down into a perfect 90 degree bow.

     “I’m not your nuna, Jaejin oppa,” I put the emphasis hard on oppa.

     Jaejin seemed to hear the emphasis and smiled a little. “Yes you are. I’m a December baby.”

     I glared at him.

     Great, I just found myself another dongsaeng

     “I’m still going to call you oppa.”

     “That isn’t right, nuna.”

     “Yes it is.”

     “No it isn’t.”

     “Yes oppa, stop denying it.”

     “No nuna, stop forcing it.”

     I was going to retort back when I felt the first few drops of rain on my head. Then I saw a familiar figure running in the rain.

     Was that… Jieun?

     “Jieun?” Jaejin voiced out our doubt.

     Seems like it was Jieun… running away from… what?

[Suzy’s POV]

     Seems like the ‘secret’ didn’t work long after I finished it.

     “I think you’re sick.” Yoseob said, a little worried. “You’re really hot!”

     I felt something cold touch my head, then I realized it was Yoseob’s hand.

     “I’m… feeling really cold.”

     “You have a fever, you should…”

     I didn’t stay conscious long enough to finish hearing what Yoseob was saying.

[Yoseob’s POV]

     “Su-suzy-yah!”

     Her eyes had closed, and her head had dropped dangerously onto my shoulder. And she was having a fever. Not a good sign. I moved a little bit, and then Suzy’s body fell, lifelessly, onto the ground.

     “Suzy-yah!”

     Without really thinking much, I picked Suzy up and started running towards the office.

[Jieun’s POV]

     When I finally stopped running, the first few tears began to fall.

     And then the questions began coming.

     Why had I been so attracted to a musical box? Why didn’t I realize I was in the middle of the road? Why didn’t I notice there was a lorry coming my way? Why did Wooyoung try to save me? Why did he stop in the middle of the road, and like me, stare at the musical box?

     There were so many whys.

     And I couldn’t find an answer to a single one of them.

     “Jieun?”

     I turned around. Jiyeon? What was she doing here? But… she was just the person I needed to see.

     “What happened?” Jiyeon’s tone was concerned, but also demanding.

     I looked the guy standing beside her. “Sorry, did I interrupt something?” I managed to reply her.

     “No. What happened?”

     I looked from Jiyeon back to the guy. As though he knew what I was thinking, he gave me a small smile and pulled his headphones on.

     “Jiyeon-yah…”

A/N: O-O Trust me, the cicada one was entirely random. I only decided to put it in after watching this random video of Jaejin's cute reaction when a cicada flew and decided to rest on his arm during a performance. Trust me, I like to exaggerate things XD

I'm sorry for not updating for I don't know how many days. Here's something, I'll try to update once every three days, okay? ^^ It's pretty hard to write a fanfiction with your mum sitting right next to you trying to understand what you're writing then screaming at you to get off the computer. I know. My life is sad, like Wooyoung's.

p.s. Jaejin is not younger than Jiyeon in real life, he's one year older, but in this fanfic almost everyone's the same age so I'm basing their seniority according to month, so in this fanfic Jaejin is the younger one ^^
