The large crowd of Beijing cheered in a sea of silver lights as Baekhyun bowed after his performance. He ran towards the stairs off to the side of the stage leading to backstage as quick as he can for his head was hurting like crazy. He had to endure the throbbing pain throughout his entire performance while singing at his very best. Just as Chanyeol predicted, he fell sick after standing in the rain yesterday. Medicine weren't helpful and the discomfort would not go away. The headache worsened with each step he took. 

The stairs were only a foot away. He's almost out of the stage lights' range.

It was when Baekhyun's foot reached the first descending stair that the whole world went completely dark, and he felt his knees unbuckle and give out underneath him.

"Baek!"

Somewhere far, far away, where there is no light, Baekhyun faintly hears a muffled voice.

"Baekhyun!"

The voice would not shut up but only grew louder and louder until something in the back of his mind told him that this voice belongs to someone familiar. 

"Baek are you awake?"

Light seeped into his vision as his eyelids cracked open, blinding him momentarily. He felt a hand on his shoulder and another cupping his cheek. He shook his head drowsily and let out a confused "huh?"

"Baek look at me." 

Baekhyun turned towards the voice to find a face extremely close to his own. The world focused around him and finally he could clearly see the face. Chanyeol was looming over him with concern written all over his face. His large puppy-like eyes stared at him worriedly and his eyebrows furrowed. For a moment, Baekhyun can only stare back in shock. In his peripheral vision he noticed he was lying on the couch inside the dressing room. Staffs and other artists and managers were in the room, all focused on him.

"Baekhyun, are you alright?" A staff member spoke.

"W - What... Why am I here?" the said boy asked. The last thing he remembered was walking off the stage.

"You fainted just now," Chanyeol said. "Are you feeling better? Does it hurt anywhere?" He cupped the smaller's face.

"I... did...?" Baekhyun said as he rubbed his eyes, sitting up. Chanyeol moved his hand to the smaller's forehead and frowned, "you're burning up..."

Before he can comprehend what Chanyeol said, the taller is already searching the room for a towel. People moved out of his way as he grabbed a little cloth and dashed into the joint bathroom, coming out a second later with the cloth damped. 

"Lay down," Chanyeol said.

"I'm fine! It's not a big deal-"

"Of course it's a big deal! You fainted on stage! The fans probably saw it too..."

Sighing in defeat, Baekhyun did as he was told, and Chanyeol placed the damp cloth on his forehead. His over-caring manager then took out some medicine he brought with him and poured a glass of water. Chanyeol fed the smaller medicine, the latter rolling his eyes at the over-reacting giant.

"It seems like the rumors are true," one of the staffs said, watching them with interest.

"What rumors?" Baekhyun asked.

"Didn't you see the news?"

Confused, both Baekhyun and Chanyeol shook their heads. The staff member that spoke pulled out his phone, punched in something, and showed the screen to them. There in bold letters, the title of the entertainment news section screamed back at them.

SUPER STAR BAEKHYUN DATING HIS MANAGER??!

Underneath the headline are two pictures. The photos was taken in bad quality. It was dark and appeared to be raining. In the center of the first picture are two people; the shorter boy's face is hidden behind the taller man, whose back is turned away from the camera. The taller man seemed to be pressing the smaller man against the car, and their heads were close together, as if kissing. The second piture showed Baekhyun and Chanyeol's faces clearly, getting out of the same car from the first photo.
