Glancing at the clock once again, Chanyeol convinced himself they still had time. It was only seven in the morning. However, for an entertainer, seven is never too early to get up and go to work. But the bed was just too comfy, too cozy... especially that furry little ball of human fluff sleeping soundly beside him.

Snuggled up to his side is his childhood best friend Byun Baekhyun, also known as Baek to the world, who is an famous singer. Recently, Baekhyun just accepted a lead role in the upcoming drama "Last First Love", and it will be his debut work as an actor. Chanyeol just somehow ended up being Baekhyun's manager.

Ok maybe not "somehow".

Chanyeol purposely pursued this career just so he can stay with his best friend, and he has to admit, he likes the feeling of Baekhyun cuddling next to him at night.

Don't get it wrong, there's nothing going on between them!

If you don't count how Chanyeol is currently hugging and squeezing the boy in his arms, or how he loves staring at the boy while he sleeps, or how ran his hand up and down the boy's back.

Ok... maybe that's a little bit too creepy... But hey, they're best friends and they're used to it, though Chanyeol was sure this was something friends did not do. 

He knew he always had a special place in his heart reserved just for Baekhyun, but he can't risk jeopardizing their friendship since he knows he means nothing more than a friend to Baekhyun.

However, sometimes, just sometimes, Baekhyun gets his hopes up.

Just like how right now, the smaller is hugging his torso tightly like how a koala bear would hug a tree (technically Chanyeol is Baekhyun's tree, since he's so much taller and shelters the smaller), or how the smaller is nuzzling his nose into the crook of Chanyeol's neck. All these little things got the taller to loose his mind and his heart to skip a beat.

He knew today was the first day of filming for Baekhyun and the right thing to do as his manager is to wake him up and get ready to leave at 8:30. But a little part of him-... ok, a huge part of him just wanted to stay in the sheets and cuddle with the smaller forever...

Which is exactly why they were late.

"God damn it Park Chanyeol! Why didn't you wake me up! Jesus Christ you dimwit. Why can't you have more brains than height??! Now all because of you I'm gonna be late!" Baekhyun yelled a string of curse words as he jumped into the passenger seat of the car and Chanyeol immediately began driving towards the set.

Being used to Baekhyun's attitude, Chanyeol didn't get upset.

"But I heard Kim Joonmyeon director is a nice guy, I'm sure he won't make a big fuss about it," Chanyeol said with his eyes on the road.

"Still!! Showing up late on my first day is extremely unprofessional and I do NOT want to be fired on my first day!"

"He won't fire you-"

"SHUT IT! Park Chanyeol I swear I will fire you one day-"

"Why don't you?" With that, the taller glanced at the fuming boy next to him, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as if challenging him.

The smirk caught Baekhyun off guard and the words were caught in his throat. For a moment, he can't think of why he didn't fire Chanyeol yet. He just didn't want to fire him. His lips opened and closed a few times until they finally found the words he's been looking for.
