Description
It was only a touch.
His fingers brushed my lips as I opened my mouth for the grape. I knew something was wrong when his eyes widen in shock and he drops the bag, quickly mumbling something about trees and Yifan before dashing through the open door.
How could this even be possible?
The bandaged gash on my leg throbs, but I try to ignore it as Yixing walks over with concerned eyes. I was fine. I didn't need their help. His hands stop me and hold me still despite my efforts, one traveling to the wound as if he knew what was wrong. My mouth drops as a blissful senstion surrounds the area and the pain disappears.
Why should I trust them?
Junmyeon aproaches me trepidly. His dark eyes held me captive as he stepped closer, testing my patience. He was lying, I know he was, but he's never lied to me before. It was the other Kim brothers, I bet. Jongdae was always a troublemaker, and they've been hanging out so often. I wouldn't be surprised if he was behind this tale.
All I knew was simple...
Darkness was coming, and I had to bring them all together
The twelve pieces of the Tree of Life.
Foreword
Yggdrasil's life was already complex, and not just because her mother decided to name her after the longest name she could find for unneeded reasons. College was starting soon. It was a time to meet new people and get a little closer to your dream job.
For her, though, it was a time to hang out with the same people she's been with since high school. It seems that everyone decided to go to the same place for Generals. They were all there: Her bff Junmyeon and his brothers, the man who's name keeps changing, the two intimidating guys in the back, dancing-machine Yixing, rainbow-haired Sehun, lovable Lu Han, giant Chanyeol and his dwarf bestie Baekhyun, plus the less interesting people from her past. These twelve always seemed to be the dashes of crazy in her life, from Kim Jongdae putting confetti cannons into her locker, to being paired to a make-up contest with Byun Baekhyun and losing.
But something was new. The twelve she's known since elementary school have been acting different lately. After discovering that they were counting the days until a Lunar Eclipse, she decided that they were just excited, but that doesn't seem to be the case when a simple action sends all twelve into a frenzy.
They demand that she belive a story that seemed to be spun out of thin air. Nothing matches up until she meets just exactly what they mean face to face. And it's only a matter of time before she get's swept up in an entirely new definition of crazy.
"Suho, I don't think we're on Earth anymore."
