Sorry Sweetheart

Kim Joonmyun was the epitome of being an .

Though, that didn't stop him from being one of the most eligible bachelors on South Korea's top 100 list - coming in at twenty-one. If it were possible for his ego to get any bigger then it definitely would swell up with this news. But that wasn't the case. The truth was he hadn't heard of any news since his departure to Jeju Island for the summer, as he was spending his much needed relaxation time doing what he did best:

Being an absolute .

He knew this, he accepted this, and he moved on from this. Why hold back on the account of what some people or articles may say about him? He didn't have time to dwell on the fact that there were a lot of people out there who hated him; he just wanted to spend his summer with alcohol, girls and casual hookups any night he wanted them. Which has been just about every night for the past two weeks.

Joonmyun weaselled his way out of the grasp of a slumbering girl sprawled out on the bed - another victim to his string of one night stands. He knew he should have felt bad for her, for any of them whom he'd screwed over, but he didn't. Instead he just smirked as she didn't move a muscle from his absence and lazily pulled his trousers back on.

He figured that as long as he was out of the public eye for the few months, why not cause as much chaos as he could? Joonmyun knew the things he did weren't normally perceived as 'appropriate behaviour' but that was the thing about him; he just didn't care at all and he probably never would. If people were smart, they would stay away, but that wasn't the case all the time.

Just as he used them to please his own needs, they used him for his money, his good looks, or his power. That was the downfall to being the eldest son to one of biggest trading partners throughout Asia - you never know who likes you for you. So instead of figuring that out, he decided the best thing he could do was avoid anything that could turn into something serious as much as possible.

Which resulted in him running the second anything got even the slightest bit serious.

He grinned wickedly at the girl on the bed. "Sorry sweetheart." Of course she was absolutely beautiful, not surprising considering he had incredibly high standards. He had always been told that if he settled, then he wouldn't find the one he was meant to be with. Though, he completely tore apart those words and used it in a completely different and vulgar way.

The truth was, he didn't consider all the blame to be thrown at him for how things turned out. He just showed up at the bar and struck a few conversations with the ladies that would be there. He didn't ask for them to invite him home, he didn't ask if they wanted to spend the evening with him, and he didn't ask for them to even acknowledge him. He may have made the first move, but he just followed whilst they did the rest.

He let out a soft chuckle under his breath as he pulled his shirt back over his body, grabbed his belongings from the floor, and headed out of what's-her-name's apartment. This was that time of day when did the not so walk of shame back to his hotel so he could share his evening with his trip companion.

Joonmyun took in a deep breath and exhaled in pure bliss as he was surrounded by the fresh air. The sky was a perfect shade of blue as he stuck his hands in his pockets and strolled down the walkway and out of the complex. He gave his cheeky, yet irresistible grin to the people he passed on the streets - earning a few giggles from the occasional girl checking him out.

He loved it here. He loved absolutely everything about Jeju. The scenery, the ocean, the weather, and mostly, the girls. Joonmyun hadn't even been here that long and he was already the talk of the island - one of the most wanted and talked about guys. He was charming, gorgeous and definitely easy on the eyes. And he knew how to treat you right - at least, in bed.

Nothing ever went as far as that, though. He wasn't looking for anything serious or everlasting and, if those he went after would actually listen instead of fall all over how good looking he was, they would know that before they would bring him home. He had his routine down; charm the girl, wait to be invited home, have an incredible evening behind closed doors, and then abandon ship once morning comes without even a word or glance back.

The word had spread quickly of his unkind deeds, but somehow that didn't stop those who had been 'warned' from seeking him out and testing the waters. Most would prefer to him as a , though Joonmyun preferred casanova. He wasn't like most twenty four year olds he knew; he didn't just pursue a woman at a party to get her drunk and her good. He thought the more romantic route was the way to go - sweet talk and entice her to bed with how charming he actually was.

For the most it worked. He was convincing and conniving in more ways than one. He loved getting what he wanted and, most of the time, all he wanted was a good with a beautiful woman that could easily be forgotten the next day. He didn't really care for much else. He knew who he was, others knew who he was, and he didn't plan on changing any of that anytime soon.

His phone vibrated repeatedly in his pocket and he quickly pulled it out, smirking down at Jongdae's name on the caller ID. "I see you made it out alive last night, despite how hard you were going."

Kim Jongdae was almost identical to Joonmyun other than his looks. It was actually from this guy that Joonmyun learned everything he knew about pleasing women and ditching them. Though, if he was honest, Jongdae was ten times worse than he would ever be. He prayed constantly that he would never turn out as cold as Jongdae was, despite how bad he already was.

"Last night was absolutely amazing. You up for another party tonight? I know a place we can hit up tonight and do some serious damage. I'm sure we can gather some girls for an incredible night."

Joonmyun smirked to himself and shook his head. Jongdae was amazing at planning a perfect party night. He knew the right people to call, the right girls to get, and the right things to do. He was even more of a charmer than Joonmyun was, which didn't surprise him considering his track record to getting girls had no holes in it.

He was also someone Joonmyun feared a lot. There were many times in the past where Joonmyun had regretted something, or someone, but Jongdae would come and make him see through it. There was something about him that made Joonmyun uneasy. He wasn't sure if it was the way he spoke, the way he acted, or how hypnotising he was, but there was something that always caught Joonmyun off guard. Though, it didn't stop him from considering him one of his closest friends and allies.

He was about to respond, but something caught his attention; or rather someone. He watched in amusement as a girl ran down the sidewalk, in his direction, chasing after a huge sunhat that was flying barely out of her reach. It honestly looked like a scene from some cheesy movie, and Joonmyun couldn't help but let a smile creep upon his face.

"I'll call you back, okay? I think I just found my next one."

Joonmyun didn't give Jongdae the chance to respond as he quickly ended the call and jogged in the direction of the disgruntled girl, hoping to help her. Or well, hoping to help her enough to impress her. He figured the most he could do was help her out, even if he couldn't charm her enough to spend an evening with him.

"Oh, come on!" She let out an aggravated yell as she neared him and the wind continued to blow the hat further out of her reach. "I paid good money for you!" He continued to laugh as he reached forward quickly and snatched the hate before it could fly any further. He stood in front of her and smiled widely, earning an embarrassed blush to rise upon her cheeks.

"Do you always talk to your hats or is it just today?"

She quickly pushed every strand of hair that had messily flown all over her face out of the way as she smiled. "Only the expensive ones." Joonmyun felt his heart speed up in his chest as he stared at the mystery girl in front of him.

She was beautiful. Wow, he mused to himself as he looked her up and down. He was used to seeing beautiful women as he walked the streets of Jeju but, as cliché as it was, there was something different about her.

The girl in front of him was a different sort of beautiful than the regular girls he pursued. He usually went for the ones that looked like they would have high standards, but whisper the right word in their ear and they were clinging all over you. However, this girl didn't seem like any of them.

She has long, brown locks and instead of being skimpily clad in a tiny bikini, she was wearing a flowy sundress. Her lips were the selling point though. Joonmyun just knew she could be real good with them, and the thought went straight to his pants. She had the face of an innocent girl - doe-eyed and filled with so much that he had many questions. Joonmyun knew just how to treat them, but they were always a bit more difficult to work with. You just had to woo them extra hard first.

And by looking over her figure, he knew it would be worth his while.

"Well." She blushed when she noticed how long his eyes had been lingering on her as the silence crept up on them for a few minutes. "Thank you for the help. I probably would have never caught it without you and lost out on some money." She extended her arms and took back her hat from Joonmyun, giving him a small smile filled with nervousness.

"Of course." He let go of the hat and held his hands behind his back. "You should hold onto that a little tighter. The wind loves to steal from people around here, especially pretty girls like you. Such a jerk, right?"

She laughed and cutely placed her sunhat back on her head, holding the sides of it to keep it from flying away again. "So I've noticed." He couldn't help but get caught up in her lips again as she spoke, wishing that he knew how they felt against him. "Sorry for inconveniencing you with my stupid problem."

"I don't mind at all. I love helping beautiful ladies when they need it."

Hat girl looked completely flustered by Joonmyun's remarks, but he couldn't help but notice how much she was fighting that redness coming upon her cheeks. She obviously wasn't used to such compliments, he could tell that much, and he wondered if she was actually buying this or seeing through him completely.

"Do you say that to all the strangers you chase hats for or just me?" The two of t
