"Can you stop dancing in such a quiet place like this?" Alice scowled, her blood pressure rising with each step and thud Jackson was making with his dancing. He was playing music, something foreign with a heavy beat. His movements were sharp and flirtatious, popping his chest with waves starting from his left hand to his right. But to Alice, it all looked like he was having a spasm. "Jackson! Control yourself," the older girl told him, waving her hands at him furiously.
Jackson didn't even care about the scowling girl. He only wanted to impress her even more. When the music changed to something slower, more sensual, he began doing body waves and pelvic s.
"Hey! Jackson! Stop that!" Alice cried out, covering her eyes with one hand and throwing a water bottle at the boy with the other. It hit him in the stomach, but he caught it with ease and even went so far as to take a sip from it.
"Am I embarrassing you, Alice?" he asked, very much amused by the older girl who was grimacing at him. Alice just huffed.
"No, you're embarrassing yourself!" the girl pulled him down to sit next to her and she grabbed his phone, turning off the loud music that was blasting through the quiet and blue ICU lobby. The nurses were laughing and so were the children. The older people were sleeping, tired from waiting in the lobby during the holidays.
"Why? Dancing is fun! You should try it," Jackson suggested, fixing his hair under her baseball cap.
"No way, I can't dance," Alice rejected, furrowing her brows for the hundredth time since she's met Jackson Wang.
"Um, everyone can dance," Jackson said, his tone turning playful, "I'll show you sometime," he added, lightly punching Alice in the arm. Alice pouted at the boy and hit him back, to which he just laughed.
"Alice! Jackson! You can come back to the room now," Nurse Sun appeared from around the corner and motioned for the two to follow. The two got up from the squishy sofa in the lobby and followed Nurse Sun back into Mark's room. The nurses had been cleaning the room and giving Mark a sponge bath for the last hour, so both Alice and Jackson had to wait in the lobby.
"You guys can just stay here now. Sorry for the inconveniences," Nurse Sun said, guiding Alice to her seat and letting her sit in her cushioned chair, "We brought a chair for Jackson, too."
"Aw, sweet!" Jackson cheered, slamming his whole body into the large comfy chair. Alice only shook her head a
