"I need you Minah."

Minah's chest rose up and down, trying to gasp for air. "But what we are doing now isn't right, I'm sorry." Sehun looked down, biting his lips. his hormones. He had lost control and was almost to commit a big mistake. Thank goodness he had a bit of consciousness. "Are you alright?" Sehun asked, breaking the silence. Was he ing serious? Minah felt anger forming up. She thought that after so many years, she could be selfish for once and keep him by her side for one night. But turns out he was just fooling around, mixing and confusing her feelings. Sehun felt the cold stare Minah was giving to him. "I meant, economically. I don't see you working." "I have my savings." Minah stated. "But I soon need to find a new job." "Do you want me to help you find a job?" Sehun asked. "Maybe SM-" "I don't think SM would welcome me anymore." Minah shook her head, hands shaking as she remembered how badly they had treated her in the past. Sehun nodded, not knowing what exactly to respond and break the tension between them. Thankfully, Sehun's phone rang. "I'm sorry, I'll take this." Sehun stood up and accepted the call. "Oh Sehun, who's this?" Sehun asked to the other line. "Your fiancé! Where the exact hell are you right now? I went looking for you everywhere!" Carrie roared on the other line. "Umm. Do you want to know a beautiful lie or the painful truth?" There was a silence. "Tell me where are you." Carrie said word by word, trying to keep her calm down. "I'm at Minah's house." Sehun replied coldly. Panting on the other line could be heard. "Don't move, I'm going to her house NOW." Carrie said and hanged up.   "Is there something wrong, Hun?" Minah asked with a worried face. "Since when did you start calling me 'Hun?" Sehun chuckled. "Carrie is coming." And Minah's face fell.  

 

The doorbell rang, Minah fidged nervously since Carrie might suspect of something since Sehun was over at her house and it was past midnight. "Hey Carri-" Minah was received by a hard slap. "How dare you?!" Carrie cried. "You ing slept with him, didn't you?!" Minah caressed her burning left cheek. "Carrie." Sehun stood up from the couch and walked towards her. "Calm down, Semi is asleep." "My ! You want me to calm down when my almost-to-be husband is at my best friend's house at this hour." Carrie's hand roamed through her hair. "Carrie, I-" Minah voice croaked out, only to see that Carrie's hand was up in the air, ready to slap her once again. Minah's eyes shut tightly, waiting for the pain. The slap was heard, but her cheek was untouched. She opened her eyes and saw Sehun standing infront of her, and Carrie gasping for air. Carrie had slapped Sehun. "Sehun! Oh my gosh! Are you okay? I didn't mean to slap you!" Carrie's hands caressed Sehun's bruised cheek. But Sehun slapped them away. "Go. Away." Sehun said under his breath. He was about to curse to that woman. And right at that moment, he hated Carrie with all his guts. Not only for hurting Minah physically but emotionally too. Carrie knew that that was the last straw and hurried out the door.       "Let me see." Sehun gently lifted her chin and saw her bruised face. His heart ached, while Carrie was hurting Minah, he didn't do a single thing to stop her. Minah couldn't talk, the tears were suffocating her. The pain that she received by the slap was nothing compared to what she was feeling now. She had never seen Carrie so mad before, did she really think that she had cheated behind her back with Sehun? Was she that low to her? "I'm sorry." Sehun said and embraced her. "Can I stay for the night? You know, Carrie surely is waiting for me on my porch and I really don't wanna deal with her right now."
