He peeked his head into your room, “hey are you ready yet?”

“Yeah, almost, I’ll be downstairs in a few minutes okay?”

“Alright, the bus will be here to pick us up in 10 minutes!”

You packed your last few belongings into the suitcase for your school trip to Seoul. You were at the end of your eighth grade year and your school had arranged trips to different parts of Korea for the students to see the schools in the respective areas. You zipped up your suitcase and took one last look at your closet; something caught your eye. It was teddy, you had contemplated bringing him with you, but like you said a while back, it was time to let go.

“Thanks Junho,” you whispered as you looked at the bear.

“____, they’re here!!”

You closed your door and made your way downstairs to the bus.

In the bus, you watched a movie about two lovers who found their ways back to each other after pursuing dreams on opposite sides of the world. It was amazingly cheesy, yet it gave you hope.

‘What am I thinking? The chances of me meeting up with him again are close to zero, plus I said I’d get over him, I was doing so well up until now..’ you thought right before you fell asleep.

“Yah..wake up…____ come on, wake up!!!”

“Huh..we’re here?” you mumbled as you rubbed your eyes.

“Yes sleepy, come on, we’ve stopped at a small convenience store for some food”

You trudged off the bus, holding onto Chansung to lead you through the store, though once you saw all the snacks and food, you were completely awake.

“Oh, this one, and this one too, OH OH ! THESE ARE MY FAVORITES, and these too!!”

“You fatty, I’m going to take all of this to the cashier okay? How embarrassing would it be for a small girl like you to buy all of this! The cashier would laugh.”

“Ugh you meanie, fine go pay, I’ll keep looking at all these yummy snacks!”

You kept looking at the food , ‘oooh chocolate, should I get milk chocolate or dark cho-AHH’

You had bumped into someone while you were lost in all the food in front of you, “I’m so sorry for that, I was just so caught up in all-“

“_____? Is that you?”

You looked up at the person’s face.

“Junho..?”

but I'm so busy what with tests and quizzes every other day

and homework and essays!
