CHAPTER 9

Yuuki's POV:

"Why is he even here anyway?!" I wanted to take back everything about understanding this crazy girl because honestly, there is no way I could understand someone like her.

I think she has this multiple personality disorder thingy. I thought, looking at Yuki's twin sister.

We were on our way to the twins' home. I decided to tag along so that I could help Yumi in assisting Yuki since he can't walk properly. But again, instead of thanking me, she's even mad that I was there helping.

"He shouldn't be going home with us... I can carry you by myself, Yuki..."

"Oh, really? With that height? I doubt it." I said, teasing her. She's being too much and I can't resist to give back her own dose of being annoying.

"Wow~ And you think you're any better?" she spat back at me. She really doesn't back down, huh?

"Well, I am taller than you though..." I grinned at her, and she just raised her eyebrow at me, clearly annoyed.

"How I hate you..." she whispered yet I still heard what she said. I really don't get her!

"And I thought we're already friends!" I said making her glare at me.

"I don't remember befriending you!"

"But you smiled at me..."

"It doesn't mean anything. I just smiled, I didn't say let's be friends... That's two different things, didn't you go to elementary school to learn that?" she said. Oh God, she's totally annoying!

"You're even more annoying..." she said which made me stare at her in curiosity. Did she just?

"Well, yeah. I read your mind..." she beamed at me, "Told you I can do that."

"What?! How can... You're really a..." She might be a black magic user!

"Witch? Nope, you could have said vampire... That suits me more." she said still with that crazy smile on her lips.

"Vampire? Neh, I think not. Vampires are supposed to be beautiful, right? Well..." I stopped on purpose to look at her from head to feet, then I smirked.

"Stupid." she exclaimed. I had to laugh at that, I totally won.

"You two seemed to have become closer, ne?" I was actually shocked to see Yuki there. And I saw Yumi tense as well.

"See, you didn't even realize that I was here, in between the two of you... You didn't realize that you are helping me walk and that you're assisting me... You're too caught up in your own little world." Yuki said, and indeed he was right. And that is crazy! How can that happen anyway?!

"Yuki...!"

"I'm kidding, Yumi-ssi... I'm happy that you're already joking around with Yuuki..."

"I'm not joking around with him. I really hate him." The way she said that was like I wasn't even there!

"Hey, I'm right here..." I tried getting her attention, instead she just glanced my way and shrugged, as if she didn't care.

"Wow... You're really something. You never fail to irritate me."

"Thanks." We were back in our own little world again, this time fighting with just our eyes. Throwing deathly glares at each other.

"YUKI~!" we stopped just as we heard someone called.

"Oppa!"

"Hyung!"

"What?" I asked, clueless. What were they actually saying? Is that some sort of a code or password?

The said guy quickly went to us and looked at Yuki worriedly. He looked at me and nodded, then he shifted his gaze back at Yuki again.

"What happened?" he asked. I wonder if this is the guy she likes? I thought as I looked at creepy girl who was staring at the guy.

"I'm fine, Hyung... Just a little accident. I sprained my ankle when I tried out for the basketball club." the guy just nodded again, clearly relieved that it wasn't anything too serious.

"By the way, Hyung... This is Yuuki, my friend."

"Yuuki...?"

"Yes, Midorikawa Yuuki. He helped us get back home safely."

"Midorikawa...?!" what?! What's so shocking about my name?!

"We still could have done it without him..." again there she goes with her hatred towards me. All that really comes out of that pretty mouth of hers are hate towards me. I swear if she didn't stop doing that, I'd kiss her until she forgets everything bad she thoughts about me!

"Yumi..." just that and the crazy girl stopped, she even apologized at me. Wow, speak of control over her, huh? I stared at the guy in front of me. I must say, he's good looking. But not as good looking as me. Tsk. He's just taller though.

I saw Yumi smirk, she must've read through my mind again. She moved away a bit just so that the other guy can get to her place in assisting Yuki.

"It's nice to meet you... M-Midorikawa-kun. I'm Yamamoto Ryo, I live with these twins. Come on, let's get inside now..."

I just nodded and followed.
