“Princess!” yelled Yuki, as he hugged me tight. Then he stood up looking seriously scary as he glanced at the students who were calling me names,

“Call my sister names again, and I’ll swear I’ll break your faces in half…” he said lowly and firmly. The students were taken aback, they fell silent for a moment but then resumed gawking at Yuki again.

'They won’t listen since they’re busy falling in love with you, my dear Yuki', I thought as I eyed my brother and sighed.

“Yuki-ssi, I told you not to call me princess when we’re in school. And you can’t hug me. And stop defending me because…” I can’t finish what I was saying and I can’t even dare look at him. I kept my sight on my desk, the staring are really getting to me now.

“Why?! Aish. I just want to be with you… And I just want to protect you.” he pouted and crossed his arms. Then he sat next to me and looked at the other way, acting all aloof.

“Hey…” I called and still he didn’t look at me. Here he goes again, I almost laughed at how cute he looks when he’s pouting. He still doesn’t change. He’s still like a little kid and yet I could never resist him.

“Alright. But it won’t be my fault if I’d get harassed by your fans because you’re so close to me.” I finally gave in, and in an instant he was all smiles again.

“Really?! Yay~”

“Neh… the princess shouldn’t worry about that. Prince Yuki will always take care of you and protect you, alright? You’re my little sister, and you’ll forever be.” he then looked at me and smiled his sweetest.

With that, I felt at ease. Even with all the stares and the whispering, I know I’ll get through this because Yuki’s here with me like he’s always been. Even with everything that’s happened, he never changes… or rather, he changed for the better. Unlike me.

I was in deep thought when I felt something—or someone poking my arm. It was our class president, AGAIN. She was smiling at me, AGAIN. And she was disturbing me, AGAIN. I was almost about to tell her to stop trying to talk to me, when she suddenly blurted out a question that almost knocked me out cold.

“Hey… do you have that brother-sister relationship like those in the manga? I mean, you know… Like… You and… him.” She said pointing towards Yuki. Her malicious grin and narrowed eye expression made both Yuki and me stare at her wide-eye.

I was just gaping at her, not even sure if I heard her question right or if she was indeed serious about asking me the question. I was about to shout, HELL NO! ARE YOU CRAZY?! When all of a sudden, Yuki burst out laughing. He almost fell from his chair because of laughing so hard.

“Lee-kun! What is your problem?! What’s happening?” Maeda-sensei called out, startling me, she doesn’t look that kind now. She walked towards us, and believe me my heart came to gallop at like a 200beats per minute rattle. I was about to say something when Yuki cut me off again.

“Maeda-sensei… I…” still laughing, Yuki tried so hard to talk, “I… I’m sorry. I just… I…” and he laughs his off. I was about to talk when again, I got cut off. This time, it wasn’t Yuki but the class president.
