I felt the warmth of the sun as I continued to wait for the bell to ring signalling the end of the class. I was sitting on a bench at the kindergarten's playground. A smile formed on my lips as I think about how time passes by so fast.

Years ago, I was just a 20 year old girl, young and still a persevering actress. Now, I'm already a 28 year old woman, already considered one of the greatest actresses in today's generation, and already a happy wife and mother.

"Classes haven't ended yet?" I heard his voice behind me and I looked around to see him smiling at me. I just smiled back and shook my head.

"Ahhh~! It's crazy how time goes by so fast! First they were just those tiny little angels that seem so fragile in our arms, right? Now, they're in their first day of school! I get so nervous thinking that soon they'll marry and leave us already!" he said and laughed lightly, making me laugh along with him.

"Ryo, they're still three... And you're already thinking about marriage?"

"Oh, believe me... Before we know it, we're already crying while looking at them exchange vows with the one they love for marriage... Like us!"

"Eh?!" I stared at him, still smiling.

"I could still remember meeting you for the first time back then, Mirai..." he looked up at the sky, smiling widely as he continued to reminisce.

"Tantei Gakuen Q SP..." I whispered.

It was as if it were yesterday when I first met the young Yamada Ryosuke. When we met, he didn't even look at me in the eye as we were introduced to each other.

I could remember his long brown hair, his face with those chubby cheeks, eyes so tantalizing I could melt at his every look, his nose that I always want to pinch whenever I , and his lips that curves into those perfect smile that welcomes me everytime we see each other. He was still a little kid back then but his looks were never to be taken lightly. He was one of the most gorgeous faces I have ever laid eyes on.

"The ever so small Mirai..." I looked at him pouting,

"Small...? And as if he was tall!" and he laughed,

"Small but terrible! You were such a great actress even back then. You nailed every single project given to you, that it was almost embarrassing to be standing with you in the same room if still a new actor."

"Hey! That's not true!"

"Oh, it is! And you were so pretty that almost it's impossible to look straight at you without fainting..."

"What?! Hey, Ryo... You're such a--"

"You know I'm not kidding, right?" I froze at his words, just looking back at those hazel eyes that I've loved to stare for all of those years.

"And that's why I fell for you..."

"Ryo..." he smiled at me and we remained silent, just looking at each other. It was always how he looks at me that makes me feel so special. It's in his eyes that I feel safe, secured, and loved... like now, like always.

His hands went to touch my cheeks... and up until now I could still feel that sudden electricity that travels through my body whenever our skins touch, I could still feel that tingling sensation running through my spine as we touch, and I could still feel that pure and innocent love that started the moment our eyes met for the first time.

"Mirai..."

*RIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGG~!!!*

Both of us almost jumped at the sound, and he suddenly looked away as he realized what was happening. He smiled widely,

"Some things just never change through time, right?" he said still not looking at me. But even if I can't see his eyes then, I know that there's that sadness and longing in them. The same sadness, the same longing I see when I look at myself in the mirror.

"Papa!!!"

"Mama~!"

Two kids were running towards us. One was a little boy that looks so much like the man beside me, their smiles are so alike it looked copy-pasted. The other was a little girl that has those round, dark eyes that looked exactly like mine.

"Sora..." both me and Ryosuke said at the same time. I looked at him in time to see him looking back at me.

Sadness... Longing...

And regret.

"Mirai..." he voiced low, as if calling on to me like it was the last.

"Hello Mirai-basan!" said the little boy, looking and smiling at me.

"Ryosuke-jisan!" the little girl also waved at Ryosuke.

"Hi Sora!" again, me and Ryosuke said at the same time.

"So... We'll go ahead now..." I said, almost a whisper.

"Ah... Right. We... We need to go now, too. Goodbye Mirai."

"Goodbye Ryosuke..." It was difficult to say goodbye to him again, but it was the right thing to do.

"See you tomorrow, Sora!" said the little girl that was holding on to my hands.

"H-hai! See you, Sora!" yelled the little boy, obviously blushing.

Sora, it means Sky... Even when I was still young, Sora was the name I've always wanted to name my child... and I remember telling Ryosuke that. Now both our kids are named Sora.

"Sora!" Me and my little girl both looked back at the beaming little boy.

"I'll marry you! Remember that!" he yelled and ran away, leaving Sora blushing like crazy, while Ryosuke and me are trying to hold off our laughters.

I looked at Ryosuke and nodded at him smiling, he too did the same thing. We need not talk but it was evident in the way we look at one another.

Really, there are those things that never change.
