Chapter 25
Teach MeAeri walked out of the locker, feeling refreshed and cleaned, after a long and intense session of dance practice. Her muscles were sore but the shower definitely soothed her aching joints. All she wanted to do now was go over to her boyfriend's studio and cuddle with him but it was impossible because Kris was on vacation to visit his mother. The tall man would be gone for a few more days, adding on to his nearing two weeks away, before Aeri could see him again and she'd have to cope with video chats until then.
The dancer was in the midst of checking her texts, scrolling through the numerous messages her boyfriend sent her while sending a few back. Kris' text messages made her smile and giggle, gushing over how sweet Kris was. She was so immerse in her own world that she had no idea of her surroundings, not until she rammed into someone's chest that is.
Her almond shaped eyes flickered upwards then widened once she saw who is was. “Hi Aeri.” The person greeted warmly, a amicable smile blooming over his thick lips. She returned the friendly greeting and stepped back to distance themselves, not liking their close proximity. “Hi Sehun.”
“You were great today.” He complimented her dancing, his eyes glowing with fondness. “You looked like a princess.”
“Thank you.” Aeri awkwardly accepted his compliment and stepped away from Sehun even further. She never fair well with strangers, even if they were her classmate, and them being a boy was even worse. “See you later.”
“Yeah...” Sehun was disappointed that Aeri was heading off so quickly but let her go as to not come off creepy. It would be a horrible impression to give your crush. “I'll see you in history then.” Lucky for him though, they did share a history together, in which they were partners for a project, so this wouldn't be the last time he'd see her.
Aeri brushed past Sehun and skipped out of the music building of the campus and walked down the stairs.
“Yo!”
She smiled upon seeing her best-friend and hastened her steps to meet the redhead. “Sera!” The dancer jumped the last few steps of the stairs before gripping onto Sera tightly, hugging her dear friend tightly. “What are you doing here?”
“I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out.” She briefly explained as her eyes were locked on someone behind Aeri. She nodded her head then pointed a finger in that direction. “Who was that? I've never seen him before.”
Aeri turned around to look behind her and saw the familiar blonde hair whizzing past them. She continued to watched Sehun leave before answering Sera. “Sehun? He's a new classmate. He's been here for a little over a week.”
“He's cute.” Sera bluntly stated. “He was totally checking you out too.” She then laughed rather sinisterly, something dark crossing her mind. “Kris isn't going to be happy about that.”
“Why do you say that?”
Sera gave Aeri a pointed look and scoffed, “I don't know if you're in denial or you're just naïve but Kris is insanely possessive over you. He doesn't even like me being around you.” She emphasized in offense. “And I'm your best-friend!”
“Kris isn't possessive, he's protective.” Aeri tried to defend her boyfriend even though she knew both traits rang true to Kris. “They're two different things.” Maybe they were but it was still very true that Kris possessed both the traits. She had always noticed her boyfriend's territorial personality, especially around hormonal guys but didn't think much of it as he had never let it get out of hand. Then again, there was really no reason to since she had always faithfully stuck by his side.
“Whatever.” The redhead rolled her eyes, unconvinced. “Either way it's going to unsettle him that you're getting close to another guy. And when that happens, don't nag me for saying, 'I told you so.'”
Aeri decided to ignore Sera's comment and thought about ways to fill up her stomach instead. “Do you want to get some food? I'm so hungry.”
“Okay!” Her best-friend agreed instantaneously, the idea of food exciting the both of them. “But you're paying!”
“Sure, sure.”
“Say...where is Kris anyway?” Sera asked once she noticed the absence of the obsess male. “He isn't hounding you like usual.”
“Sera, if you aren't going to say anything nice about Kris, you're paying for your own meal.” Aeri warned with a glare. Both S
