Epilogue

Two Timing

Epilogue:

Couple years later:

Minwoo grabbed Dongwan’s hand and pulled him out of the exhausted line of people and made sure they were the first to run out of the gate. The younger man was panting behind his boyfriend, not sure why he was suddenly so eager to make it on time, as they had still hours to get there.

“Slow down Minwoo ya” Dongwan yelled.

“No way!”

“But we…we need to go get our bags.” The younger man stopped.

Minwoo almost fell, as Dongwan was much heavier than him, but was caught by the slightly taller man. The older one turned at him and admitted he had forgotten the bags, as they walked back and waited together with the other tourists.

“Just relax. We won’t be late.” Dongwan smiled and rubbed the back.

“Hyesungie!” Eric yelled, hands around the unfinished tie. “Yah! Hyesungie!” the CEO screamed, stepping into the kitchen where the slender man was nervous-eating.

“What?” Hyesung asked, mouth stuffed with kimbap.

Eric raised the hands that held the tie and then nodded towards it. His boyfriend heaved a long sigh and swallowed the food (which in front of Eric did not seem as attractive as it should’ve) and advanced him, wiping his fishy hands to his home pants. He took the unfinished tie into his hands and started tying it up. Eric raised his head.

“How can’t you tie your own damn neckties?” Hyesung retorted afterwards.

“I never did it myself.” Eric told truthfully, straightening it in front of a mirror (due to Dongwan, they had mirrors everywhere the apartment). “I had close people who did it my love.”

Hyesung scoffed and took another piece of kimbap, when the tall man wrapped his hand around the wrist and prevented him from nervous eating and gaining weight, again. The young lad glared at him.

“You need to get dressed Hyesung.” Eric stated.

“Why?”

“Because…this situation requires it, ok?” The CEO put the piece of kimbap into his boyfriend’s mouth and pecked the pursed lips. “Go. We don’t want to get late.”

Hyesung nodded, chewed quickly and swallowed, and finally exited the kitchen and went to the bedroom to get dressed. Meanwhile, the CEO made sure the slender guy hadn’t hidden anything to their cupboards.

                ***

“How do I look?” Minwoo questioned, spreading his arms and smiling shyly. “Do I look handsome? Do I look comfortable?”

Dongwan nodded and grinned, bringing his thumb up, as he himself finished untying the ribbon. He felt drilling gaze on his neck as he tossed his head at Minwoo and blinked his eyes.

“What?” He spoke. “Do I have dirt on my face?” Dongwan wiped his hand rapidly on the cheek.

“No.” Minwoo whispered.

“Then what is it?” The younger one was almost panicking as he could see his own face from the bathroom mirror but there was nothing wrong with it.

Finally he saw a grin all over the older man’s face, as Minwoo stepped closer, cupped the face and kissed him. He withdrew, glanced at the eyes again, and leaned in again, making sure that Dongwan realised what he had meant with the drilling gaze.

“Oh.” The slightly taller one murmured.

Minwoo chuckled and the cheek, suddenly noticing the time on the wristwatch. He gasped and looked at Dongwan, who swiftly grabbed his precious bags and ran out of the bathroom with his lover. They put on their shoes, took their coats and exited the apartment in a flash.

                ***

The place they all were going was luckily not that far away. It only took 20 minutes to get there, and prepare everything before it was too late. Dongwan hurried out of the car, and opened door to Minwoo, who thanked him and smiled at him. When they were outside, they saw familiar faces.

“Wow! You two are back!?” Eric interrogated, tapping Dongwan’s shoulder.

“Yeah, we returned this morning.” The best friend replied. “I know. It was risky.” He cackled, arm around his boyfriend’s shoulder.

Hyesung hugged Minwoo and said he looked really amazing and happy, and he instantly asked how was America. They would have talked much longer, but they were asked (more like forced) to get inside the building and take seats. Actually, Eric perceived too late that of course he needed to be there and he scurried speedily past everyone to a private room, while Hyesung was behind him and entered the opposite space.

Minwoo and Dongwan laughed and slowly walked after everyone else and took places where they could see the best. After all, they were one of the closest people after all.

                ***

“Are you ready, my baby bird?” Hyesung grinned nervously at his as antsy friend. “You look stunning Junjin.”

The groom laughed very up-tightly, and rubbed his hands to the fabric of his pants. He was uncomfortable all of a sudden, and his heart was pounding out from his chest. He was almost sure that his mommy bird could see it bulging out from the chest.

“Jinnie, calm down, ok?” Hyesung murmured, hands on the shoulders. “Everything will be fine.”

“But what if Andy doesn’t want it!?” Junjin shrieked. “What if he says no all of a sudden?!”

The older man slapped the guy gently and set his gaze onto his. The fair skinned one gulped audibly, his Adam’s apple moving up and down, when he finally smiled and heaved a long, shivery sigh.

“I am ready.” Junjin said.

“Great.” Hyesung chuckled. “My baby bird is getting married.” He was almost tearing up.

Junjin was too, as his lower lip quivered and he ogled at the older man. Hyesung shoved his arm and hugged the younger man quickly, and told him that he will be by his side in the altar if he got too nervous. But Junjin just smiled and said, “Hey…I am marrying the most perfect guy in the whole world. Why would I get nervous?”

Hyesung hugged him one last time and then glanced at the wristwatch.

“It’s time.”

                ***

Andy walked back and forth in his room and inhaled and exhaled. Eric was trying to calm him down, but the maknae managed to do it by himself very well. Except that once in a while he forgot he was trying to calm himself down and commenced hyperventilating. Fortunately, he had prepared some paperbags to breathe in.

“Everything will be just fine.” The hyung said.

“I know.” Andy nodded.

“You will be happy and everything.”

“I know.”

“Then why are you nervous?” Eric snorted.

The youngest in their group glared at him, hands on his hips. “I am getting married babo!” he snapped loudly. “I would not be normal if I weren’t nervous.”

Eric laughed and made the last checks, before he glimpsed at the clock on the wall and pushed Andy towards the door. It was very important to open the doors at the same time with Hyesung, so the two could see each other for the first time on that day.

So when the doors finally opened, Andy forgot how nervous he had been and Junjin just kept smiling. The guests turned around on their seats, stood up, and saw the two guys lacing their fingers and tardily walking towards the well decorated aisle in their beautiful white suits.

Minwoo and Dongwan were gasping, the older one already sobbing.

When Andy and Junjin finally stood at the altar, only looking at each other, the guests sat down and silenced down to listen to the vows.

                ***

“…husband and husband.” The priest chanted. “You may now kiss the groom.” He gestured towards Junjin, who cupped Andy’s face and kissed him softly.

The bestmen were smiling, Minwoo was crying already, and Dongwan just held him and was proud of the youngest guys. Andy blushed adorably red, and Junjin was abruptly very shy, as they stepped down from the higher stair and bowed at the guests who clapped.

“They are so happy.” Minwoo sighed, head on Dongwan’s shoulder.

“They are.” Dongwan agreed, sliding his hand into his suit pocket. “Minwoo ya,” the older man moved his head and looked up at the handsome face.

“What?” He questioned.

Dongwan hesitated for a while, since they were at a wedding right now, and then looked down at the small box he had pulled out. Minwoo retreated from him, gasped and covered his mouth with his two palms. His boyfriend was smiling shyly, pink colour tinting his cheeks when he opened it and a ring emerged.

“Lee Minwoo, will you marry me?”

Andy, Junjin, Hyesung and Eric saw Dongwan slipping the big ring to the particular finger, and Minwoo pouncing onto the man and embracing him and kissing him.

The other members smirked and were ready to celebrate other wedding quite soon.

Chapter 16: I.. I regret the fact that i didnt read this fic as soon as i found it, which was months ago. I tend to be afraid of the outcome of a triangle love themed fic therefore I'll try my best to avoid reading that kind of fic. But then, I decided to women up n read this fic since from my experience, reading your fic never ends in disappointment.

and i read it..

and...
...omo, i dont know how to articulate my feelings, tho one thing for sure, I thank you for writing this beautiful piece of fic. I love the development of each character, especially Wannie n Minu. I love how their love are initiated by mutual hatred toward each other. Dongwan character here manages to turn my head from Jinnie who is my bias.
aaanyway, thanks for writing! I'll sit here n wait eagerly for your newest fics, especially 'My Own Secret' and 'I (dont) Want You'
