Chapter 11

Two Timing

Chapter 11

The door made a sound, and Minwoo raised his head up. He was about to greet his best friend, when Hyesung walked directly into his room and closed the door. Minwoo cringed and stood up, proceeded to the room and knocked the door.

“Hyesungie…” he whispered.

“Go away.” The younger man told him.

“What happened?” Minwoo asked.

“I was dumped.”

The older man stepped back, hand onto his chest, and face showing aghast. He gasped and stared at the door as if it had been Hyesung and then leaned to it and pressed his forehead onto the surface. He planted his hand onto the door knob and thumped it. The door was locked.

“Hyesung…”

“Go away!” It was an angry scream this time. “It’s you he wants!” Hyesung added crossly, and threw something at the door.

The short man crouched down and covered his face with his hands. He was safe from the throwing, but he could still feel like it had hit him. So Eric chose him. He actually chose him. Minwoo should have been happy, and he was a bit, but he could not really rejoice now.

                ***

“Can we talk?” Dongwan heard weakly. “I really think we should talk.”

“Minwoo, I…where?” He questioned and gripped the phone sterner. “I’ll be right there.” He responded to Minwoo’s silent explanation, threw the jacket on him and sprang out of the apartment.

Several minutes later, he was sitting at the café owned by Andy, and turned towards the door every time the bell above the door chinked. After three times the older man finally stood by it, seeming rather down and devastated. Dongwan pulled him the chair and then moved back to his own seat. They remained silent, neither looking at one another.

Andy came several times, asked what they wanted, but he was sent away all those times, because the two were in the middle of something. But again, they just sat in silence, looking at the other customers and listening to other conversations.

“If you aren’t going to speak, I think I should leave.” Dongwan began.

“No, I just…I don’t know how to say this.” Minwoo scratched his un-itching scalp. “I just…I…I heard that Eric chose me.”

Dongwan’s heart skipped a beat.

“And I really wanna try it with him.” And now it broke into miserable pieces. “Which means that we two are not meant to be.” Minwoo stood up and grabbed his jacket.

“Tell me this.” he stopped. “If he had not chosen you, would you be mine now?” Dongwan interrogated, forehead wrinkly and worried.

The older man looked at him, forming his lips to a very opposite answer compared to his heart, as he looked at the door of the café and muttered, “No. I wouldn’t come to you.” Dongwan bowed his head, bit his cheeks and held his hand on the chest, crumbling the fabric. When Minwoo was gone, he silently let the tears flow.

                ***

Hyesung finally got up from the bed when the door of his and Minwoo’s apartment was opened. It was not Minwoo, since he had left straightaway after hearing that Eric had chosen him. Eric had not only dumped Hyesung, but he had fired him too. So this day was not great for Jung Pil Kyo.

“Hyung?” the whisper emitted behind the knocked door. “It’s Jinnie.”

“And Andy.” The other mellow voice greeted.

“What do you want?” Hyesung growled from his room, hand already on the doorknob. “If it’s not good news, don’t tell me. I’ve already received my share of those.” He spoke and pressed his forehead onto the surface.

Junjin looked at his boyfriend and shrugged, lifted his leg up and slammed it against the door. Andy gasped when it fell from the hinges and Hyesung yelled something angrily when he fell together with the wooden thing. The baby bird apologised nonchalantly and entered, grasping Andy’s hand and feeling it burning. He sure loved that brief show.

“Get out of my room!” The mommy bird exclaimed.

“No.” Junjin shook his head. “We won’t leave until you tell what happened.”

“You know already what happened.” Hyesung whispered. “And I do not wish to tell about it anymore, so don’t ask anymore. Can you please go now?”

The two guys sitting on the bed just shook their heads in unison and then fixed their gazes at the hyung, who did not even look good. He had been crying endlessly, and even though Junjin wanted to insult how worn out the face looked like, he just kept his mouth shut.

“I saw Minwoo hyung and Dongwan hyung at my café.” Andy stated. “And I tried to eavesdrop, but they were very secretive. Only thing I saw was Dongwan breaking down into tears.” He continued, lacing his fingers with Junjin. “I asked what had happened.”

“What did he say?” Hyesung questioned.

“That he is exhausted.” The barista answered. “I know he lied, but…”

“But what?” Junjin asked this time.

“He kept holding his chest.” Andy explained. “Like it hurt.”

Hyesung and Junjin exchanged glances and then looked at the maknae, who kept staring at something on the wall intensely. He then raised his head and pouted.

“Is it possible,” he commenced. “…that he is in love with Eric hyung too?”

***

Eric opened the door and flashed a gorgeous smile to the younger man. Minwoo was smiling back at him. Then his arms went around the neck and they hugged in the middle of the corridor. The hands roamed around and d soft areas, until the tall man pulled off and the cheek softly. Slowly he leaned in and let their lips meet.

Minwoo brought his hands onto the jaw when the kiss deepened. He pressed his front against Eric’s and got into his warm embrace. Their bodies were lacing and becoming one, arms around each other. The short man rose onto his toes to get a better taste of Eric and the  CEO placed his hands onto the bum.

“I love you Lee Minwoo.” Eric confessed against the forehead.

The younger lad grinned, cheeks and lips red from the passionate kiss, as he withdrew, cupped the jaw and whispered, “I like you too, Eric-sshi.”

Chapter 16: I.. I regret the fact that i didnt read this fic as soon as i found it, which was months ago. I tend to be afraid of the outcome of a triangle love themed fic therefore I'll try my best to avoid reading that kind of fic. But then, I decided to women up n read this fic since from my experience, reading your fic never ends in disappointment.

and i read it..

and...
...omo, i dont know how to articulate my feelings, tho one thing for sure, I thank you for writing this beautiful piece of fic. I love the development of each character, especially Wannie n Minu. I love how their love are initiated by mutual hatred toward each other. Dongwan character here manages to turn my head from Jinnie who is my bias.
aaanyway, thanks for writing! I'll sit here n wait eagerly for your newest fics, especially 'My Own Secret' and 'I (dont) Want You'
