I am so sorry it took a while. 

And in fact, I had no willing whatsoever, and the evening was rather awful and I was not in the mood, but I forced myself to write. So you can possibly see it's a bit...meh and ;;;; and nooooo. Also, when you have finished, don't let it shock you. There are still chapters left and I will do the ending I originally planned lol. Tho....many things in this fic have changed even if I had planned something different.

Chapter 10

The door closed loudly and Dongwan stared at the empty spot in front of him. Eric had rushed out. He had actually rushed out. No words, not even a small glance, he just rushed out. Goguma and Gomdori were nuzzling to Dongwan’s leg when he felt the lower lip quivering and the tears stinging in his eyes. The dogs looked at him confused and before he could even exhale, the tears rolled down.

Hyesung was in the kitchen when Junjin marched there and screamed happily. Minwoo entered the room too and frowned bemused. The youngest man grabbed him by the shoulders and kissed him to his cheek, while he pulled Hyesung by the collar and danced with him. The hyungs were extremely bewildered, and then Junjin screamed, “ANDY IS MINE!”

“Congratulations!” Hyesung said, tapping the back.

“Good for you.” Minwoo grinned. “It was about time though.”

Junjin was gruntled, as he smiled extremely widely and seemed as smitten as he could possibly be. He lifted his hands onto the hips and heaved a long sigh. Then he just did a brief cute dance and looked at the two older men merrily.

“And what about you two? Anything new with Eric?” He asked.

“Well…” Hyesung rubbed his right forearm and blushed. “He and I, we, umm…” he turned dark red, in turns looking at Minwoo and Junjin. “We did it twice in his office yesterday.” He blurted out fast.

Minwoo’s mouth got wide open, as the misbelief had been drawn all over his face. Junjin did not know how to react so he just chuckled and thought everything was fine. He had thought that both of his hyungs had seen the meat stick of the CEO. Apparently not, when you glimpsed at Minwoo and noticed him getting tense and shocked at the same time.

“You…twice?” Minwoo questioned.

“What?” Hyesung spoke. “I thought—you didn’t do it?!” he gasped.

The older man shook his head rapidly.

“I could not…go through.” He responded muffled, looking down at his feet. “I had to leave.”

“To where?” Hyesung scowled.

Minwoo closed his eyes and had to lean onto his hand as the memory of Dongwan and him downstairs came into his mind. He had been weak there. He had just sunk into the kiss. He had not thought about anything; not even Eric. He had just wanted to kiss Kim Dongwan. It sounded absurd, but he had really wanted to kiss him after he had shut him up with one.

“Minwoo?” Hyesung asked.

“Ah, no…I just…I came home.” The shortest man answered. “I just…came home.”

Dongwan swiftly stood up from the armchair and ran to the door where his best friend was removing his shoes. Eric glanced at him angrily, and then walked past him, nudging his shoulder to Dongwan’s. The younger man understood that he deserved that, and so he just watched how Eric advanced their sofa area and sat down, ignoring the short man and taking Gomdori onto his lap.

“Eric.” Dongwan finally spoke. “We need to talk.”

“Are you now in love with Pil Kyo too?” The older one retorted.

The short guy exhaled and shoved his hands into his pockets, leering at his feet. He then proceeded to the armchair and slumped down, grabbing the older man’s knees into his hands. Eric was still ignoring him, playing with both of the dogs right now.

“Aren’t you even going to ask what I will do about it?” Dongwan questioned. “Eric, look at me.” The CEO turned his dark eyes at him. “I swear that I will not do anything until you’re done with this mess. And…and if you happen to choose Minwoo at the end, I promise I will pack my bags and leave.”

“You’d really do that?” Eric interrogated softly.

The younger one nodded and then said, “If he were to move in with you, with…with us, I would not be able to live. I would not want to hear what you do every night. I would not be happy if I saw you with him, or him with you. I would be in pain.”

The taller one raised his head up and stared at the sad and panicked eyes. Dongwan was rubbing the knees, furrowing his eyebrows and making more wrinkles appear onto his already very wrinkly face. That was a sign that Dongwan was sincerely sorry.

“And if you were to choose Minwoo over Pil Kyo, I will be happy for you. I sincerely will. I will even be your best man in your wedding.” The younger one babbled. “And…” he bowed his head.

“Go on. Say it.” Eric commanded gently.

“And if you really want Pil Kyo…” Dongwan whispered. “I will not even touch Minwoo, unless you let me do so.”

Eric bit his cheeks, glaring someplace else but Dongwan. Then he snorted and shook his head, mumbling loudly enough, “You really do love him, huh?”

It had been a while since the cheeks had turned that red and the eyes had become so shy. Eric could not recall when Dongwan had actually been in love. And to think that he had hated Minwoo since the beginning and supported the relationship with Pil Kyo meant a lot to him. The eyes were twinkling when he set his gaze to them and smiled. That was not a sign that he would let go of Minwoo. It was a smile that assured Dongwan that Eric had comprehended what he had said and was ready to accept that. If he were to lose his best friend after all this, it would be sad. But—

“I kissed him.”

“W…what!?”

Hyesung sat behind his desk and snickered. He had prepared something for Eric and could not wait any longer for him to see it. When the CEO appeared, walked out of the elevator and approached the secretary, Hyesung stood up and bowed, smiling. He said a happy ‘good morning’ to him and even waved his hand to catch the man’s attention.

But…

Eric neglected him. He just walked past him, greeted some random co-worker, and entered the office. He did not smile at Hyesung. He did not say hi to him. And he did not sit on the desk, which Hyesung had once hated more than anything. Eric had just sipped his coffee and that’s it. Not even glances had been changed, as the tall man had disappeared from his sight.

“Pil Kyo-sshi, could you come in here for couple of minutes?” The husky voice questioned in the device.

“Yes, sir.” Hyesung responded, heaved a sigh and walked towards the door. “What is it, sir?”

Eric was back at him, watching out from the huge window. The younger man could not see him, but he was 100% sure that the boss had the fingers together like an evil man. That or he was petting a white cat. Hyesung could not really tell, because he was paralyzed all of a sudden. When the chair flipped around, and the dark eyes glared at him, he felt the chills on his spine.

“Sir…” Hyesung whimpered.

“Pil Kyo-sshi…I am sorry.”
