Chapter 14

Two Timing

Chapter 14

Hyesung couldn’t breathe at all. He just felt emotionless, standing there in front of the man who he could not read anymore. Once he had seen the loving in the eyes, and caring in the face, but now he could not read the CEO’s face. When he had been dumped, and Eric had told him they were not meant to be, he had lost his ability to read the older man. Just like that.

His body had made him follow the man, even if his mind didn’t want that. And his mouth made him say the words, his lips didn’t want to form. But he was happy he had followed him, because this was the last time he would see Eric Mun alone. Eventually he had allowed the tears so he would not be weak in the future then.

“I know you love Minwoo, and that Minwoo loves you.” Hyesung began, every single word hurting him. “And I know that we did an awful thing. But even though you were my type and I liked you (and saw you first), I don’t want this thing to break things up with you and Minwoo.” He sobbed. “He would not endure without you.” He flashed a smile that died underneath the tears, and put his hand onto the CEO’s upper arm. “If he is confused, he just likes you. Take care Eric-sshi.” Hyesung pulled his hand off and turned around

‘You love him! YAH! Where are you going!? YAH! You love him!’ Hyesung’s heart kept chanting.

“Hyesung ah,” he startled after hearing that and looked over his shoulder. “Are you sure it was just like?” Eric questioned.

The little prince turned his body around, facing the man fully, a semi smile plastering upon his face as he said, “No, I mean, of course Minwoo loves you.”

Eric stepped closer and cupped the face, thumps wiping off tears that rolled down the chubby cheeks. Hyesung was bemused, lips parted, not understanding any part of his ex-date’s facial expressions. Therefore Eric stared directly into the eyes and made sure his words were clear this time.

“Are you sure you just liked me?” he asked.

                ***

Dongwan felt anger all over his body. People on the streets looked at him funnily, as he marched, hands in fists, gritting his teeth, and mumbled incoherent words for nothing. Kids stopped running around and hugged their moms because of the scary man. Dongwan just kept marching. And he kept mumbling Eric’s name like a curse was being laid on him.

As soon as he was at the restaurant, he pulled the door frantically open and stepped into the foyer, hands on his curvy hips. The receptionist was about to come to him, but he shoved his arm and looked around, chest rising after each heavy breath. The receptionist stumbled back after a slight push, and stopped repeating that there were no seats left in the eatery, as Dongwan saw the guy he was looking for.

“Lee Minwoo,” he raised his voice.

The said man shifted his whole body around, hugging a menu in his arms, as he gulped and stared at the younger man bewildered. Dongwan had his arm up, finger pointing at him. Everyone had turned their gazes at the two short guys, confused by the sudden interruption of their dinner. After seconds, the arm of the younger man began to shiver and he had to put it down.

The angry glare was brushed off by the sad and devastating frown.

“Don’t go.” Dongwan said. “Please, don’t leave.”

                Flashback!

“Were you ever going to tell me?” Eric questioned.

“Minwoo told me not to. I decided to keep my promise and just let it slide.” The best friend answered.

“So never.” The tall one sighed.

“Why do you care anyways Eric? You already got him! He is yours ok? I will stop fighting and be happy for you. He is obviously overwhelmed. And I want him to be.” Dongwan exhaled. “Sure I will always think how our kiss was perfect, and how it ended to a rejection, but if you two get married—“ he inhaled deeply. “—I will be there like nothing happened.”

Eric was expressionless for several seconds, until he brought his hands onto the shoulders of his best friend, squished them and smiled. Dongwan scowled at his best friend’s bizarre reaction and blinked his eyes. In a blink of an eye, the tall man leaned down, air puffing to the ear, and whispered, “Minwoo decided to leave. Go get him.”

Dongwan pushed Eric away from him and hurried out of the café, not looking back.

It was his turn now.

End of the flashback!

Minwoo furrowed his eyebrows sadly, people still staring at him intensely, anticipating an answer, when Dongwan stepped closer and hesitated whether to touch him or not.

“Please Minwoo…don’t leave me.” He sobbed.

Chapter 16: I.. I regret the fact that i didnt read this fic as soon as i found it, which was months ago. I tend to be afraid of the outcome of a triangle love themed fic therefore I'll try my best to avoid reading that kind of fic. But then, I decided to women up n read this fic since from my experience, reading your fic never ends in disappointment.

and i read it..

and...
...omo, i dont know how to articulate my feelings, tho one thing for sure, I thank you for writing this beautiful piece of fic. I love the development of each character, especially Wannie n Minu. I love how their love are initiated by mutual hatred toward each other. Dongwan character here manages to turn my head from Jinnie who is my bias.
aaanyway, thanks for writing! I'll sit here n wait eagerly for your newest fics, especially 'My Own Secret' and 'I (dont) Want You'
