Princess
Chasing HurricanesDays passed in their small neighborhood, weeks maybe even and Ryu’s small gang started to become the center of attention. Not that they weren’t already but word traveled fast. The commotion with Top outside of the bar was now what most people talked about, some people even going as far as calling him her kryptonite.
He had to have been someone important to survive getting Ryu that mad. I mean, she even had the gun pointed straight to his head but ended up just walking away. He’s somebody. I guess that one saying is right. Even superman has his kryptonite.
Ryu could hear the whispering and mumbling behind her back and it didn’t take a genius to figure out what they were talking about. She slammed the shot glass onto the counter, gaining everyone’s attention. Her and the crew decided to swing by the bar again before heading out for another hit. The place fell silent with only her crew moving, smiling, knowing something bad was about to happen.
“Anyone got some they want to get off their chest while I’m here?” She questioned as she eyed the last few drops of Vodka in her glass.
“Nice job. You’ve pissed her off” GD smirked, ordering another drink. The bartender obliged and started mixing a few liquors, pouring the liquid in a glass for the boy after he finished.
Her crew sat facing the people inside the bar, while Ryu faced the drinks behind the counter. Taeyang's eyes widened as one of the guys stood up and walked over to them, stopping only a few inches before them. GD grinned as he downed the shot.
“Got something you want to say?” The man smirked and nodded.
“Yeah. I do. A little girl like her doesn’t need to be on top anymore. This isn’t a game, ya know? Why doesn’t the little princess go home and play with her dolls?” He teased and Ryu’s head shot up as an image flashed through her head.
Why doesn’t the little princess go home and play with her dolls?
“What the did you just-” GD started but was cut off by a loud bang that rang through his ears, echoing off of the bar walls as blood splattered on their faces. Everyone fell back into silence as yet another body dropped to the floor. The bartender sighed, as he shook his head.
“Anybody else? Say what you want now.” Ryu yelled throughout the bar. When no one answered she clenched her teeth and stormed out of the bar.
“Hey, I know exactly where this is going! One of you get rid of him first, then I don’t give two s about what you do or where you go.” The bartender stated as he looked down at Ryu’s crew. GD smiled back at him before nodding.
“Taeyang and Daesung will get him. CL, stay here and watch over them. I’m going after her.”
They knew that after Ryu, GD was second in command so they didn’t question nor disobey him. GD threw them a quick smile before standing up and following Ryu out. It didn’t take long for him to find her walking down the street.
Speeding up his steps he swung his arm around her shoulder and smiled brightly.
“Hey princess. Want to go play with some dolls?” Ryu glared at the boy with hatred.
“Do you want to die?”
“You wouldn’t.” He smirked. She heaved a heavy sigh as the pair slowed their pace.
“Bring back bad memories?” GD questioned in a low tone. She looked up at him for a moment and then returned her gaze to the floor.
“My name is not princess. It’s Ryu.” She mumbled. GD looked down at the girl and for a second, he wasn’t sure who exactly was walking beside him anymore. She looked broken, vulnerable, sad and depressed. If it weren’t for the brown eyes that occasionally looked up at him and the spiked hoodie he would have never believed her to be who she is.
“Ryu…”
“Ya know, it’s been years now but stuff like that still gets to me.” Her eyes were filled with invisible tears that fell down her cheek and down to the ground. She refused to cry no matter how sad she was. She believed in staying strong and never showing anyone her weak side but he knew.
Ruffling her hair he smiled as she turned her gaze on him.
“You really were a pitiful little girl.” She opened to speak but nothing came out so instead, she decided to pout. There weren’t many people that ever saw her cute or weak side, her crew didn’t even know she had one but GD was different. It was because of him that she’s survived all these years. It was because of GD that she survived at all.
“Stop being cute. You know people will take advantage of that fact.”
“People don’t even know I can be cute so chill out”
“Who’s cute?” A voice half yelled as it came up behind the pair and practically crashed into them, wrapping their arms around both of them and squeezing themselves in between them.
“Yah! Taeyang! Did you get rid of the body yet?” He smirked and looked down at his shirt.
“Can’t you tell?” He questioned making the other two look down at him. Ryu wrinkled her nose while GD burst into laughter.
“Ya know, I really didn’t plan on being covered in blood today.”
“Does that mean we’re done for the day?” CL questioned as she joined the others with Daesung by her side. Ryu thought for a moment and nodded.
“Yeah, how about we go home and drink a few shots. Smoke a few blunts and just call it a day.”
“You’re the boss.” Daesung chimed in as he folded his hands behind his head, looking up at the blue sky.
“Top, we haven’t gotten anywhere. Don’t you think it’s about time to call it a day?” Seungri mumbled, dragging himself alongside the older boy.
Five blocks away Top and Seungri searched the neighborhood, asking anyone they came across for any useful information on Ryu and her crew.
“They all keep repeating themselves like some kinda broken record. They’re the top dogs around here don’t mess with them, no one knows her hideout, she became friends with that 5zic guy-”
“Look, if you want to go home you can. I’m staying here for another few hours and look around.”
Seungri sighed and put on a tired smile.
“I’m not leaving you here. Someone has to make sure you don’t get shot looking for her, right?” Top smiled down at the younger boy before nodding off into a different direction.
“Come on, let’s check there.” Seungri huffed and once again dragged his feet behind him.
“Can we at least stop for a drink or something?” Top furrowed his brows at Seungri.
“You don’t drink.” Seungri smiled and shook his head.
“Right now, I think I’d be willing to try one though.”
“So, when do we go through with our plan?” Creme questioned 5zic as their crew walked into the bar, sitting down at one of the tables in the very back.
He grinned as he gulped down the last bit of the drinks they had picked up earlier.
“Give them a little longer. It’s only been about a week or two. We have to get them to trust us to a certain extent.”
Creme nodded at their leader.
“And you really think this’ll work?” Sims piped up from his seat in the corner.
“Why wouldn’t it? She’ll have no reason to doubt us and she already can’t stand that guy anymore. It’ll be perfect” 5zic stated with a smug grin.
“And then, this entire little town will be ours to rule. We’ll be the top dogs around here and no one will be able to stop us after we take good care of our friends that is.” The crew grinned and nodded, laughing to themselves over how easy the next few weeks would be.
“Two more weeks tops. Then we take whats ours.”
