NINETEEN:

Minwoo stepped out in the main door, he kneeled down and fixed his shoe laces then walked down to the streets. “That guy knows it anyway...so?” he thought and then he remembered that Andy’s diary was with Donghae and he must destroy the evidence before the police will arrest him if they knew that he was suspect in the case

He went at the flower shop and bought bouquet of white roses for Rin. Afterwards, when Minwoo near at the apartment he stayed with her, he excited with nervous feeling to see Rin after one week he stayed in his auntie’s house

“Rin!” A bright smile appeared on Minwoo’s face when he saw Rin was okay, sitting in the couch and watching news, when the girl saw him “You left me alone here” she said in frustrate tone

Minwoo immediately show the bouquet of white roses as he apologized to her and Rin saw it, she looked away and denied him. The boy sighed and he put down the bouquet in the table “I will prepare dinner for us”

Every time Rin heard it, she remembered Donghae of how he prepared the food and he knows the kind of food she wants. Does she miss him? Why she chose to be with Minwoo instead?

She looked and shocked when Aki was on news, were interviewed with a reporter about the unsolved case. A gentle smile the girl showed and calmly said, “Although the things got easier, I will not put myself down as I am continue fighting this case for Andy’s justice”

The reporter got goose bumps as he said, “What a brave you are, Ms. Aki and the citizens must be happy to see you help solving case here in Korea as you never forget where you came from”

Aki chuckled and bowed as she pleaded, “May we should stop here for a while, I have business to deal with”

“Who cares about you, Aki?” Rin loudly said and used the remote to turned off the television, “I bet she will not find you unless she found the diary,” she said to Minwoo who was almost done preparing dinner for them. Rin went at the kitchen room and hugged warmly Minwoo, “Please stay here with me and hide together” she said and Minwoo said ‘yes’ to her, he patted Rin’s head

While they were eating, Minwoo told her that he went at Donghae’s house and he thought that Donghae has a new girlfriend and Rin shook her head in disbelief, “Donghae will not easily cure his fragile heart” and she confidentially said that Donghae was still looking for her

“Should I kill Ryeowook?” Minwoo asked Rin as he changed the topic

“To shut his mouth? That is good idea but it is somewhat too fast, let us make it sooner” she suggested and took a bite of bibimbap and Minwoo agreed on Rin’s suggestion, “How do you know I’m the one who shut Gyu Yeon in the day you and Donghae had conversation with him?”

Rin smirked and then she laughed, “Very obvious that it was you, Minwoo” she paused before she continued, “I want Donghae realize he met the person that he mustn’t met before, if he didn’t do anything that makes me mad, maybe he will not encounter this game”

“Imagine that someday Donghae will team up with your sister Aki...what you will do?”Minwoo asked her again and Rin clasped her hands, “Remember they—“ Rin did not let him continue what he has to say as she hushed him in angry tone, “I have plan if it’s happen”

“And I hope it will not happened” Minwoo mumbled

Meanwhile, Donghae was stared at Aki, whom was serious reading at the diary with black thick glasses and the boy thought it fits her wearing a glasses. She use her diary give a clues to someone who will read this before she dead...what a genius girl Aki thought as she amazed on how Andy wrote in the diary, it’s not just ordinary journal but a weapon to knock out the person who was hiding now

Aki was done reading the first part of the diary as she proceed to the second part of the diary, she became more serious when she read it, feel Andy’s sadness, depression and who was thirst to let that person read her diary as she wrote everything that she must

When Donghae saw the girl’s expression while she was reading the second part of the diary, he remembered of how he felt when he read it and for him, he will never forget of how he hurt he was and think as a memory. He unexpectedly saw Aki silently crying and put down the diary on the table, he took the diary and she was in the part that Andy’s message that Donghae did not read it

I will say thank you to the person who understands me

My beloved cousin

Who stay at my side until this day....

Also that person does not knows me much

I will say thank him sincerely and I will pray him that he will stay brave and humble person. In addition, have a perfect girlfriend because he deserves to, as he will move on from her, who brought him into darkness that he should not enter that road.

I am almost there for you and when we meet, let us keep an eye to the person whom I trust okay?

Do not worry; I already forgiven Minwoo and Rin since it is my last day in this world and all I want now is justice...

A goodbye from the Diarist

Donghae sat beside Aki, he remove the glasses and wiped her tears used his thumbs and said, “We have to brave for Andy...I believe we will find them together” he extend his pinky finger to Aki and the girl committed a promise to Donghae.  Aki sniffed as she wiped her tears out, “I’m glad that I understand the victim’s feeling before she died”

Donghae smiled and embraced the detective and mumbled, “You did a great job Detective Aki” he kept repeated it and then he ruffled Aki’s hair. This scenery is very familiar to me she thought

“Shall we discuss the diary?” Aki went back to the normal and she removed Donghae’s arms from her. Donghae nodded and said, “Before that, there was something I want to show you”

The boy showed the letter from Rin as when Aki read it ...Next month. Hmmmm...The way she wrote it.... she seem serious in this letter she thought and she gave it back to Donghae. “It depends on you, if you will talk her or not” she said, “How do you meet my sister by the way?”

“When I move here in Seoul after my parents’ death and it was summer,” Donghae said. Aki nodded as she satisfied in his answer then she stood up and said ‘goodnight’ to Donghae as she walk towards to her room. Donghae decide to stay in living room in a while, I want to ask her about why she became detective in her young age, he shook his head and said to himself, “Might she will deny it”

Saturday morning, Donghae did not saw Aki in her room and thought that she is on her job then he decide to take a walk in the playground near in his house and it was the place where he met Rin and Eunhyuk. When Donghae went there, he saw a pale girl who was sitting alone in swing and he has doubts that it was Rin

The girl caught him as she ran towards to him and hugged him “Donghae! I knew it you will take a visit here” and Donghae knew that it was Rin who hugging him, he pushed away softly from him and asked, “I thought I will see you again next week” and then he thought that next week it was November

Donghae looked and though she changed much, she become pale than is usual and slightly fat. “Since you are here...say it” he said in impatient tone and cursed himself on his mind that why he went here instead staying at home and do household chores. Rin felt silent and looked away from him “Let me ask this, is the second part of the diary with you?”

“Yes”

Rin glanced at him in shock and she gripped her arms, “Maybe I will not tell the reason since you know it”, Donghae kept control his anger to Rin and said, “You should not play detective games in the start”

“Do you think I like that?”

“Then you are such an idiot” Donghae directly said to her, “You force yourself in nonsense”

“Yes you are right!” Rin admitted what Donghae said to her; “Because of you!” she pointed him as she blamed him

Donghae clenched his fist and he remains cool, “That I claim the popularity that it should be yours?” Rin surprised in what Donghae said, also she does not know what she has to say. The boy paused in short and continued, “It all starts when we were studying together in a middle school and I didn’t think that you made me stupid since I like you those days, I took your place as first honor in overall top students and being valedictorian in our batch. I think you hate more when we were in relationship as the people think that you are always behind me like a shadow even you show to the people that you are braver than me and thanks to Andy, I knew that my side thoughts were right . I hate myself to become friends with Minwoo, I hate myself because I love a person that I shouldn’t and I hate myself being softheaded from the start as I thought that I will be happy with you after being sorrow the death of my parents”

Donghae paused and took a breath before he added, “You are most selfish person I met as you show your true colors to me”, the boy heaved as he released his heartache he felt when he finally knew the truth. “I wish someday Minwoo will regret loving you,” he said and which Rin decide to slap him, Donghae held her arm as he avoid himself to get slap from Rin. “Minwoo is the only understand who I am and accept who I am!” she yelled, “We are both hating you!”

“Then what a great couple you two have” Donghae said coldly and pushed Rin hardly as she fell on the ground and before Donghae left her behind, Rin called his name loudly as she has say something to him

“Did you meet Aki?” Rin asked him

“Yeah, your twin sister and she were staying with me” he replied

Rin stood up, stared at him before she continued, “You already meet her before she went in Switzerland with my father”

Donghae glanced at her as his attention was caught and asked her, “When?” and Rin felt silent in short as she thought that Donghae was curious, “You two met in this place”, she said. She was telling that the girl Donghae met in playground was Aki, who makes him happy everyday when they were kids as they were playing during summer.

“That means, you met me when I studied in Myonji Middle School?” he directly asked Rin and the girl replied him ‘yes’. Donghae walked away as he decide to go back in his house and while he was walking towards in his house, “The girl I like was Aki?” he kicked the empty can hardly as he felt angrier with Rin, “So from the start it was a fudging lie” he muttered
