SEVENTEEN:

In the police station, Aki was typing on computer for arrest warrant at Minwoo, and she assigned a group of finding his hideout because when Detective Park’s group went at his house, Minwoo’s mother said that he was not went back at home in two weeks

A man came in on her office, put the papers and said “Ms. Aki, Choi Minwoo has been absent in two weeks at his school”, “Okay and aside from him, who else is absent in his section?” she asked, a man looked at the paper “Uhm..Lee Rin” he said and he asked the detective “Why?” 

Aki glanced at him as she stopped typing “Might that person has connection with the suspect” she said as she pretend that she doesn’t know the person and the man amazed on her “I suggest you should make a arrest warrant in this person too”

“Nope” she answered

“And why? You said a while ago that person might has connection with Choi Minwoo”

“Yeah I said that” Aki said and started typing again on the computer, “It’s better to make that person as a witness in the case because we might have a wrong guess,” she added.

A man looked at wristwatch as he checked the time “Ms. Aki, I have a meeting with Detective Shin about the case”, Aki said “Don’t tell me he will hold a press conference about the suspect”. The man nodded at her then the girl heaved, “Tell him that he’s stupid and he has no rights to hold that thing,” she told the man in angry tone “Let Detective Park decide everything and this is order from Detective Aki” she added

Meanwhile, Donghae was cleaning in a room “Is she okay with this sofa bed?” he asked himself as he place the sofa bed beside a study table also he checked the switch and the lights if it’s still okay then Donghae put a new light bulb, last is cabinet and he removed the dust. The boy finished his task as he decides to watch television shows and wait arrival of Aki. Someone pressed the doorbell as it rang and when he took a peak in the window, no one was standing in front gate and he saw a white paper outside

He checked if no one was looking at him and went outside, took the paper and went back. Donghae felt anxious, thought in what will happen next after he read the letter, if it is a warning letter from Minato that he will kill him next after Andy. When he opened the letter, it was from Rin.

I will take a visit as there was something I want to say next month and advance happy birthday Donghae- Rin

Donghae looked at the calendar and its October 14 as tomorrow is his birthday, he pouted as he does not know what kind of celebration he will do in his birthday, “Maybe I will buy and eat strawberry cake tomorrow” and then someone called his name outside, he was sure that it was Aki

Aki waved and greeted lively at him, he can’t himself to compared Aki at her twin sister Rin, who was cold and slightly immature as it was big opposite to Aki, a happy-go-lucky and mature girl as a detective. “Want fish cake later?” she asked him as she showed a supper and Donghae agreed

Donghae helped the girl carried the things to the room and Aki told him that she can leave her and Donghae asked Aki if she ate lunch as the girl said ‘Yes’ to him. When the boy exited the room, Aki opened the luggage and put her clothes on the cabinet, she remembered what Eunhyuk, her brother said before she will stay on Donghae’s house that it was his birthday tomorrow and she decide to prepare something on his birthday even though her relationship on him was awkward

Cold evening, Donghae realized that he slept in the couch and he went at the kitchen room, as he smells something good and saw Aki was preparing a dinner for them, “Let’s just eat fish cake” said the boy and Aki glared at him “It’s better to eat kimchi soup with fish cake especially in this cold evening”

“You bought tofu?” he asked as he saw Aki was putting a tofu on the soup, “Yup” she replied. He felt odd when he did not use the kitchen in preparing a food Cooking is my everyday routine he thought, pouting while watching her cooking

Aki grinned “Ta-dah!” she exclaimed as the kimchi soup was cooked and prepared to eat. Donghae place and help her put the food on the bowl and Aki thanked him as the boy smiled slightly her. Until Donghae confirmed that Aki has different aura as she was opposite of Rin’s and hoping that he will get along with her someday

While they were eating dinner, “Want put spicy sauce on fish cake?” asked the girl and Donghae shook his head, “If you want to then go,” he said. It is delicious, I should try to cook this next time he thought while eating the kimchi soup, “Tell me, why you decide to go here in Korea just to solve the case?”

“The Korean Police Force, they send an e-mail and it said that help them solve the case about the death of Andy. In that message, they told everything and I feel apologetic to the victim and her parents” she directly answered and finished the soup

Donghae gulped down the soup and take a bite of the fish cake, “Last, did we meet before?”

“What makes you think that?”

“I’m the first who ask, so you must answer my question first before yours,” he randomly said that is weird anyway he said on his mind. “Nope, this is our first conversation” she said and heaved “Maybe in your dreams” she said jokingly

Donghae almost slapped himself when he heard that, “Hey Detective Aki, I am asking in polite way,” he said and covered his mouth while laughing, “Therefore, I make you laugh in a corny joke,” she said as she laughed softly and looked away

Aki remembered what Donghae said a while ago and say, “I already answer your question thus you must answer my question also”, Donghae cleared his throat jokingly and directly said, “You remind me something”. The boy stood up and told her that he was one who will wash the dishes and go upstairs to sleep since it was already quarter to 9

“You said that” Aki said and put the dinnerware on the corner beside the sink then she went upstairs and said ‘Goodnight’ to Donghae

The girl cannot get over on their conversation, “Well it’s weird which it made me curious in that nonsense question” she said and paused as she deeply thinking in Donghae’s question and then Aki gasped, the hands was on her cheeks  as she remembered something “Aki... I’m begging you get over with it”
