I am a highschool werewolf named Crystal trying to survive AP and honors classes. Like many others on this site I enjoy writing and reading. As someone who writes for myself I created an AFF account to read others work, I never thought about posting my work up. Somehow with my own encouragement I put up a few works.

 

As someone whose main priority is family and school, writing is not my first priority. Don't get me wrong, writing means a lot to me but I can't give it the attention I want. I am not someone who will give weekly updates.

 

Writing to me is proving a message. As someone who is in the International Relations elective and had to write a current events report on a current issue every week for a whole school year (and part of this year) I have learned a lot. Form modern day slavery to drug/human trafficking, from genocides to organized crime. From social issues that plague America to issues that plague China and other nations. From someone who is taking AP World History (and loves the class) learning about history repeating itself and the countless revolutions, and how wars and the difference in majority opinion shape the current world. A few issues are hidden in Puzzle Pieces, but many more will be mentioned in Sorrows of the Prince. For me writing has never been about "escaping reality” it’s the element that keeps me chained to the ground.

Music: I listen to songs from many genres, I do not have a strict rule like only listening to songs by this artist or that genre. If I like the lyrics of a song I like the song.
