"Can you pretend that you like my company even just for today?"

"Fine. Just today.", Krystal said coldly but deep inside her heart was beating really fast.

"Thanks. Let's go to my hideout."

"Uhm... what are we going to there?"

"Why, are you scared? Haha." 

Krystal was amazed that L could laugh like that. She was supposed to follow L when she remembered her lessons.

"L, go ahead. I'll make a call first."

"What if you'll run away?" *pouts* "Hahaha.."

"I won't Your Highness. I know the way, I won't get lost. And aegyo does not suit you."

"I think you like the cold prince better.", L said while giving the smile that no one alive ever saw except Krystal. "Okay then, I'll wait."

L went ahead to his hideout and Krystal made the call.

"Oppa, please don't fetch me today. And please tell my teacher that I won't be taking the lessons today. I can go home on my own."

"And why is that?"

"Uhmm... I ... have an important thing to do..."

"Are you with someone?"

"I'm with my classmates. We need to finish this project."

"Your Uncle Kangta will find out."

"Don't worry. I'll make up for it tomorrow. I promise."

"Too bad. Someone's here to see you."

"Who?"

"It's a secret. Since you won't come home early today, you'll find out soon."

"Okay then. Guess that person has to wait."

She ended the call and went directly to L's hideout.

"I can run away right? I'll just have to buy a new bag and books. But why is it I don't want to?", Krystal murmured to herself.

She entered the small door at the side, the same way she entered a month ago. Nothing has really changed in the interior except for someone wearing an apron and cooking in the small kitchen.

"I'm here. I did not run away like you said."

"Good. Because I don't usually cook for someone you know. You have to pay billions just to taste my dishes.", L said without turning back.

"But... I want to ask you  a question. Why are you doing this?
