For the second time this week and second time in his life, Jongin found himself waiting at the school gates again. But before he can open his book to 

read, he received a text message. He was expecting to see one of Jongdae's energetic texts again, because he's the only one that messages him this 

often, but then he saw an unknown number.

I'll be right there. Are you at the gates already?

Even without the name, he knew that it was from Kyungsoo, he must've gotten the number from Jongdae. He used to just reply some lame texts or more 

so often he doesn't reply at all, but meeting Kyungsoo made him discover this playful streak in him.

After pressing send, he used both of his hands to cover his face. He felt so lame, but he can't help feeling excited, thinking about how Kyungsoo will reply 

to his message.

He waited, staring at his phone screen the whole time, but no text came. 

His mind was already going in a complete panic attack thinking about some smart excuse for his text when Kyungsoo's small figure emerged from inside 

the school. His cool image totally stripped off, as his facial muscles softened and he broke into a smile, like he was a kid given his favorite candy. And 

when Kyungsoo smiled at him, he was owned, Kyungsoo just had to say the word and he'll offer him his everything.

Kyungsoo let himself laugh a little when he saw Jongin's expression. "You look like an abandoned puppy, that's not so abandoned anymore."

His cool sweet voice was so intoxicating and with that laugh he knows he's doomed. 

"You're early." That was the only response his messed up mind could think of. Kyungsoo makes him so disorganized and distracted about everything 

else; like all his concentration getting narrowed down to only him.

"Yeah. Someone's taking care of the paperwork today. Let's go!" Kyungsoo motioned for him to follow as they started walking to the station. 

When Jongin saw the bus, he realized that if they take the ride they have 20 minutes at maximum together, even if he do take Kyungsoo all the way to 

their house. It was too short, just too short to be together. He wanted to be with him for more than that but how can he maximize their time.

"Uhm, Kyungsoo, is it okay if we... walk?" He's being demanding, he knows that, but he can't think of any other way, plus he's desperate.

Kyungsoo beamed at him, blinding him with that beautiful heart smile, but then he tried to control himself; trying not to act too excited with Jongin's 

suggestion. Then he faked fixing his hair before answering. While Jongin was struggling at his best to control himself from hugging that adorable little 

monster in front of him.
