He took a deep breath. He can feel the cold hand that gripped his. Kyungsoo's chest tightened and gave him immense pain when he thinks about 

how long he had been standing there waiting for him to come out. He felt so guilty. He felt like such a jerk. But he couldn't bring himself to grip the 

hand back. He inhaled once more before turning around, pulling his hand back in the process.

Kyungsoo's heart sank again as he saw Jongin's reddened cheeks and shivering lips, obviously due to the cold of the night. Before he knows it, 

the older already have his hands on Jongin's cheeks, scooping his face with his small hands and feeling how cold his skin is. 

"What were you doing?" he asked, worry laced in his voice. The skin under his touch felt like ice, but Jongin's still shivering lips curled into a smile 

as he stared at Kyungsoo's face.

"Waiting for you." he replied, like it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"But I..." Kyungsoo stopped. He fought the urge to withdraw his hands from Jongin's face as he remembered. He was about to say that he told Jongin 

to go home without him. His memories came back, now that he had overcome the surprise and worry in him. He had told him to go and leave without 

him but Jongin waited outside instead. 

The younger gripped the hand that rests on his face and gave it a squeeze, snuggling even closer to its warmth.

'You're so unfair.' Kyungsoo thought as he bit his lower lip to restrain a whimper from escaping him, his chest getting tighter again.

He took his hand back and turned away from Jongin. "Let's board the bus." he said, not even glancing at the taller boy behind him.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow. They won't be going home together anymore. Jongin's presence now will only be an empty space tomorrow. 

Kyungsoo's breathing started to weigh. It was getting harder to breathe. Jongin. If only he can own him forever. If only he can be the only one in his 

eyes. But no. He'll be replaced. He'll be forced out of Jongin's beatiful sweet world. He'll be nothing more than a part of all the broken hearts Jongin 

had left behind.

The bus was full so both of them had to ride it while standing up. Jongin stood overprotectively next to him but Kyungsoo didn't meet his gaze. He can 

feel that Jongin's warmth had returned but he was still slightly shivering and blowing at his own hand from time to time. 

He wanted to put his hand on his cheeks again, to check if his temperature is already back to normal but he clenched his fist just in time before he 

lifted it. He's losing control. He can feel it. He's wavering. He wouldn't be able to hold out much longer. His emotions are overflowing. It will just be a 

matter of time before he starts crying. They need to separate now or he'll break down.
