Thursday Morning
Weekly Lover5:30
Jongin's alarm chirped early that morning. He had adjusted it from 6:30 to 5:30 since Tuesday. Early? Yes. But it is a small thing in exchange for
picking up his wonderful boyfriend before 7:30 so they can go to school together. The sound of his clock no longer irritated him, because it currently
gives him the signal for the start of another beautiful day to be spent with Kyungsoo.
He grabbed his phone and decided to send a morning message to the said boyfriend. Before this, he haven't sent a single "Good morning" message
to Kyungsoo and now seems like a good time. He's already imagining about what reaction will he receive for the sudden message.
Good morning Kyun
He stopped and thought for a moment. He knows that he'll be a huge bother, but it's worth a shot if he can have the first dose of Kyungsoo's beautiful
voice in the morning. He lied back down on his bed and stared at his phone, fiddling with the screen before dialing his boyfriend's number. When he
heard the ring, he felt overwhelmingly nervous. He's just a click away from cancelling the call because he's not confident if Kyungsoo will pick up a
call this early, and being ignored will be a painful hit for him. After a couple of rings, the other side picked up and Jongin sat right up.
"Good morning, Soo." he happily chirped. His voice sounded too high even for his own ears. Too excited? He'll admit that he's elated that Kyungsoo
didn't ignore his call.
Giggles, were the first thing he heard through the phone and all his worries faded, now he's just glad he took the courage to call. The sound of the older's
voice made him impatient, it made him want to hurry up and get to his house and greet another day with Kyungsoo. Though, there's also a part of him
that wants to just lie down in bed and savor every minute of the call, listening and talking on the phone. This early in the day and Kyungsoo's making
him conflicted with his own decisions, again.
"Did I wake you up, Soo?" the younger said in the softest tone possible.
"No. I was already up." Kyungsoo replied in the same soft spoken way. Jongin heard the faint sounds of rustling cloth on the other side and realized
that Kyungsoo picked up the call and is still talking to him, even while he's busy dressing up for school.
Following the older, and getting guilty by just lying around, he also got up on bed and started getting ready to leave, with no plans of cutting the call
as he did so.
"You better not be late getting here or I'll leave you." Kyungsoo threatened.
"I won't. I won't. I'm already getting ready." Jongin replied. It was true, though his actions are much slower because most of his focus goes to speaking
on the phone and savoring every bit of the sound of Kyungsoo's cool and sweet voice.
"Okay then. I'll drop the call now. See you."
"Yeah. See you, Soo." he paused for a moment, waiting for Kyungsoo to cut the call from his end, but there was only silence.
"Soo?" he called again. Jongin realized just how much he's using Kyungsoo's nickname. He really do love calling him that. Soo. It gives him some
kind
