Kyungsoo saw not the slightest change of expression from the stranger's handsome face. The boy looked at him from head to toe and it made 

Kyungsoo feel the great need to escape. It would be a different case if he's Jongin's permanent boyfriend, if that was the case, he'll glare right 

back at the pale-skinned boy that stood inside the open door of Jongin's apartment. But he's not, he's just this week's lover, nothing more.

Unconsciously, he took a step back, his body already preparing for a sprint away from that place; away from Jongin's world. But the boy halted 

his senses.

"Wait!" he said in a voice lower and deeper than Jongin's. The boy's face still the same poker look as when he opened the door. Confused, Kyungsoo 

stopped and waited. The boy let go of the door knob he was holding since earlier and went back inside the house. In a matter of seconds, the boy 

came back to Kyungsoo's view, only this time he's carrying a big black backpack that hang over his right shoulder. The boy approached him and 

patted his right shoulder as he walked past him, saying a quick "Tag. You're it." 

The boy walked the length of the hallway of the third floor apartment complex before disappearing from Kyungsoo's view. He was so confused, 

bewildered by how things happened but the boy had left Jongin's door open. Kyungsoo was still debating whether he should come in or not, but 

at the state he was in, he'll grab any desperate chance he can get to be with Jongin.

Quietly, he came inside and closed the door behind him. He was taking in everything inside the house. There's no doubt that this house belonged 

to Jongin. It was full of books, more than what he imagined. It looked more than a mini-library than a house. Kyungsoo would have been overcome 

with joy seeing this part of Jongin's life if he came here without the heavy feeling that still clung to his chest.

He didn't know how, but the first room he opened, the last room at the hallway, was where the beautiful boy is. A mixture of pain, happiness and 

longing came surging through his veins at the sight of Jongin. A pang of worry added to that when he saw Jongin's flushed face. Despite being a 

tone darker than everyone, Jongin's face still emitted a pink shade, indicating how sick he is.

Cautiously, Kyungsoo rested his hand on Jongin's forehead. The hot skin under his touch sent electricity coursing through him. Oh how he want 

to own Jongin forever, be allowed to touch him whenever he wanted, be the one closest to him. A dark hand of possessiveness was gripping his 

heart, telling him to never let Jongin go. But that will be too selfish of him. 'So what?' Kyungsoo heard the voice speak in his head. 'So what if 

you're selfish? You want him, right?' the voice continued to prod. 'Yes! Yes I want him more than anything! I love him! And that's why I can't be 

selfish! I can't tie him to me!' he nagged back. 'Liar!' the voice answered back and Kyungsoo knows that the voice speaks nothing but his honest 

feelings.

Kyungsoo's inner debate with himself was interrupted when Jongin's fevered body stirred under his touch. Beads of sweat started forming on Jongin's 

face. Carefully, quietly and hurriedly, Kyungsoo dropped his bag and started wringing out the towel in a basin of water he found at the table next to 

the bed. He started wiping the beautiful face lined with sweat and fever. With the touch of the towel on his face, Jongin stirred in his sleep and mumbled 

incoherent sounds.

When he did make sense with his words, enough for Kyungsoo to understand, the older boy had the chance to know the pale-faced boy's name.

"Sehun... Don't... leave."
