End of Wednesday
Weekly Lover"Sorry to intrude." Jongin said as he entered Kyungsoo's house for the first time. His excitement cannot be put to words, he'd wanted to see what
Kyungsoo's house looked like from the first time he took him home. At the same time, he was overwhelmingly nervous, this will be his first time
entering his lover's house. Of course, in the past, a lot of girls wanted to introduce him to their friends and parents and would often invite him to
their homes, but he always refused. He didn't want to get too involved in their life because of the very reason he was dating them. Because it was
just a one week contract. But Kyungsoo, he'd always been the sole exception to the rules he built in his dating life, or on a more accurate term,
Kyungsoo's making him break his own rules.
"Go and sit wherever you like, I'm just going to prepare the dinner table." Kyungsoo just put his bag down and proceeded to the kitchen.
As much as he wanted to stay behaved while he's waiting for Kyungsoo, the image of the older wearing an apron in the kitchen, felt like such a
waste to let the opportunity slip. Jongin sneak up behind him and slid his arms on Kyungsoo's side until he's hugging him. He let his nose brush
against Kyungsoo's nape and tightened his embrace.
"You look cute in this." Jongin whispered to him. Although Kyungsoo already looked cute enough even without the blue apron; the younger just
found it the perfect reason to call the older "cute".
"I can't move like this, so would you mind waiting a bit?" Kyungsoo pinched his nose in a playful gesture. Even if the older said that, he made no
effort to escape from the younger's embrace, actually, if Jongin wasn't imagining it, he'd say that Kyungsoo is snuggling closer to him.
Jongin squeezed him one more time before finally letting Kyungsoo heat the food and set up the table. By the time they were seated for dinner, it
was already dark outside. They shared a chicken curry dish which is mildly spicy. It was delicious, just what you'd expect from a home cooked
meal. When they were done, Jongin volunteered to wash the dishes, of course, persuading Kyungsoo wasn't easy.
"You're a guest. You should just sit down and let me do the work." The older said in a firm tone, already picking up the dishes while he's at it.
"But Kyungsoo, you already let me eat. Let me at least do the dishes." Jongin pleaded, consciously trying to act cute just to make Kyungsoo give in,
while holding the older's hand to stop him from tidying up the table.
"But Jongin..." Kyungsoo tried to argue back, but Jongin can sense that one more push and he's going to win this.
"Please?" Jongin looked at him with what Kyungsoo always refer to as his puppy face. The older released a sigh as a sign that he has given up on
the fight. "Go take a bath while I'm washing these." The younger urged.
"I guess I'll do that." Kyungsoo removed the apron he was wearing and draped it over Jongin. "It might be a bit small but I guess it's better than my
mom's pink frills." As Kyungsoo was putting on the apron on Jongin; tying it around him from the front, the younger landed a quick peck on Kyungsoo's
forehead, then smiled at him before turning his attention to the sink.
Before Kyungsoo disappeared to his room to take a bath, he made a quick trip to the area of the cupboards. "Here. Use this. We have a bunch of
disposable toothbrushes here. The smell of the curry is a bit strong, so I recommend that you brush your teeth before going home."
"Is that a subtle way of telling me that I smell like curry?" Jongin mused.
"I'm not being subtle about it. You do smell like curry." And he was gone, escaped through the stairs to take a bath, leaving Jongin with the dishes.
Jongin finished tidying up the kitchen, and brushed his teeth as Kyungsoo suggested then went to sit back in the living room. They just ate and talked
but there's no doubt that he had a great time. He won't regret coming with Kyungsoo for dinner and letting himself stay out until this late.
