"Hyun.."

The voice around him was muffled.
His image was still dark, but he knows he isn’t in that gloomy room anymore.
Somehow he could sense this place being much brighter and lighter.
It was difficult to open his eyes... it felt as if something is weighing his eyelids down.

He could feel someone shaking his left hand.
A jolt of energy passed through his body,
and he thought he moved a finger.
He wasn’t sure.
He tries moving his lips. It felt numb.

“Nurse! Quickly!”

Slowly the voices in his surrounding became clearer, and clearer.
Who is that person? Shouting around with that nasally voice.
Ack. The pain throbs and pulses in his skull.
Can’t that guy just stop already?

“Nurse! Please call for the doctor! Quickly!”

Laying on the pillow doesn’t seem to reduce the pain in his head.

Every pound that hit him sends an agonising sting. It felt really terrible.

His eyes keep shifting, it was hard to focus on the person in front of him.
Worse when everything just seems so fuzzy.
Squinting his eyes doesn’t help much too.
The person he is looking at is constantly swinging and moving around.

With every bit of strength he had at that moment, he grip onto that man’s shirt.

That person stopped his actions almost immediately.

That person was a young man with hair as dark as what he was wearing.
All black. No doubt this was that person.
