Woohyun couldn't help but think about Kim Sunggyu. He didn't know what was so special about that man, he didn't know why. He hardly knew him. He just knew what his name was and what was his door number. He had no idea what was his job, what was his age, how he looked like, from where he came from, if he was studying, if he was a nice or mean person. He wanted to all of those things before he could speak or think anything about Kim Sunggyu, but the truth was, he couldn't stop thinking about him. All he knew about that man was that he made up a cold so he wouldn't come behind the door and that his voice sounded broken and that he was in a very deep depression. He knew he shouldn't care. Like he said, he had no idea who this man was. For all he and his aunt knew, Kim Sunggyu could be a or a serial killer running from the police and trying to go under a very low profile.

But then, Woohyun was sure that wasn't it. He didn't know how, but he was sure that this Kim Sunggyu couldn't hurt a fly. He was sure he could hurt himself. For some reason, he was sure that the man was going to hurt himself any moment. He just didn't know what he could do. He couldn't show up, unannounced and say he was worried because he had the feeling something bad was going to happen. Kim Sunggyu would probably laugh, call him weird and close the door right into his face. Yeah, anyone would call him mental. But he couldn't help it. He was sure something bad was going to happen. He just didn't know what was it. It could also be all in his head. No one told him to watch a depressing, emotional drama last night. Now he was feeling like he had to save the world before it was too late for the human kind.

He knew it was all his imagination, he knew it. It had to be. If it wasn't, how would he feel such pain inside his heart? Why would he feel like he had to come up with an excuse just to see Kim Sunggyu? He didn't know what was happening, he didn't know what was wrong with him, but he was starting to think he had lost all complete sense of rationality. But then again, since when he had one? He always did things by impulse, and he hardly asked people for permission. He knew it was a thing he had to change because it annoyed people. What could he say, what could he use to make Kim Sunggyu open his door and welcome in? What could he do? Should he say the building was on fire? Of course not, that was a very stupid idea. That would make Kim Sunggyu and people who heard him be in panic and there was no need for such a thing. He just needed an excuse, he just needed something that didn't looked like it was made up.

He didn't even realized he was walking around the street when he started hearing children running, saying they were going to be late for school. He gave a quick look around and he saw how many people were already outside, working or getting ready for work. He couldn't help but think how different this scene was from what he just saw. It was like the one he saw with Kim Sunggyu was from a different day, from a different part of his life. Before he felt like a dark shadow was above him, making him look down to his feet and feel he wouldn't be able to help the other man, even thought he didn't asked for it. Woohyun just knew he had to do something before he went insane from thinking too much. Thinking too much made him sleep deprived, sleep deprived made him angry, angry made him cruel. And that was something he didn't want to happen. And it wouldn't...right?

“Young man, would you like some soup? We have the best!” Hearing the old lady speak, Woohyun couldn't help but smile. It was like god wanted him to go back to Kim Sunggyu's apartment and check on him, to make sure everything was alright, to make sure it was nothing but his imagination that was making him think more than he should. “Is it good for colds?” He asked with a bright smile, knowing how women loved it, and the old lady smiled back. “A little of this soup and lots of love and you're cured.” That was all he wanted to ear. He could be good at many things, but cooking wasn't one of them. He could do instant ramen, but it started and ended there. “I'll take it!” The lady smiled and prepared his soup. He just hoped that this would be the perfect excuse and that Kim Sunggyu understood why he was worried, because if not, he had absolutely no idea of what to do after. He just wanted those stupid thoughts and sense of guilt to disappear as soon he saw the other man alright and annoyed that he was there for the second time in the same day.

“Hi Kim Sunggyu!” he said as happy as he could. He knew his presence wasn't that welcome, specially when he saw the man was still hiding the door. Why was he doing that? Why couldn't he come outside and tell Woohyun just to leave him alone? ““I brought you some chicken soup since you're sick! My mom always told me it was good for people with colds. A nice restaurant had it so I brought it for you!” When he said mom, he actually meant aunt, but for know, he would just stick with that. People didn't had to know he had no biological mother. Because he had a mother. It was his aunt. And he knew Kim Sunggyu wanted him out of there. He knew that Kim Sunggyu wanted to be left alone. He would gladly leave, he really would, but for some reason his legs weren't moving, no matter how many orders his brain had sent. It was like he was glued to that floor and wouldn't leave no matter what. “It's not very hot now but I still hope you like it and while you eat we could hang out because I'm really bored and I've nothing to...” His words died.

They died when he saw the small pool of blood on the floor. He followed the drops and then he noticed Kim Sunggyu's hand bleeding, tainting his white shirt. Woohyun still couldn't see his face, but at that moment, he couldn't care less. The man in front of him was bleeding in a way he only saw in movies and he had no idea what to do. He never, ever saw so much blood. It was blood on the arm, on the hand, on the floor...and a small trail of drops were behind the injured man. “What happened to your arm? Why is it bleeding so much?”

He saw Kim Sunggyu grab his sleeve and tried to cover the injury, but as he did, the shirt gained a new red spot. “You're bleeding too much! You need to clean your hand! It can be dangerous!” what was he saying? Can be dangerous? Wasn't he seeing the amount of blood Kim Sunggyu was losing? They should just go to the hospital and give stitches to this man before he fainted or even died. He walked inside the apartment, not even taking his shoes off. He dropped the bag he had on the floor and grabbed the injured arm. “Don't.” He heard the man say.

Kim Sunggyu's voice was weak, but it still was a little demanding. But Woohyun being who he was, he ignored it and grabbed the injured hand and went running to the only place he could think of. The bathroom. He could feel the other fighting, but he didn't care. All he could think at that moment was stop that bleeding and make the man feel better. From the corner of his eyes he saw small mirror pieces all over the floor. His curiosity started wondering but he knew there was no time to ask about such thing. Maybe later, but not now. “How can you even live in such a dark place? I can't see a thing!” He was about to turn on the light, so he could see something, but as he moved, he felt Kim Sunggyu almost jump on top of him and grab his left arm. He could feel the injured man shiver, like he was about to cry, and the only thing he said, like a whisper was “Don't...please...”.

He couldn't say no. He just continued holding Kim Sunggyu and dragged him to the master bathroom. There he knew he would have natural light, and he would be able to see at least the wound so he could clean it. “Sit!” He said. He knew he sounded a little bossy and mean, but he couldn't help it. He could feel his heart almost jump from his chest because of the nerves. He didn't know what to do, but he knew he had to pretend he was calm for the other man's sake. “Sit. We have to clean your hand!” this time it came a little softer, but he still sounded mean. He saw Kim Sunggyu did as he was told and Woohyun took a relieved breath.

He grabbed a random towel, got it went and then he seat in front of the injured man. He started cleaning the wound as gently as it was human possible. He didn't wanted to other to be scared, or even more. And it was the only explanation. Other wise, why would Kim Sunggyu be hiding his face under a hood? He was probably ashamed of what happened and didn't want to look straight into Woohyun's eyes. But Woohyun wouldn't judge! Never! “Why?” He heard the weak man ask, his voice almost a whisper. “I was taught to always help people.” Woohyun could feel the man wasn't satisfied with the answer, so he decided he should continued, or at least, he should say something. He saw Kim Sunggyu hiding his face even more, not allowing Woohyun to look at his eyes. “I don't know why I do the things I do, but I like to do them!”

As silence took over them, he continued cleaning the wounds. He noticed Kim Sunggyu had closed his eyes and his hood had stopped covering a little of his face. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make Woohyun's heart jump from his chest. He wasn't expecting this man to be so...he couldn't even come up with the words. He just continued staring, still not believing what he was seeing. But it didn't lasted long because he saw Kim Sunggyu cry. He didn't know why he was crying. Maybe Woohyun was being too rough with the cleaning and it was hurting him? Maybe he said something he shouldn't? He didn't know, but what he did know what that he didn't liked to see this man crying. At all.

Not even thinking, something that happened a lot, Woohyun started cleaning those tears with his thumb. It hurt. He didn't know why, but it hurt seeing this man, this frail, weak man cry in such a way. It was one of the most painful things that ever happened to Woohyun. He didn't know why, but it was starting to get hard to breath. “Don't cry...please...” He could feel Kim Sunggyu was expecting him to say words of pity, words that would show that he felt bad. Woohyun didn't felt bad. He felt horrible. He felt like , and he didn't even knew why! “I don't know how you injured yourself...but can I help you...get better?” It was a lie. He knew very well how the man had hurt himself, he just didn't know why. And yes, he did wanted to help Kim Sunggyu get better. He wanted a lot.

He didn't know what possessed him to do it, but before he knew it, he was moving closer to the weak man, his hand never leaving Kim Sunggyu's cheek and his lips brushed the soft skin under his digits. He never, ever, felt such silky skin. Just imagining how it would be to touch that skin forever, gave him chills and he couldn't help but move a little closer. He knew Kim Sunggyu wasn't very comfortable with what was happening, but there was something he had to say. He didn't know why, he didn't cared why. He just brushed his lips against the soft skin and whispered “You're beautiful....”
