"We have to get out of here." A female with long black hair shouted over the loud explosions behind her. She looked at her sister who was busy trying to stuff all of her belongings into her purse.   "Leave it you idiot ! We can always make it again !" The lady said as she tried to tug the other black haired girl out. There was another loud blast and the whole castle shook.   "Come on Hope !" They both scrambled up and began running. The whole castle seemed to have evacuated. If they looked out of the large windows that passed them they could see their entire kingdom being attacked by unknowable creatures. It pained them to see this happen but they were in no shape of way of helping any one out. This was a surprise attack and a very good one.   "Watch out !" Hope pulled her darker haired sister back as a blast shoot through the window, disintegrating anything in its path.  They both landed on the marble floors with a thud and tried to find something to cover them.   "We have to get out of here Fate !" Hope said rummaging through her bag before she found the right thing.   "Is that what I think it is ?" Fate asked. Her usual emotionless face in shock.   "Yes ! Let's go." And then Hope threw a smile vile. It shattered into a portal and they both jumped through. Throughout the other end was the sky and they were falling.   "Land !" Hope shouted and soon they landed on their bottoms. They were a good ten miles outside of their kingdom but they could see what was going on clearly. Their enemies had attacked when they were not looking. When their powers were not the best and when no one was expecting an attack. Their army was barely prepared and how they got passed the eyes of fate was unknown to all.   "We can't let this happen again." Fate whispered but her voice held rage and pain.   "We have to end this now." Hope agreed and her all white eyes began to turn black like her sisters and soon the sky roared in a angry dark purple glow. "End it all sister. We can rebuild what has been lost in time. But to end suffering you must start anew." Fate said and Hope let the purple storm rain over their kingdom. It destroyed everything it touched. Leaving nothing but what it has once been in its path.   "They're retreating." Fate watched in anger as the enemy fled towards their ships and began flying off back to where they came. Using her powers, Fate casted a dark storm as well and threw it at them. They were fast though and soon as they saw what was after them, they sped away within the blink of an eye. Fate gritted her teeth in annoyance.   When Hope was finished she flopped to the ground. All of their hard work. Their people and kingdom. Everything was gone. She didn't know how to start over. But it was the only way. The other members of the council wouldn't like this but it was the only way to start.   "Let's go-" Fate began but a cry throughout the silence stopped her.   "What was that ?" Hope asked looking around the rubbage. They heard the cries again and soon a small tiny figure popped up crawling.   "It's a baby." Hope said, a gentle smile on her face.   "It's not any baby. It's one of theirs. Look at its skin." Fate said and sure enough the babies skin was a pale blue with dark tattoo like markings.   "Who brings a baby to war ? The nerve of them." Hope said in disappointment.   "Well let's kill it and go. The council must already know what has been going on." Fate said already working on a portal.   "What ? Kill it ?! I can't do such a thing. It is nothing but a innocent child." Hope said reaching out to the baby who had stopped crying as soon as he was in her arms.   "An child that comes from them. If they find out we have one of them who knows what they will do." Fate said.   "Have a little hope sister. Can't you see. This child might be exactly what we need." Hope said lifting the baby up and staring into its red eyes. It sneezed cutely and Hope smiled. Yes she can feel something good coming out of this child.   "Fine. Let the council make the decision. Come on." Fate said walking through the portal. Hope skipped happily behind her. A bit sad that she was leaving a world that she planted herself behind but happy to start a new one.   .   "You wish to keep this child ? What will you do with it ?"   "I say kill it !"   "As do I."   "Agreed."   "Wait !" Hope interrupted the councils mummers.  "Please reconsider. Think about what this child can do in the future. He could be the key to helping us defeat our enemies. He is the spark that we need. And all we need is time."   "And you think I'd give you some ?" Father Time spoke up.   "Please Father. Just until the new world is ready for what is to come." Hope said pleading.   "What if he betrays us ?" Pain asked.   "He will do nothing of the sort. If he is to be raised by us then he shall trust us." Hope said.   This made the council go into another uproar. Fate was silent at her end of the table. Her eyes locked on the child playing with the toys that Grace had given it. It laughed when something popped out of the little box.   "Fate ? What do you have to say about this ?" Mother Nature asked.   "Well.." Fate looked around the table, her dark eyes meeting everyone's. "I learned the hard way it's best to give into hope then to deny it."    "Then it's settle." Father Time said. "You two shall raise this child for the next world. It will be apart of whatever plans you have have and hopefully be there to win us the next battle."   "Yes father."
