The sky was dark all day. Clouds shielding the suns comforting rays leaving the Autumn day cold and damp. Citizens in the town below began locking up for the evening. Schools began letting out children early. Parents got off of work.

"Storms coming ! Get home quick kid !" The baker yelled out to a teenage boy who must have been walking home from school. The teenage boy nodded before picking up his speed. Maybe if he didn't have so many darn school books to carry home he would get their sooner. The sky rumbled and he couldn't help but tug his jacket closer to his body.

Storms were very bad where he lived. Their small town sat quietly cliff side of the ocean. The beach surrounding them and the only way to reach other people was to drive on the ten mile long bridge. 

"Jongdae-yah ! Is that you ? Your mother called. She said to come home quickly. Rains about to fall." An elder woman yelled out from her bedroom room window.

"Ne Ahjumma." Jongdae said tying the strings on his hood to keep it from falling off.

"Do you need a umbrella ? I'm sure Yoonjae left one out. Please take it." The elder woman called again. Jongdae spotted the bright red umbrella and gave his thanks as he took it.

He quickly opened it as the pitter of ran began to fall around him. He lived a good couple of blocks up hill from where he was now. If he moved faster he would make it home before the worst of the storm rolled in. Jongdae sighed in annoyance. If only the teacher didn't make him stay after to redo that essay. The sky rumbled again and this time it flickered with the tell tale of the on coming storm.

The umbrella was sturdy enough that it could withstand the gist of the winds that began to pick up. Though as the sky let out a large and bright rod of lightening that seemed to scatter from the left side of the sky to the right, Jongdae took off. It was always dangerous to be out in a storm. Everyone knew this. But honestly it wasn't his fault. His house was just up the road. Pulling out all his energy his sprinted. His school back heavy on his shoulders but he tried not to think about it.

He had a good 1/4 of a mile to go before his rain boots slipped and he fell onto the wet ground. The umbrella dropped from his grasp and blew away with the wind.

"Aish !" Jongdae grumbled as he picked himself up. The storm had really set in how and it was hard to tell which way was really which.

"Get a hold of yourself Jongdae. Your house is straight away. Just keep moving straight." Jongdae grumbled to himself as he wiped the water off his fade and proceeded to move uphill again.
 
That was until lightning struck a few inches away from his face. He gasped as he had never witnessed lightning so close before. It was almost blinding to look at, though for the mere seconds it was there, it left just as quickly.

"Holy ." Jongdae gasped to himself. He looked up at the sky but was just met with sheets of rain to the face. He was getting drenched out here and he knew he would be sick when he got home. Taking a careful step forward, over where the lightning had struck and sketched cracks into the ground and began moving again. His coat and school bag felt like they weighed a ton and Jongdae couldn't wait to take them off. He finally reached his house and sighed.

The candles were lite in the windows and he couldn't wait to feel the warmth of inside. He took another step forward when it hit him. It felt like his body was being ripped to shreds. The lightning zapped him right in his chest and spread throughout his body. It burned and stung and the same time. He couldn't even yell out for help as he felt to the ground. His whole body going in spazzums. 

"Wow Umma ! Did you see-" the voice of his older brother stopped as he spotted the body on the ground. "Jongdae-yah !" His brother opened the door and began to put his rain coat over his head when another rod of lightning struck Jongdae again.

He screamed this time. Screamed because it hurt. Because he couldn't move his body but he was shaking. Shaking so hard he couldn't breathe.

"Jongdae !"

Jongdae's eyes rolled behind his head as he couldn't control himself. It hurt. It hurt so much. Why couldn't it all just-

"Stop."

Jongdae opened his eyes to a blinding white room. Was he dead ?

"Yes."

He looked over to where the voice came and met the face of a woman. She stood tall on Jongdae's left and the teen couldn't help but be intimidated.

"W-where am I ? What happened to me ?" He asked body shaking for some reason.

"I'm pretty sure you remember what happened to you Jongdae. But for now let's just say you're dead."

"D-dead ?" Jongdae sputtered and placed a hand quickly to his chest. He screamed as he got flashes of being struck with lightning and the pain that came with. He quickly withdrew his hand.

"Surely you didn't think you could survive being struck by lightning twice. Especially in the heart." The woman said. Jongdae never heard such heartless words.

"I-I.." Jongdae didn't know what to say. He was only sixteen. He couldn't die just yet. He didn't
