When it was finally your turn to enter the haunted house your heart was already pounding against your chest from nervousness. But your face must look even worse than you were feeling, because Kyuhyun had noticed as well. “You look like a ghost right now. Is that your plan to get through the haunted house unnoticed?” he asked and chuckeled when you shoot him a look like you wanted to kill him. If he continued to be that way you would definetly die in there. If you only got to be with Yunho or someone else who would comfort you..but no you were stuck with one of the evil maknaes.

After the last pair disappeared into the dark in front of you, you stood there with Kyuhyun. Alone and scared like hell. The music and the dark atmosphere was already more than enough to make you feel uncomfortable. You were one of those people that even got scared when you were at home alone sometimes. You swallowed once. It must have been already about 1 minute since the last pair went into the haunted house. Kyuhyun chuckeled once again behind you. “ Are you really that scared?” you sighed since you really didn’t have the courage to go in there first. You turned to look at him, a little embarrassed to ask him. “Look Kyuhyun…well I am. Can’t you do me the favor and go in there first? I really can’t..” you admitted and unexpectedly he took a step forward and now it was you standing behind him, giving you some kind of comfort. “…Thanks…” you said still a bit uncomfortable and that was when a voice told you to go inside. Kyuhyun looked at you another time to make sure you were actually coming with him and then you went inside.

It was even darker inside the inner part of the haunted house. Kyuhyun didn’t look like he was scared at all. Maybe he really wasn’t? After all you didn’t know too much about him yet. While Kyuhyun proceeded at a steady pace you were torn between going slower, because it was dark and walking faster not to get left behind. That was when you finally reached the first room after the first passage way was just to set the mood. Kyuhyun was kind enough to wait for you and then entered the first room with you close behind him.
In this room there were only a few candles lit, so you saw nearly nothing. The music was piano music, but even though you liked piano music, it didn’t calm you down in the least bit. Even the air smelled a little weird, but you couldn’t define what it was. Slowly you took a few steps forward and even Kyuhyun seemed to hesitate a bit now that it was so dark. You both knew that something would be coming soon. You slowly made your way through the room and even the music seemed to tense. Both of you were quiet and waited for something to happen and as soon as you saw a piano that was full of candles it did. The piano music suddenly featured a female voice singing and after just a few phrases sung suddenly someone jumped at both of you from the side. You had already suspected that this room was somehow vampire themed, but as that men with a pale white face and red eyes and blood all over his mouth jumped at you, you couldn’t help but gasp from surprise and all the suspension in your body. You stood there frozen, but that was when the person that jumped at you already hid again. You heard Kyuhyun laugh and looked up at him. “It was totally clear that something would happen here.” he said and grinned at you. “I also know that!” you answered and pouted a little. Then you sighed. “Let’s continue walking ok? I want to get out of here..” you confessed once again and Kyuhyun continued walking.

Now you were even more careful than before and stuck to Kyuhyun’s  back closely. You soon left the room after nothing much, besides some scary lightning effects and some moving figures, happened. Now you entered a rather small hallway once again and continued to walk rather fast since there was a bit more light here. Soon you felt a weird atmosphere. You didn’t manage to get very far when you felt the sudden urge to turn around. The music had also gotten a little calmer though the piano had stopped playing completely and only those creepy horror film noises remained. You didn’t feel safer in these fully lighted hallways at all. It somehow made it only worse.
You continued to walk and suddenly you felt someone touch your shoulder. Now you couldn’t help but scream and turn around. Behind you was a zombie. You stumbled backwards against Kyuhyun who had also turned around when you screamed. He was fast to react and somehow pushed you behind him once again. But soon you heard footsteps coming at you from behind again and that’s when you were circled in that way too small hallway. Kyuhyun also seemed to dislike the situation and that’s when the lights suddenly went out with a loud bang. You flinched at the noise and suddenly Kyuhyun grabbed your hand and started running with you. You were alright knowing that there was a second person behind you since you knew they were only actors, but that the light went out genuinely surprised you. As soon as you started running the two zombies chased after you until you reached the next room that now seemed to be rather bright after you have been in the dark hallway. Both you and Kyuhyun panted and stood still after having entered the room and took a moment to take a breath. “Well…I didn’t expect that either..” Kyuhyun now admitted to you and you could only nod to agree. After a few seconds you noticed that you were still holding his hand and let go of him a little awkwardly. The situation seemed to be odd for him, too, since he only scratched his head and turned his head away from you.

You were not sure if you wanted to know what would wait for you in this room. The setting was a dark forest and after having looked around you both decided that you should walk again. The music was really dark and frightening once again and you both walked as fast as you could now. Suddenly a drum was played in the music and you flinched once again, expecting something to happen. But only some figures and insects in the forest moved and that didn’t creep you out too much. The drumming now got more frequent and there was an organ playing now as well. You looked at each other shortly and both new that something would happen soon again. You got closer to Kyuhyun again and now had to go through a small passage way where you could see people in cages extending their arms towards you, telling you to leave. This made you honestly uncomfortable. After you went through that passage way you encountered a huge round room with some fountain in the middle of it. Both of you knew that once you set a food closer to it something was coming at you once again. You both breathed unsteadily. Though Kyuhyun wasn’t afraid in the beginning he had to admit this haunted house was something else. You kind of knew when you’d be attacked, but you couldn’t help but be scared anyway. The music now was only the noise of the blowing wind and some wolf screaming far away. Both of you were afraid to make the next step. “Do you see the exit over there? We’ll just run there, okay?” Kyuhyun asked you and you could only reply with a whispered “Yes”. Kyuhyun decided that he should take your hand once again and you both got closer to the fountain with small steps.

As you stood there you could see that the exit you localized before wasn’t the only one. There were six to be exact. But before you could think about which to take the music changed once again got faster and louder. The sound of rain now replaced the one of wind and you automatically back up against the fountain. Soon you could hear footsteps once again and both of you looked around in a hurry to decide which exit to take. “Let’s just go somewhere!” you said in panic preferring meeting with one person a lot more than you don’t know how many. After hearing your words Kyuhyun pulled you to one of the exits and both of you nearly ran once again. The music made you go crazy even if you knew that you wouldn’t even have to worry.  Soon enough you ran into a person that didn’t hesitate to charge at you.
Instantly you turned around and walked back to the huge room. Kyuhyun told you to come back and grabbed your wrist. “I think this is some mind game. There will be persons in every single one of the exits so let’s just go through this one.” He explained in a matter of factly way. You looked at him and nodded. The person blocking your way was long gone and you just went on and soon noticed that it was getting brighter again. After having walked a bit further you reached a door and finally were able to exit the haunted house. You sighed in relief. Kyuhyun’s serious face also relaxed a little after he closed the door behind him. Once again he let go of your wrist a little awkwardly and you managed to smile at him. “Thank you..” was the only thing you managed to say, feeling a little embarrassed now after you were out of the haunted house.
“No big deal.” Kyuhyun answered, also feeling a little embarrassed.
You only nodded. You were feeling incredibly hot now. You only hoped that you didn’t blush or anything that made Kyuhyun notice that this was that embarrassing to you. Or was it only embarrassing? You should just forget about this, you thought.
“We should look for the others.” Kyuhyun now added and you went out of the building of the haunted house.

The others were already waiting and started to grin when they saw you. “You two look like you’re in for a second round?” Yoochun teased. “No way!” you admitted when you finally came to a stop in front of them. “Don’t tell me you all think it wasn’t a big deal?” you then asked. Yoochun now said it wasn’t scary for him, but Junsu, his partner, told us that he was even more afraid than him and that it was nearly as bad as on the ferris wheel. Everyone else seemed to have been fine, except for you. You sighed, but Yunho told you it was okay. You smiled at him and now Jaejoong spoke up.
“So, who is in for a round of karaoke? It’s already gotten a little late and the festival is going to end soon..so what would be better than a round of karaoke and soju?” he said smiling. Of course all of you thought that it was a great idea and you all headed back to the car to find a nearby karaoke bar.
